I bet this Raffles model has an Adirondack top. All of Maestro’s Adirondack guitars sound terrible. Like someone strumming a washboard. They don’t know how to adjust the guitar’s components to account for the much more stiff top. Will probably sound nice in ten years but I’m not that patient.
@@naturelife7536 honestly sounds great, to me sounds more articulate than walnut and has a resemblance to Koa. Plus, it looks stunning in the light. I’d recommend trying it out first though because you might have a different opinion than me:)
@@leomatlucius sadly i cant try out any because there arn’t any shops near me that sell maestro guitars in the US, may i ask what body shape you purchased? How are the overtones, and sustain, resonance of lychee?

Yeah, that's not my experience at all. My Adi IR Singa is fantastic.
Same! I got a Adi with Lychee Back and sides and it plays wonderfully, better than Taylor’s at the price range
