Because half the subreddit hates Riot for making them lose their games. The real reason is when you don't have experience in at least some type of music, you can't appreciate composition very well. Any musician, but especially those who play in ensembles, whether that be Orchestral, a Band, Acapella, as well as those who produce know how difficult it is to compose outside of the vocals, which are some of the easiest parts in terms of composition (just a single line melody). It's the underlying beats, the texture that different voices create when put together, counter melodies and harmonies, etc that make the music so good when paired with strong vocals, but so many people just don't have the ear for it. Most people only hear the melody, and the very basics of the beat and call it generic, but when you really dig into the composition, there's a ton that's very intriguing and very interesting, and sets a lot of their songs apart. This makes sense too, given that with their experience working with Champion themes, Riot's music artists are likely the most familiar with instrumental composition.
@VegaMK2 i ain´t from reddit but!!!!!!! I can only say what i am feeling and seeing as someone that has been following Riot Games and all their releases for over 8 years. The songs and videos they bring out are always good, but if you take their previous songs and videos as a standard the newer ones indeed do fall off. And feel mid in comparison (K/DA, Pentakill and True Damage). The same goes for Worlds songs, trying to rather fit the mainstream genre instead of making their Epic Worlds Songs that make you shiver and make you understand something epic is about to happen. Newer songs don´t have that feel anymore, albeit still being good. Same goes for their Band/Group songs. They are not really comparable to the previous ones in quality and since the Riot Game community has been fed with the Diamond spoon all this time a golden or silver spoon just isn´t enough anymore.

I love how when anyone describes the characters, they invariably reveal which guy they like the most because they highlight which one is the ‘handsome’ or ‘hot’ one.
I remember seeing a video a while back of the main guys from Riot all talking about how they loved music and wanted to be songwriters and producers, so they found a way to do it through their games, and they've been KILLING IT. I absolutely love this song and think they did so well composing it. The 2nd prechorus is probably my favorite because of the added snare pattern (and because of the suspense that those rising vocals creates), but a close 2nd is the bridge. I love the warbly underwater sound effect K'Sante has echoing behind his voice :)

Also his gun is 5 different guns and you have different combinations that I as an ADC main has given up on understanding, I just know red gun go BRRRRRR DJ: Yone VA: none In Game: Mid Assassin Basically one of the most infuriating characters to play against as an ADC because he will 100 to 0 you in 0.1 second.

Kayn and Ez killed it, the only really good part is the beginning until the first chorus. Sett and Ksant are quite expendable and there wasn't much emphasis on the voice from the best kpop vocalist, besides, the clip was very confusing. The music is good, but coming from Riot I found it weak. But that's what the people wanted, Rhaast rapping

In Game: Jungler, Assassin, Tank, one of the few characters with a mechanic where he switches mid-game, early game he’s “Base Kayn” with either ganks if played jungle or fights if played top, he gains “Orbs” from either ranged or melee characters, when reaching 100% on either he transforms into either Rhaast (tank form, who’s also his alter ego on stage in HeartSteel) or Shadow Assassin Kayn (basically lets fk over the ADC as fast as possible)

In Game: one of the strongest and most versatile ADCs. He has a dash spell which makes him versatile for a lot of situations as an ADC since he can “reposition” easily himself, he’s not an attack speed character and can’t deal with tanks easily but he’s amazing at poking and being annoying

In game: Tank
One of the best absorbing tanks, he’s a melee character and needs to get up close and personal to do things but if you get caught you better either kill him or get the fk away before he W’s

His entire job is either kill the opponent toplaner or neutralising them, he’s a strong 1v1 toplaner and almost, almost impossible to beat with a fighter

In game: ADC, one of the 200 years of game design characters when he came out first (alongside Sett tbh) he’s a strong team fight ADC who lacks any sort of mobility except forward. Also his gun is 5 different guns and you have different combinations that I as an ADC main has given up on understanding, I just know red gun go BRRRRRR

In Game: Mid Assassin
Basically one of the most infuriating characters to play against as an ADC because he will 100 to 0 you in 0.1 second.

I need to react to this one UA-cam mashup of KDA x heartsteel, it is geniunely better then most professional mashups I’m not kidding you’d go crazy for it’s composition
Kayn and Ez killed it, the only really good part is the beginning until the first chorus. Sett and Ksant are quite expendable and there wasn't much emphasis on the voice from the best kpop vocalist, besides, the clip was very confusing.
The music is good, but coming from Riot I found it weak.
But that's what the people wanted, Rhaast rapping
I was expecting Baekhyun high notes as well. The man's a beast vocally, they missed it.

Then just fyi, Sett's own is upside down😂😂 (Yone, Ezreal, K'Sante and Sett, Aphelios (who has a twin sister named Alune), and then Kayn (who has Rhaast as his alter ego in this skinline's universe)
