To be honest the bottle is deceptive, one might think it’s masculine but it’s the opposite. It was a love on a first sniff.there’re some feminine sweetness in there

I blind bought these two Swiss Arabian just this year 2023, I Got the two reformulated version with no Arabic name on it. The Shaghaf Oud Aswad, is dense and heavy on my nose, The first initial spray is quite pungent and I smell like a new leather, But the dry down on my skin is sweet and the rose just comes out and it lasted for a day until I take a shower! The Shaghaf Oud gold, reminds me of Sheikh Al Shuyuk, Its Caramelly, leathery, smokey and balsamic. They are both georgeous but my favorite is the Gold Shaghaf Oud and Sheikh Al Shuyuk. I love your videos I don't regret blind buying these perfumes, for 24 euro each or less from the online shop. By the way I'm a beginner of oud fragrance. More power to you! and keep on posting! I really don't like it, synthetic mess, but adore Shaghaf oud
I just got this as a gift and on me it’s more leathery sweet and floral. It just has this luxurious smell

Hey May , the leather isn't super prominent it's just a hint of smooth leather . it over powered by the resinous oud vanilla and rose combo

I feel like shaghaf oud is a crowd too pleaser what is there not to love ! Try this first then Oud Aswad. They also smell amazing layered together ☺️💗

They repackaged the bottle (no arabic) and reformulated this. It’s terrible now. The incense is not there, it hardly performs , opening is synthetic cheap smell, it doesn’t really smell as good as they say . Don’t blind buy this based on old reviews because the fragrance has changed . Unless you get the old bottle before reformulation
However if you not used to high quality niche fragrances you won’t notice the difference , it will smell good to an inexperienced user, save the money and buy high quality fragrances they will never disappoint you . The hype on this not worth it .it is now a cheap fragrance, the price also compliments that
I would rather say save the money and buy “Arabian oud” fragrances, they don’t mess around their fragrances, they are priced good and they not cheap smell like this. This is one of those fragrances that got the hype on first batches and they mess it up because of greed , cut cost by reformulating the fragrance put overdose synthetic stuff remove the real stuff and see profit margins .
