Just wanted to say how amazing it is that you two post these videos so consistently. I hope it is encouraging for you to know that listening to you two talk about books while I am going about my day or just reading along is so relaxing to me. 💓
Lauren and Amanda, hello there! I’m a brand new subscriber to your channel and I love your content so far! Found you through the UA-cam algorithm, and I already love your personalities! Can’t wait to see what you two have planned for the remainder of 2024 and beyond!
I love the way you both talk about books, we can actually see and hear that you are sharing something you enjoy so passionately with us❤can’t wait for more videos of yours
I just finished None of this is true, and it’s probably my top read of the year so far!!! I listened to the audiobook which was such a good experience!
I didn't know you could buy a second box in the same month. You learn something every day. I read along with the book club. It was really fun and I love the Abby book. She has quickly become my favorite romance author.
I watch and love all your videos! For Kristen Hannah I recommend The Great Alone, The Four Winds, or the most recent The Women. But Nightengale is my all time favorite which I know you’ve read. I love that Riley Sager book too but my favorite of his is Home Before Dark 5 stars for me. I got Just For The Summer for BOTM so I’ll be participating in your book club this month! Again thank you for your videos!! Great job
Just For the Summer may not hit as hard if you have not read Part of Your World. There are connected in a very deep way and wow! Five stars from me hope yall love it!
as much as i love pride a prejudice i could never get through the book, maybe one day.. do give it a watch though if you also give up on trying to read it 😂😂
I’m super excited that Amanda picked up Winter Garden! It’s one of my fave Kristin Hannah books. Can’t wait to hear her thoughts on it. Also I absolutely agree with The Only One Left. It’s my favorite of last year and the best Riley Sager I’ve read. He has a new book coming out in June that I’m excited to check out as well. I would love to hear Amanda’s thoughts on that if she picks it up.
A tip about Eight Perfect Murders, I heard a girl say that it will ruin the plots and gotchas of the famous stories the book goes over, the classics. So you haven’t and wanted to then I’d read any of the classics before starting Eight Perfect Murders. Just wanted to give you a heads up. I haven’t actually read it so anyone is free to correct what I’ve said if I have it wrong. I’m just passing along what I heard.
@@laurandareadsI googled and it says The A. B. C Murders, Strangers on a Train, The Red House Mystery, Malice Aforethought, Double Indemnity, The Drowner, The Secret History and Deathtrap.
Hello! It's great to hear you've taken up literal fiction reading. if you want some other reeds to find here's a few by Francine Rivers' "The Lady's Mine" and "Redeeming Love" are captivating reads. The former is a historical romance set on the California frontier, while the latter reimagines the biblical tale of Gomer and Hosea during the California Gold Rush. Jan Eliasberg's "Hannah's War" is another gripping historical novel about a female scientist's contributions to the atomic bomb in World War II. If you're exploring different genres, consider "To Kill a Mockingbird" for moving historical fiction, "Jane Eyre" for a gothic feminist narrative, "Animal Farm" for sharp political satire, "Fahrenheit 451" for thought-provoking dystopian sci-fi, and "The Lord of the Rings" for a legendary fantasy epic anyway. Happy reading! from your big fan !
What is the name of the place you go like once a year that has a huge sale? Is it a library or discount book store? I would be interested in going next time.

It’s not an actual book place but every year brenham hosts a community book sale at the warehouse next to the blue bell factory!
