I think it was a needed change. Hubert needed to get in, guys, that fits the style that he wants to play. We were in need of shooters to space the floor. We needed better shooting and to get more athletic in order to compete.

There was a hint on another podcast a few weeks ago that the reason that Carolina faded at the end of the football season was that the coaches that went to Wisconsin did not do the Due Dilligence thing preparation - wise, as they knew that they were leaving. The Georgia Tech game in particular was strangely flat, suggesting that something was wrong. Then there was the thing of "Our running game is not working so we are going to abandon it." One has to wonder if that had something to do with Longo leaving, as basically it was saying that his stuff was not working. Hopefully the new coaching staff has more chemistry, and that the running and passing games complement each other, and the offensive line problems can be fixed and hugely important is that the defense is effective as winning teams must play defense.

Kansas had 8 players transfer , it’s the nature of college b-ball now. UNC4L!

The program definitely needed a change. We've had a very similar group with a lot of the same guys for 4 years now, and, with the exception of last season's championship run, they have had little success. I'm also still in the camp that believes there were some real team chemistry issues this season that needed to be addressed. I do wish we could get more developmental pieces from the portal so we don't have so many graduates coming in for a year and leaving, but overall, I think it is a net positive.

Coaches set the culture...not the players.

7 players leaving your program is never a good thing so I’ll say too much! Hopefully moving forward we recruit and develop the players at a better rate!

I have a feeling that its becoming the normal now. Kids just dont want to commit or wait their turn. As most of UNC transfers hasnt got the playing or performed any better at their new school.

Yes puff was very inconsistent. Everyone loves puff and his effort but he never could take the next step and consistently give us that spark we needed

I hope these football predictions are off because 8 wins seems like a very disappointing season.
