- Making a tool tote with only hand tools. From Roy Underhill's book The Woodright's Apprentice. This is a pretty easy project anyone can do.
tldw: (tool long didn't watch) - some lessons learned and some gappy joints.
I like the idea of precutting the rabbit to avoid blowout into the piece. Im gonna steal that :). Nice video, subscribed!
3 minutes in and gotta say, love this video! Awesomely honest and sharing for the sake of sharing.
Thanks Greg. Glad you liked it.
Fun and useful little project. Lots of opportunities to learn new skills and sharpen existing ones. Certainly gives an appreciation of the craftsmen of old who didn't have the tools we do today.
👍👍
Great video. Thanks for sharing. When using a shooting board, you can use the angled off-cut to match the angle of the board.
Great tip. That would be way easier. Thanks
Good enough for some garden tools.
I used it today to haul some stuff around.
DON'T GO TO THE DARK SIDE. (Power tool).
you did good. When I started wood working all of my work was ugly I mean butt ugly but with practice you will get better.
You might watch Tom Fergison and his kerfing saw with resawing help.
Thanks. I'll check out Tom.
Great project! Really like the pencil sharpener too 😊 Which wood glues do you prefer?
That pencil sharpener is really good. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075M6TC6N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I like titebond regular but right now I have a lot of titebond II so until that gets used up it's most of what my stuff gets.
