After what I’ve been through, I can honestly say that I understand Tia’s desire to prioritise her happiness. I also have to celebrate how she did it responsibly. Life is too short to be sacrificing yourself for other people’s convenience.
The problem is that the "unhappiness" most often comes just from the challenges of being an adult rather than something the other person is doing wrong but his generation is full of people who think life is supposed to be a party 24/7. The second it isn't here they come with the divorce papers. A lot of times it's followed by false accusations to make their frivolous divorce look more justified to the public. And it's the children who are robbed of a complete family structure.
Exactly this! If life is so short, why get married in the first place? One things for sure marriage is NOT a curriculum, it's a sacred bond you share with another, it's sad how diluted marriage has become.

I can’t speak on their marriage but I can say an observation that I made. I noticed in a lot of interviews Tia always seemed happy, joyful and full of life/hope. While Cory seemed a bit miserable. Not that I expected him to be bubbly like her, but the way he would answer certain questions and look at her crazy when she would answer a certain it. It just seemed like her light was too bright for him or something. Just my observation but I could definitely be wrong. But I wish them both all the best. I hope both their careers continue to flourish. 🙏🏾♥️

When I look at Cory’s body language in previous interviews, he didn’t seem like a man that was in love with his wife or attracted to her like that. I think Tia got tired of taking the little he offered her emotionally and decided to divorce him. Wish my sister did the same. She’s going through hell at the moment from her soon to be ex husband with regards to their finances. He never put anything into the marriage. My parents mainly payed for for their mortgage along with some of my Grans inheritance yet he still wants 50/50 of everything.
It looked so good from the outside. But only the two people in it know what’s really going on. They may have grown a part. Folks these two grew up together and may have gone in different directions. Your needs can change over the years. What she needs in her life now might not be who he is. We don’t grow at the same rate.

He wasn't trying to get money from her. He challenged the prenupt so that she couldn't bring men around their children until she had been dating seriously for 6 months, and so that they wouldn't talk bad about each otther in public. It looks like he actually pays more for the kids than she does in the agrement they came to. This agreement supercedse the prenupt.

What he didn't do is come out the gate saying that he didn't want spousal support, but never checekd the box seeking spousal support either. There is no record of him asking for money or property from her. All we know is in the agreement they can't have new people aroudn their kids right away and the parent has to meet new person before the kids do and that they can't speak bad about each other in public spaces and what each parent has to pay for concerning the kids.
