I'm in U.S.A. I'm American, I give you permission under 1st. Amendment of the United States Constitution. Just came across your channel and subscribed. I love watching UK auditors.
Welcome aboard my friend!!
Other than the religion clause of the First Amendment (the UK is officially a Christian group of countries, although religion is in a steep decline), all clauses also apply in the UK.
There should be a committee of auditors to meet once a year to vote on the best "official-sounding" reason a drone can't fly in the unrestricted air space over a company,,and award a trophy.... Mr Internal Law here gave a standout performance...
thats a good idea!
100% agree that would be a brilliant idea!!! THE WOKE AWARDS: What a great laugh that night would be! x
They get paid a lot of money to tell fibs for the boss . Stretching out his words while he thought up the fibs was a rookie mistake .
Great idea 👍👍
😂😂😂
The security guard deserves a big thumbs up 👍🏻
Yellow vest man was laughing, he knew orange vest was talking rubbish.
It's an amazing law that stops you filming - yet nobody seems to know what it is do they!
I would have loved him to call the police using that info!!
It's odd that now everyone has a camera, suddenly they think it's illegal to use one...
The security guy was sound. Did his job. Didn't push around subjects he didn't know about and asked management.
The top level manager is basically incompetent.
As far as I know, American law does not apply in the UK.
that is correct!!
Strange thing how a countries laws only apply in that country
Apart from lots of E.U. laws apply here.
Slowly there going through them working out which ones to keep/abolish or modify
No. Any company that manufactures rubber ducks falls under US laws.
I asked Biden about that but before he could answer, he fell asleep.
Security was spot on, interacted nicely with you then checked with a superior. Thats how they should do their job.
Absolutely, he was great
Except his initial interaction was to attempt to prevent filming by claiming it "you shouldn't be doing that", who knows what BS he would have come out with if he hadn't been disturbed by the canteen lady. Pleasant enough chap, but outright wrong to attempt to prevent this activity from a public place.
Orange vest guy probably the politest jobsworth seen this year.
“We will take the appropriate action”
Do absolutely nothing? That’s the appropriate action 😂
He loves that his parent company is American.
The amount of guff that bloke spouted was comical 😂
Brilliant drone footage
thank you
oh calm down it’s not like you could do any better
Nice security guy. Badge on show, polite, and when he was unsure he spoke to a superior for clarification or not in this case 🤣🤣
Anyway nice guy, and thxs for taking the time to do these vids BP
He was just how a security person should be! Thanks for watching
I’m sure there’s laws
What laws
Err internal laws
That made me roll 😂
Well done...you appropriately did your filming. Must be having nightmares about his "granting" and his "permission"! He sounds like a bloke who can make a 10 minute meeting last hours.
thank you!
Sounded like his batteries were running low when he talked about being sure there was a law
Great content again man
thank you my friend!
He was like the rabbit not using Duracell.
They were actually alright, just ignorant of the law,it was funny that the guy in orange was offended by the fact that he would be educated by the police on the law but some people just believe they know more than they do. The security guard was brilliant.
It's been raining for two days non stop. Am I depressed, no chance just seen this video, how I laughed😂
hehe glad I cheered you up!
Good one BP. Yet more crazy reasons why you can’t fly your drone. Never heard the “can’t fly because it’s American owned” excuse before. Like the way the lady working in the canteen came and photo-bombed (or rather video-bombed) you while she complained about where she had to park.
Nice of the security chap to come out at the end to clarify things.
Their road markings are crazy - Keep Clear, No Left Turn, Keep Left, Stop. Bonkers.
Well done again for educating another company 👍🏼😊
thank you, yea, this was a new one to me!! I left the lady in as I thought it was funny that mid convo she just jumoed in!!
@@bpvisits 😂👍🏼
The American Government don’t make laws in the UK, other than on USAF air bases which are treated similar to embassies.
Security was spot on - engaged with you professionally & advised the management as he no doubt was required.
he did his job perfectly!
I enjoy your videos and hope to see you venture out over time and create your own unique style. Keep it up!
I appreciate that!
@@bpvisits I appreciate your work. Excellent videos, great Audits, fantastic production and editing.
Your support is very much appreciated my friend
Another great video BP, wonderful drone footage. That security guy was very nice. He has a job to do and did it perfectly in my opinion. Shame about the pleb that came out to engage with you, how do fools like this get promoted to management. It was very professional of the security guard to come out to you at the end and explain his rationale for escalating it to the plant minder.
Glad you enjoyed it
He's the plant manager 🤣
Ah the joys of a middle manager
It’s amazing how these people can create new laws on the spot.
AM SURE???
He's spoken to the director a few times and its left him mesmerised. Stopped using his brain. If our laws upset an American then tough luck!
what a crank a law for american company love the panoramic views at the end of surrounding area
glad you enjoyed it!
