I'm so ready for MCC this Saturday! I still haven't decided who I'm going to watch live. Right now I think it'll probably be either Quackity or Dream and then watch Tommy's and Wilbur's VOD afterwards. But I can answer a few of your questions: What are the chickens? Each round, the game is voted on by the participants. Basically they throw an egg, and wherever the chicken ends up is the vote. There are a couple powerups as well. In this case, Dream's chicken got stuck and his vote for that round was void. The games? There are more than 8 games normally, so not all get played every time, but for this MCC they have announced that there will only be 8 games available, so all the available ones would be able to get played. Here they are: Sky Battle: Very similar to Skyblockle with some differences To get to the other side: Multiple rounds with different obstacle courses the faster you finish the more points you get. Parkour Tag: Play one round against each individual team. Each round one person hunts and the rest run, and the team you are matched with does the same. Finally, since MCC is kinda like the Super Bowl of the Minecraft World, you'll see a lot of people add things to show their support to whichever team. Like I see a lot of people right now cheering for the Red Rabbits (Tommy's team) by added red bunny ears to their profile picture. Explaining Sands of Time: It is essentially dungeon crawling, if you know what that means. Each team is on their own and whoever collects the most coins wins. Sand is collected to add more time on the timer for your team. If someone dies, you have to sacrifice sand in order to bring them back. So, at the end, when Dream died, they had no sand to sacrifice for him so he was stuck and didn't make it out of the dungeon in time, and thus stuck in the cage at the end and banked 0 points. There was one time a trap glitched, and Dream was permanently stuck inside due to the door being made of iron. This caused him to bank 0 points despite him not having died. He later said that he has had only two dreams about Minecraft, and a nightmare about getting stuck behind an iron door in sands of time was one of them. The people on the SMP tried to prank him later by getting him stuck there as well during a Prank War. One of the coolest things about MCC is seeing people who don't normally interact, interact. We see the Dream SMP, HermitCraft, PvPers, Speedrunners, etc all come together for one event. Brings the whole minecraft community together. Plus, it is a good way for Dream to scout new members. Remember Michael on this team? He is the newest member of the dsmp and was invited last week. CaptainPuffy? The reason Dream got to know her was through being on a team with her for MCC. Also, you know how Wilbur, Phil, Techno, and Tommy are called Sleepy Bois Inc? That also started through MCC. Tommy's "Just killed a woman, feeling good"? Also an MCC meme. Edit: You'll see a lot of people say that Dream's team will get third. This is because of what is known as the "Captain's curse" or CaptainSparklez's curse. Basically, Captain has never won an MCC, even though he has been in all 13 so far, and has the most third place finishes out of anyone, including in MCC13 where he was teamed with Dream. He was even teamed with Dream in MCC12 and they got fifth. Will they break the curse this MCC? Who knows... Hope this helps! Any questions let me know!

Just as a general piece of info, MCC is not an annual event. It actually used to be mostly monthly! They skipped a few months after MCC 13 in December, but there will likely be more to come this year :)
The eggs and chickens are kinda like a voting system.The game they play is based on how Many chickens are in one place. Thats why they are so frustrated when Dream's chicken Got stuck
For the chickens everyone basically has a egg and they have to throw the chickens at the game they want to play and I think the voting broke so they had to post a poll to see what people wanted them to play
I recommend watching MCC11 where Dream Team were together! It was crazy- like underdogs to winners since they had so many technical difficulties (dream had to afk a whole game) but still won!! Their Parkour warrior, Skybattle and Dodgebolt games were insane! Also they were dressed in Harry Potter Skins which is cute :)

Watching mcc for the first time might be confusing but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it, can't wait for this saturday, sad Techno's not competing but there is still alot of good teams to watch, I'm sure your gonna enjoy it

