"NO" and "ON" - in 'NO' they fight against society and concepts that oppress them and in 'ON', the fight is within themselves, against their own dilemmas.
BTS is always deep in their lyrics and contexts.

Saya's little smile when Jin shows up. I feel you, girl ❤ ON was the song that firmly made me fall into the rabbit hole. Jung Kook's high note and that insane dance break did it for me.
Love how you called this a gift to ARMY. Literally BTS is a gift to the universe.
The thing about MOTS: 7 is that we've all had to go back and re-evaluate the lyrics and what meaning was intended after we found out that this album was supposed to be their last before military service.
They've talked a lot since this album came out about the shadow cast by the spotlight (ie, fame and its repercussions). ON specifically mentions this trap/prison that they willfully walked into and all they can do is just keep moving forward and ride the wave.
FYI, I think the word you were searching for to describe the song is anthem.

Oh my gosh!!! Me too!! My gateway was Mic Drop, followed by ON. And then, followed by anything I could find BTS. :) I found them in my darkest days, and I will always be grateful. 💜 It is so true that you find BTS (and Army) when you need them most!

06:01 BTS usually releases title track and whole album on the same day....but somce 2020 they started doing: pre release track, title track and labum, post release track or variation of this release pattern
I would love to see you guys react to crystal snow, one of bts Japanese songs. It will be even more great if you guys can do a bts Japanese songs reaction segment. Their Japanese songs are so great

ON song official MV would hv brought better reaction than this pre recorded dance choreography video.
MV is more concept driven...plus each individual members verses are individually focused. And also music and instruments adds so much to MV.
Plus the concept of MV just simply mind blowing!
Suggestion: the right video brings very different reaction. Here everythinh got lost in dance choreography.