The sign at the entrance is actually the UK regulatory sign for NO pedestrians. Maybe it means something else under internal special law.
In case anyone is wondering, the laws in the u.k concerning public photography is the same as in the u.s.
Although the plant manager was ignorant of the law; he did show concern for your safety when directing you off site. He deserves credit for that.
That site manager was more concerned about getting sacked from his American overlords then his own country's laws . 😮😮
Aussie JW worker here; receptionist!
Nice to see a familiar place in the UK.
Hello there!
@bpvisits love your content mate. You and DJ should team up.
I'm not big enough for him to notice me yet 😥
@@bpvisits awww. You will be!
Security guard was much better than the arrogant manager.
yea, I like it when the come back to you to explain why...
Auditing has been around for years now. Why is there still company’s/people still living under a massive rock? It’s ridiculous.
I dont audit, I "visit"!!
@@bpvisits visiting then!!
Another one under the belt BP. The US laws don’t apply here. Enjoyed another video .
INTERNAL US laws too 😂
As they say , don’t open your mouth if all you do is prove your stupidity , and that is what that gentleman did there.
Glad you enjoyed
Ive said it so many times: we live in clown world.... And these are the prize performers. !!
Interesting that the 'walkway' to the right of the entrance is marked with a 'No Pedestrians' sign!
Look out for the midnight knock from the FBI 😮😮😮😮😅😅😅😅😅
What an absoloute gent that security gaurd was, can tell he knew it was all paranoia but stayed professional
He certainly did, great guy
I'm over from DJ Audits channel and im enjoying your videos mate, keep up the good work 🇮🇪 👍
Welcome aboard!
Right next to that tarmac place. Guessing you did them both on the same day?
They'll learn eventually.
Your only about 4 miles from me there.
Yes I did, I finished this one and was just passing tarmac place when I thought "that looks interesting"!
Even though the manager didn’t know the law I thought he was a great guy. Rational and not over reacting. Level headed and it’s clear to see why he was the boss.
He was good tbh
They spout such rubbish with such conviction its as though they are trying to convince themselves its true
I know, which makes it harder to educate them!
I got Jeldwen doors for my property. They looked gorgeous.....until they got their first scratch, which you can't buff out. Wish I hadn't bothered.
If you've got to think as long and hard as the site manager did to try to come up with a reason to stop, surely you'd have to come to the conclusion that there's no harm in doing it.
I felt a bit sorry for the security guard because he seemed fairly sound when he came out first time and at least tried to get confirmation. I think he was a little camera shy but I understand that. He looked a bit awkward when the site manager was talking too and I got the feeling he thought he was working too hard to stop it happening. I liked how he waited until the drone came down before coming back out to clear the air. All in all I think he did a sterling job.
The other manager at the end knew the score but I struggled to hear what he was saying. I guess the site manager had spoken to him and he put him right. Overall I think the reaction was positive, they came out to investigate, seemed to listen, and then left BP alone. The 8/10 score confirms this too.
What on earth are internal laws.
No idea! but thats good for me as I dont abide by their laws!!
policies.. guidelines.. rules.. all of which don't apply to an non-employee
internal law means the law of a State or Foreign Jurisdiction without reference to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Visit score should have an IED box as probably the most important
ECHR European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms ECHR) is a European treaty in which the human and civil rights of all residents of the member countries are laid down (article 10). it allows filming in the public sector, public and government buildings , everything you can see from public you can photo and record it since November 4, 1950, EVEN DRONES
Ignorance of the law by senior employees is widespread. When they speak to their staff they can spout NONSENCE and get away with it because staff won't contradict them.!!!!!!!
WE have here the corporate attitude that my site rules are the LAW OF THE LAND.
Also they have the view that flying a drone over their precious site is ILEGAL because in their mind it should be a law.!!
Loving the score board and great videos as always you sir are one at the top of auditors keep up the great work 👍🏻👍🏻
Much appreciated
Nappy filling legal experts are so funny aren’t they?
Always interesting BP, thank you. Keep up the good work and soon people will be asking if you're BP and not DJ!
thank you my friend...hopefully they will!
@@bpvisits The subs are going up steadily 😉
@@danielcook8380 they are! im well pleased with the support!
Jedward have not aged well
12:38 They have internal laws? 😂
Apparently!!
Just so you all know that law would never be enforced here in the US. We have the same ability and right to fly over any non-restricted area. The property owners do not control the airspace above their property. Amazing how after several hundred years people still don't understand that they have no expatiation of privacy in public and have no right or authority to to change it.
Thanks for the info my America friend!
American company laws don't apply in the UK.
It is perfectly legal and lawful to fly a sub 250 gram drone above any commercial company.
The security guard was friendly and professional.
correct, and yes he was!
But it's an AMERICAN company! They have special laws! 😂
another reasonable security
he was
Noe sure!!. Like saying should, would, or could.
