Do an upgrade easy, just change the transformer to 3Amps but same output voltage, change rectifier diodes to 1N5401 and replace the LM317 with LM350T, they have the same pinout but LM350T can handle upto 3Amps.
I noticed that you have your terminals offset, a little. There is a notch and a tab on either side of them that you can use to slide them together to make them set more evenly and look like one connector. I got a bunch of these kits from a friend for $0.50 each. He got them at a pallet bin store. I've built 2 so far. 1 I didn't put the IC, the other LEDs nor the buzzer in it. The other one I put everything in except for the buzzer. I gave one to a friend that was wanting to learn how to solder, so we spent an hour or so putting them together so he could learn.
What do the pulses do? How is that used and for what purpose? Also it says can be used as a multimeter to measure voltage, is that true? Has anyone tried that?
I see you never clipped together the blue 2 pin and blue 4 pin sockets together too. That is why the 2 pin connector is on the skew, they suppose to be clipped together to make a straight 6 pin connector. I don't think the red LED should be coming on the same time as the blue. I have seen quite a few videos of this and only the blue and flashing yellow work and mine is the same too.
Thank you thank you thank you, I've bought the same unit, But its come with full on chinese writing and i haven't a clue, And now i have found this video there be lots of stopping, rewinding, screen grabs OH and lots of swearing,. But i do notice from the video that it's not a great performer. I'm actually wanting to build a toolbox power unit for all things good, Fishing, Camping, BBQ's etc etc. I bought a Bison battery box which came with usb port and cig port etc but i just dont feel its going to meet my needs. I need multiple outputs, various Inputs including the use of some small solar panels. Thank god for youtube :)
I'm sure its possible with the right circuit. But if you need a dual power supply, why not just use a Center Tapped Transformer and one of these: www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Shipping-LM317-LM337-precision-power-supply-kit-power-board-Electronic-Component/32664759882.html
Our Manuel we get with same kit from Abra for course I do is much better translated and diagram also the low to high install order of install on the PCB as well as what parts are classified low when seem otherwise and exception to rule for a component but yeah neat little thing
I bought a similar one but it was already assembled. It seemed to work fine until I apply a load and then the voltage just drops straight down. Any ideas of why and how to fix it?
How much current did the load draw? This kit can only output 2W if power, but if you replace the transformer/remove the rectifier diodes and power from an DC adapter, you'll get higher current, but not more than 1.5A, which is the limit of the LM317.
It works good to power things that would normally use a 9 volt battery. You can juice it up a bit as I did. I put a larger transformer in it that is rated at 12 volts .700 MAH and it works well. Doesn't get hot, however I doubt the board could handle 2.5 amps.
Nice review 👍 What is the use of the buzzer and the green led ? Thanks !

Why not LM338 for 5 amp continuous?
The board's traces may not handle the higher current.

You didn't explain the what the connectors do. I saw that you had it wire to + & - output, but what do the other 3 do? Just curious. Thanks!

I want to ask how it determines the output voltage thru the 7 segment display? I cant see it in the schematic
It's actually a self-contained little voltmeter, it has three leads, gnd,5v, and input voltage..

Drasys Italia sssssssssssss
Guys I need a power supply that can do -10V to +10V and I was wondering if it's easy or possible to implement a
switch-inverter into this?
I'm sure its possible with the right circuit. But if you need a dual power supply, why not just use a Center Tapped Transformer and one of these: www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Shipping-LM317-LM337-precision-power-supply-kit-power-board-Electronic-Component/32664759882.html

As I didn't do any electronics DYI work before: How dangerous is this, as this involves 220V, speaking of putting it wrong together or doing errors?
Its a low Amperage circuit, definitely not dangerous, shorting out Mains is obviously always a danger, but other than that. Easy peasy.
Sebastian Scholle Cheers!

Get better transformer

Can I use this to power a Raspberry Pi 3 board (about 5v, 2.5a)?
It is only for very basic hobby use. The 12V 300mA transformer will not likely be enough power for the RPi
It works good to power things that would normally use a 9 volt battery. You can juice it up a bit as I did. I put a larger transformer in it that is rated at 12 volts .700 MAH and it works well. Doesn't get hot, however I doubt the board could handle 2.5 amps.
the diodes limit it to ~1a
How much is the max. output voltage of the powersupply ?
12 volts and about 200ma. I have built two of them. I plan on installing a larger transformer to get 700 ma .
But in the video you go more than 12v.
I look for a cheap 30v power supply
You can buy a cheap power supply or build one yourself. My Idea of cheap is about $60 dollars US for a switching type supply.
The voltage shown over 12V is just under no load. On high load it can drop just under 12V
please send instruction with schema
What is the max voltage?
Max voltage is about 12.5V with small load. This is capped mainly by the transformer output.

i need this Circuit diagram and all require components List plss
wat is a kiy??
I'm sure that you will find good way to make it on Inplix Website.
Please make a very short video just showing the schematic but no introduction to it about 5-10s
I counted 42 x errrrm's.
How many did you count?
I only had 36. It was on the line for a few of them. Not sure if they were errrms or actual and's. That was kind of painful really LOL.