Ask around and you’ll find a lot of posts or videos explaining MCC to new viewers The chickens ARE important Between each game players throw eggs that spawn chickens to vote for whatever game they want to play The chickens count as votes and the game with the most chickens in its little slice on the wheel gets picked so it’s really strategic for the teams to pick specific games Since they’re mobs they can literally just walk away and that adds an element of randomness in the voting process During this time teams also get power ups that can change votes or sabotage teams 👍 The games switch every season so they had the same ten (I think) games to play MCCs 1-13 and MCC season 2 is introducing some new games that will be a surprise to the players and audience (it’s only been strongly hinted at on twitter idk) During the break (which is after like four games i don’t remember) viewers can vote for the next game on the official MCC twitter (remember to follow) Usually they just vote for whatever the most viewed creator wants to play (dream or techno) Finally the ninth and final game is the same every tournament First and second place team are placed in an arena and play essentially dodgeball with bows It’s best of five rounds Every other team which is about thirty two other players just stand outside and watch like a bunch of chumps It is the most intense part of every MCC This one here with Dream and techno was actually the closest dodge bolt match in prob a long time MCC is a for fun tournament There is no cash prize Just a bunch of block nerds playing the game with friends Winners get a physical novelty coin with the MCC logo on it and bragging rights There’s also a printable paper crown you can wear on their website :)
Edited: Something funny that Ranboo wants to do is a Twitter Space where he commentates on Tubbo's team; and the only reason he is doing it is because he thinks it's funny but good way to not take viewers out from the streamers since they have to watch Tubbo's team if not his perspective to understand what he is saying. A funny MCC was MCC 11 and watching Dream beat Parkour Warriors. The admins kept making this course more difficult so Dream wouldn't be able to beat it this causes them to do something to the course just as the event is ending. In Bingo But Fast, the goal is to obtain the items that are in the card faster than the other teams. The first 5 teams to obtain a certain item earns coins depending on how fast they obtained that item. If an item has been obtained by 5 teams, the next team to obtain that item does not earn coins for that. So basically, Bingo But Fast is like speedrunning (Yes, just like Dream).
i believe the games are the same every mcc, but the maps change. they posted a list of the 8 games in this mcc on their official twitter if u wanna check that out. as for voting, i think yeah the audience does vote, and its on twitter, so be sure to have it open during mcc.
just a heads up scott mentioned that not a lot of people will be allowed to stream for this mcc (hence why ranboo didn’t join this time around) so we don’t know who will be allowed to stream
That’s MCC15 not the one on Saturday. Since MCC15 is during Pride Month, they are making it into a joint charity event on a platform that isn’t twitch. Thus, everyone who is bound to exclusivity on Twitch, won’t be able to stream the event. Ranboo wants his first MCC streamed on his account, but since he is bound to Twitch, will not be in MCC15.
I recommend you watch the philza,wilbur/tommy/techno mcc through tommys perspective. In my opinion its a bit more entertaining and he also does better with the music
My favorite moment from this MCC was when Dream called George a "cracker" even though he was white. For context, when Dream and Techno won the tournament, the whole green team joined their vc and they argued about what place they would be in SoT if both Dream (pink team) and George (green team) didn't got locked in.
If you planned on watching technos mcc video with Tommy,Phil and Wilbur I recommend to rather watch Tommy’s video of it since techno is still there but in my opinion it’s more entertaining and more understandable and chaotic. Have a great day:)
MCC is the best minecraft tournament all the time. Chickens are using to votes for games. It was a monthly tournament. There were 13 of them, now it will be the fourteenth. I also recommend you to watch Minecraft Monday - it was the first minecraft tournament like this and Techno was killing it (he was in top 3 individual in every tournament). I highly recommend you "stabbing famous youtubers in minecraft" or "stabbing pewdiepie and james charles in minecraft" (or both of this videos because they are hilarious).
The chickens serve as votes for each game. It makes the voting section more fun because not only do you have to aim for the right game, your chicken might wander around into a different section and vote for a game you don't want
The games that given (battle box, TGTTOS, parkour warrior, survivor game, skyblocke, buildmart, hole in the walls, sand of time, bingo but fast, rocket spleef, ace race,grid runners, parkour tag) then in the end there will be top two teams face to face dodgeball/bolt each other to get the champion have to win at least 2 - 3 win rows at end if lose ones but the games will be the same every year and not to change every year but they will change the map theme like related to Christmas, Halloween, valentine and heck techno's birthday (If it make sense to you)
6:57 the games are always the same in the event each year but i think the maps change or something, george and punz and a lot of other streamers are streaming while practicing these maps right now on a private practice server for them

usually they vote what game they play by throwing eggs in the decision dome- not all games get played every event and the games played later in the event is worth more points. so the order of the games are very important. however this specific mcc (mcc 14) i special couse not all games are redy so we alredy know wich ones will get played. we just don't now the order.
so theres like 10+ games i forgot how many but its randomized so i think after the 5th or 6th game, new games are added on the decision dome and yes they vote on twitter but its highly influenced by the creators that have a large fanbase like dream and techno

Just as a general piece of info, MCC is not an annual event. It actually used to be mostly monthly! They skipped a few months after MCC 13 in December, but there will likely be more to come this year :)

I recommend watching MCC11 where Dream Team were together! It was crazy- like underdogs to winners since they had so many technical difficulties (dream had to afk a whole game) but still won!! Their Parkour warrior, Skybattle and Dodgebolt games were insane! Also they were dressed in Harry Potter Skins which is cute :)

of your new at this so MCC it's a game where you get to vote on which game you want depending on that game is you throw the egg which is the chicken and see what game you get and once you're done with the games you get points every time someone goes higher you get two people into a game that's called dodgeball it's where you should people with arrows to get them out every three rounds that you're trying to get the people out that means you win and you get a coin but if the other players get you out fully on the three then they get the coin and it's been going on for years sometimes they have events which we absolutely like they have the Halloween one, the Christmas one, The pride community one, Easter, sometimes birthdays, and also anniversaries the person who made MCC Scott Smajor gets to choose which team goes on and they get a specific color in the judges Noxcrew watch the team do their map that's MCC in a nutshell
Watching mcc for the first time might be confusing but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it, can't wait for this saturday, sad Techno's not competing but there is still alot of good teams to watch, I'm sure your gonna enjoy it
For this next MCC, I will watch Wilbur (I''m rooting for Pink Parrots, lol) and after everything is over I will watch Quackity's because he is funny and because MAYBE his team is going to win because they have Dream x'D (But Pink Parrots have Phil, so they still have a chance! Never give up hope!)

