I'm not sure how old you are or if you no the history of the areas around Norwalk. If not the city of Cerritos was originally the city of Dairy Valley. It was all dairies , strawberry fields and chicken ranchers. So I grew up with country kids. When I graduated from high school in 1970 . I wanted to join the military but a lot of my friends asked for me to wait a year so we could join on the buddy plan. I waited the year but they all had some excuses not to enter the military. So in February of 1972 I entered the army serving as a Military Policeman. While serving I was injured while performing my duties. I had a TBI Traumatic Brain Injury, had numerous body injuries and developed PTSD a mental health issue. Once I was discharged I became homeless from everything that happened while serving my Nation. I was able to finally see a therapist about my mental health issues and receive treatments for the last two and half years.Unfortunately the damage was done. All I have to look forward to is when I pass away. As the saying goes 'life is a bitch then you die' '.I lived the bitch side for the last 50 years now I only have to wait for the part that I die.