10:15 😂😂😂😂😂🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣 what a goof 😂😂😂😂
its one of the biggest fiddles going, councils have to spend their allotted grants every year or loose it... its a regular event to have your door replaced at great expense for no reason... especially in tower blocks, apparently.. 😂
Mines being replaced next week hahahah
Same as every government funded institution. Use it or lose it next financial year.
There ought to be a law against it…
“We have internal laws”.
Wow. This company makes LAWS now.
That had to be the funniest part. 😅😅😅
In the US they make windows and doors. Their headquarters, I believe, are in the state of Oregon.
thanks for the info!
This is the same Jeld Wen company who was found guilty of price fixing the market in Chicago USA, they are very underhand in their business dealings so I dread to think what they are up to in the uk?? They are here for a reason....😮😮 $61,600,000 was the figure they settled for in court, over £55 million , 😮😮
Blimey! thats interesting!
Modern management is not about competence anymore, just how convincing your BS is (especially with US companies). Sadly, the manager here exceeded his ability for credible BS by some margin. He needs to work on it to progress in his career.
Good to see they have stations for EVs...... for the bosses' car that is.....
Used to be John Carr Joinery for yonks, delt with under both names over many years. A good company to deal with.
Oh oh no there isn't 😂😂😂😂😂😂
6:57 Nice!
Public Recording/phototherapy is not a crime
Correct!
Nice security man, makes a change..
lkolllllllllllllllllll law, hHHAHAHAHAH , A DRONE UNDER 250 GRAMS
As there's a sign advertising an Automatic Defibrillator on site ...the site is publicly accessible, by law 🤔
ow! thats interesting!
he talks like a Darlek lol
Pretty sure another auditor previously walked along that public path and flew his drone from that public path
Hmm, I watch a lot of them and don't recall anyone having done this company before, otherwise I would have not done it
Always stay respectful to when a drone is involved in an audit . Give the matrix NO reason to restrict us
hopefully, I do!
Great interaction and video.
Greetings from a new subscriber from New Zealand.
Welcome aboard! and hello New Zealand!
It makes me laugh as in this day and age of tech just about any answer to any question can be found with that little knowledgeable computer hiding in your pocket that way you shouldn't be embarrassing yourself when stating something to someone especially on camera 😂
Up up and away in my balloon ❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
8/10 well done the security guard, very courteous. The manager should check the laws in the UK, we are not another state of America.
Its fairly obvious that he is a "YES MAN" in the company and yanks love that kind of shite. A good team player, I think they call it. The security chap was excellent.
Flying using first-person view (FPV). does this affect you when you use your drone alone, even if it is a sub 250
I think the company should send him over the pond see how that works for him.
How do people that thick get to be in the positions they're in! Having said that, I worked in local government for over twenty years and if that guy's an engineer, it comes as no surprise. I've come across some that think water runs uphill.
The CAA are looking at the use of drones for antagonistic purposes in the fixed penalty scheme.
There are what approx about 20 auditors in the UK that use a drone, if that. Then there are thousands of everyday drone users. Any changes are certainly nothing to do with this crowd. The changes are more for the police.
well said my friend!
What a load of twaddle.
@@stuartb4525the problem is that the police will use that as an excuse to describe every use of a drone that the property owners don't like as "antagonistic".
@@peterb2272 Yes as in everyone. But my point is a lot of people on where I saw the announcement, where blaming people like BP, when it's certainly not.
Do they have internal courts to deal with people who break their internal laws?
They have probably been told by 'America' that they can call the Cumbria State Troopers!
lol @ Lets go fly a "DRONE"
So the UK government creates laws for individual American companies, do they? 😂
apparently!
It's an American company, so what, we operate by British law. Who do these people think they are, thinking they can order people around just because.
Good to know that an American companies policy trumps UK law, NOT.
Top notch 👍
thank you
I have loaded there loads of times, the lads are always sound with us drivers.
Enjoyed your video & channel
I used to watch PJ but I find he’s got too many things going on in his personal life
I now only watch you & DJ Audits as your approach is similar to companies
Well done 👍🏻and I love the score board 😂
Much appreciated my friend
I agree about PJ. He seems to have gone off the boil quite noticeably and I find I can live without his videos, for a while at least. Good luck to him though.
That PJ lad was always awful, looked at 2 of his videos and had enough. UK meets the tyrants is the most entertaining
Oooooohhhh , I’m not sure what a drone is but I’m pretty certain it’s not allowed.
They may say they make doors, but you can be sure there is a lot more going on behind those closed doors.
It seemed a huge place to just make windows and doors!
You could see and hear him processing that made up law....literally, as he made it up! 🤣🤣 "I'm... Sure... There is.... A... Law?? An internal... Law..." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's what I thought!
Internal laws LOL
Orange hi vis guy looked intelligent.