The chickens ARE important Between each game players throw eggs that spawn chickens to vote for whatever game they want to play The chickens count as votes and the game with the most chickens in its little slice on the wheel gets picked so it’s really strategic for the teams to pick specific games Since they’re mobs they can literally just walk away and that adds an element of randomness in the voting process During this time teams also get power ups that can change votes or sabotage teams 👍 The games switch every season so they had the same ten (I think) games to play MCCs 1-13 and MCC season 2 is introducing some new games that will be a surprise to the players and audience (it’s only been strongly hinted at on twitter idk)
During the break (which is after like four games i don’t remember) viewers can vote for the next game on the official MCC twitter (remember to follow) Usually they just vote for whatever the most viewed creator wants to play (dream or techno)
Finally the ninth and final game is the same every tournament First and second place team are placed in an arena and play essentially dodgeball with bows It’s best of five rounds Every other team which is about thirty two other players just stand outside and watch like a bunch of chumps It is the most intense part of every MCC This one here with Dream and techno was actually the closest dodge bolt match in prob a long time
MCC is a for fun tournament There is no cash prize Just a bunch of block nerds playing the game with friends Winners get a physical novelty coin with the MCC logo on it and bragging rights There’s also a printable paper crown you can wear on their website :)

Edited: Something funny that Ranboo wants to do is a Twitter Space where he commentates on Tubbo's team; and the only reason he is doing it is because he thinks it's funny but good way to not take viewers out from the streamers since they have to watch Tubbo's team if not his perspective to understand what he is saying.
A funny MCC was MCC 11 and watching Dream beat Parkour Warriors.
The admins kept making this course more difficult so Dream wouldn't be able to beat it this causes them to do something to the course just as the event is ending.

In Bingo But Fast, the goal is to obtain the items that are in the card faster than the other teams. The first 5 teams to obtain a certain item earns coins depending on how fast they obtained that item. If an item has been obtained by 5 teams, the next team to obtain that item does not earn coins for that. So basically, Bingo But Fast is like speedrunning (Yes, just like Dream).
i believe the games are the same every mcc, but the maps change. they posted a list of the 8 games in this mcc on their official twitter if u wanna check that out. as for voting, i think yeah the audience does vote, and its on twitter, so be sure to have it open during mcc.

That’s MCC15 not the one on Saturday. Since MCC15 is during Pride Month, they are making it into a joint charity event on a platform that isn’t twitch. Thus, everyone who is bound to exclusivity on Twitch, won’t be able to stream the event. Ranboo wants his first MCC streamed on his account, but since he is bound to Twitch, will not be in MCC15.
I recommend you watch the philza,wilbur/tommy/techno mcc through tommys perspective. In my opinion its a bit more entertaining and he also does better with the music

My favorite moment from this MCC was when Dream called George a "cracker" even though he was white.
For context, when Dream and Techno won the tournament, the whole green team joined their vc and they argued about what place they would be in SoT if both Dream (pink team) and George (green team) didn't got locked in.

If you planned on watching technos mcc video with Tommy,Phil and Wilbur I recommend to rather watch Tommy’s video of it since techno is still there but in my opinion it’s more entertaining and more understandable and chaotic. Have a great day:)

MCC is the best minecraft tournament all the time. Chickens are using to votes for games. It was a monthly tournament. There were 13 of them, now it will be the fourteenth.
I also recommend you to watch Minecraft Monday - it was the first minecraft tournament like this and Techno was killing it (he was in top 3 individual in every tournament). I highly recommend you "stabbing famous youtubers in minecraft" or "stabbing pewdiepie and james charles in minecraft" (or both of this videos because they are hilarious).

in MCC techno counts as 1 as there are very many S tier players, i mean illumina, hbomb, dream, sapnap, krtzy, pete, vikk, phil,.....

interesting fact: if sands of time points weren't split evenly among teams, Techno would've got 1st Individual in the entire event
The chickens serve as votes for each game. It makes the voting section more fun because not only do you have to aim for the right game, your chicken might wander around into a different section and vote for a game you don't want

The games that given (battle box, TGTTOS, parkour warrior, survivor game, skyblocke, buildmart, hole in the walls, sand of time, bingo but fast, rocket spleef, ace race,grid runners, parkour tag) then in the end there will be top two teams face to face dodgeball/bolt each other to get the champion have to win at least 2 - 3 win rows at end if lose ones but the games will be the same every year and not to change every year but they will change the map theme like related to Christmas, Halloween, valentine and heck techno's birthday

usually they vote what game they play by throwing eggs in the decision dome- not all games get played every event and the games played later in the event is worth more points. so the order of the games are very important. however this specific mcc (mcc 14) i special couse not all games are redy so we alredy know wich ones will get played. we just don't now the order.
