When you are checking printers, check out the Epson Sublimation printers. They don't have the same issues as converted Epson printers. I have the F170 which is 8.5 wide and up to 47.24 in length. I've let it go for months without issues and it was powered off. it prints great no matter what the surface is. I now have also the F540 and its big. It also can go long time without being used. They do suggest leaving it on when no in use for the same reason as Sawgrass. You can even send print jobs into printer when you aren't at home if this is a concern and its powered on. The cost of ink is so low its not funny and last. Both of these printers use the same in. The main thing I want to say is that just because its an Epson, doesn't mean you'll have all of these issues or some of them. And the software for the F540 is amazing at what it'll all do. I have nothing against Epson, it just wasn't in my budget. I could have bought one but buying the ink would have been very costly going with Sawgrass. There are lots of videos on comparisons besides this on that will help in your decision process. I hope this helps

Hi Sherri I can try to help you with getting the colors corrected on your Sawgrass SG500. Here are a few steps you can try:
Calibrate your printer: Sawgrass printers come with a built-in color calibration tool that can be accessed from the printer driver. This tool can help you adjust the colors of your prints to match the colors of your original design.
Check your ink levels: Make sure that all of your ink cartridges are at least 25% full. If any of the cartridges are low, replace them with new ones.
Check your paper type: Different types of paper can affect the color of your prints. Make sure you are using the correct type of paper for your project and that it is loaded properly in the printer.
Check color settings in your software: Ensure that the color settings in your design software are set to the correct color profile. This can also affect the final print.
Check the print head: Clean the print head and make sure it is not clogged. If the print head is clogged, it can cause the colors to appear faded or uneven.

I have a sawgrass SG1000 l, I have use the cartridge it came with and I change it once with new cartridges. Unfortunately my waste ink basket is full. Why is this happening. Any help.

Yes, the ink is still there. It is just right in the printer. The first use of it will fill up the printer, taking more from cartridges. Next time it will be expected. You still have all this ink. It is just inside the printer - Agata

What's the difference from A&B ink
Hi Crystal. Will you do an update on inks? Amazon doesn't seem to have true Sawgrass ink. Also Sawgrass has a new ink. Chromablast, I think. Supposedly works on 100% cotton. Do you still recommend original Sawgrass ink? Will the new ink work with the DTF hacks?

Sublimation coating can be applied to certain types of mugs, such as ceramic or metal mugs, to make them receptive to sublimation ink. However, not all types of mugs are suitable for sublimation. It's important to check the compatibility of the mug with the sublimation coating and ink before attempting to sublimate on it.
Can I sublimate on anything with the spray? Metal, inside soda cans, glass plates, acrylic, stone?
Sublimation coating can be used on a wide variety of materials, including metal, glass, acrylic, and stone. However, not all materials will accept sublimation ink. It's important to check the compatibility of the material with the sublimation coating and ink before attempting to sublimate on it. Sublimating on the inside of soda cans is not recommended as the process may cause damage to the can and it is not safe to consume the drinks.
If it goes to the number of prints you can get from a set of sublimation inks will depend on several factors, including the size of the images you are printing, the type of material you are printing on, and the quality of the inks. Sawgrass inks are considered high-quality inks and are typically more expensive than other types of inks. However, they are also more vibrant and long-lasting. I have had prints setting in the draw for over a year and they still worked
I have had nothing but trouble with my Sawgrass 500. I cannot keep it on line, it has been over a year since I was last able to print anything. Also, I have searched and searched and searched and cannot figure out how to access Print Manager for maintenance.

Can you provide me with more information about the problem you are experiencing, such as error messages, or any troubleshooting steps you have already tried? Additionally, can you specify which operating system you are using and if you are connected to the printer via USB or network?

Hello about a year ago I purchased an epson ET-15000 for sublimation but without thinking I added the regular ink 😢 is there any way to empty it and add the sublimation ink? Thank you

I have a question I have an EPSON ECO Tank Printer and I got the Cosmo Ink. I haven't yet taken the Printer out of the box or the Cosmo Ink. I probably bought them a couple years ago. I just haven't taken the time to set it up and I haven't decided where I want to put it. Do you think the ink is still good? I work at a library full-time but I would like to start doing custom stuff but don't know where to start. I really don't want to start something if I'm not sure if it will sale. How do you get Cricut print on a full 8.5 x 11 I can’t mine to do it. I print in print and cut.
But it only allow small print
It could be your image is too small a resolution. Some things can't go big.
To print on a full 8.5 x 11 inch paper using a Cricut machine, you will need to adjust the settings in the Cricut Design Space software. Here are the steps you can follow:
Open Cricut Design Space and select the project you want to print on a full 8.5 x 11 inch paper.
Click on the "Make It" button to prepare the project for cutting or printing.
In the next screen, select "Advanced" from the top menu.
In the "Advanced" screen, you will see a "Print Area" option. Adjust the width and height to 8.5 x 11 inches.
Make sure that "Print and Cut" is selected, and then click on the "Continue" button to proceed with the printing process.

Can I use the hiipoo ink in the f170 epson printer
Hi there! I'm not sure about the compatibility between a Hiipoo ink cartridge, personally, and an Epson F170 printer. It's always best to consult the printer's documentation or contact the manufacturer to confirm if the Hiipoo ink cartridge is compatible with the Epson F170 printer. There are a lot of third party ink cartridges available in the market which claims to be compatible with the printer model, but it is not always true, using a third party or non-original ink can damage your printer and sometimes void the warranty. Are there any mention of the Epson in the product reviews? - Dawn 🙂
I wouldn't recommend using Hipoo Ink. it can void the warranty. And be careful when buying the bottles to refill your F170, some of them say compatible with Epson but they aren't Epson. The ICC profiles that Epson has set up may not work with other printers causing more issues. Epson's ink is great quality, no matter what you print it on and it last and is cost effective. When buying a sublimation printers you should compare the cost of everything when resupplying your ink, etc. And for ones like Sawgrass and Epson Sublimation printers, I'd go with what they are sold with and recommeded by the companies for each.

We bought 2 Epson ET-3760 One for printing & the other for sublimation. The sub printer got clogged up ( the "new" wore out & I stopped using it). A year later, I FINALLY got it going again. Now I run a print every other day or so. All good 👍
