- Welcome back to our channel! Today on Llama Life, Beau Baty explains how the llama business came about. Beau has used all kinds of livestock for hunting, fishing, and exploring the backcountry. When he finally bought his first two llamas off Craiglist in college, it was game over.
After many years, we now own the largest her of Ccara pack llamas in North America! Come along and see why it's so important to us to preserve the genetics of these magnificent animals!

Ahhh this brings back fond 4-H memories. I had a llama growing up! Her name was Mckaylla!
Yes 4-H. I would really like to get a 4-H group going. We are just surrounded in horses and cows so most people do that.

Beau... That is fantastic! Congratulations on your success so far and I hope it continues 10x more.
Thank you for the encouraging comment and support Eric. We will keep trying our best.
is it a profit?
What part of ND are you from? I live just outside of Fargo...love your story...its almost as if God had a plan for you when you were on your mission trip!
Thank you for the note here. I was in Williston and Watford mostly. Spent half a year in Crosby as well which I really enjoyed. I still think often of the Red Rooster burger joint. I look back now and think about how much God has directed my life. I feel blessed to be here and am grateful for the opportunities I have been given in life.
great info beau. Im really glad that randy got ya more well known and hope your biz thrives from that. I enjoy these videos and hope you continue the channel so I can learn more about them.
Thank you for the comments. Randy has been nothing short of amazing. We cant thank him enough. We will keep making videos as long as we have llamas I guess so that should be a long while. Thank you for watching them we really appreciate it.
I have really enjoyed learning more about how you started out and how you are so passionate about what you do! I served my mission in Chile from 2007-2009 right next door to you in Argentina!
Very cool Colter. Basically same time as myself. Thanks for sharing pal. Happy New Year to you.

Thanks John- You know all to well about the sleepless nights while in pursuit of a dream.
Kudos for what you and your wife do. There's a lot of rhyme and reason to it.
We sure enjoy it. Even the hard times seem not so bad.

We get that a lot from folks that spent time abroad. I speak Spanish and sometimes say it like we did in Argentina. Check it out "Shamas".
