If you allow the pedal travel to exceed the throttle adjustment screw at the engine you are going to constantly stretch the cable. That's why that bolt is there on the floor.
Great series and I can't wait to see more. I adjusted my foot pedal today, but I'm not even close to the bolt in the floor, so I'll check these items in the engine bay.
My 1140X doesn't have it's first oil change yet, with only 25 hours on it, but it will do it's rated 25MPH, and 27 down grade. After watching your optimization videos, that will be a fantastic upgrade to check once winter weather breaks. Also, I think adding a tachometer would be beneficial, seeing how much overspeed of rated RPM. What are your thoughts about that one?
@@SearlesStation Regarding throttle cable were you show how to eliminate slack, in my case there definitely is slack with cable, enough that I felt compelled to adjust it. Unfortunately Kubota may have caught on to your video, or I'm not doing it right, but when you turn the cable screw in to shorten slack, my cable bolt is all the way in already, so the only adjustment I have is going out, which is no help. You must of had plenty of inward adjustment with yours. Somehow I have figure out how to shorten entire cable assembly, or am I just dreaming there is a fix. Also did you install your own hand throttle?
When I go uphill, I have to back off on the foot pedal a little in order to get the best performance from the machine. If I press the pedal to the floor, it is worse. I have heard this from other RTV owners as well. How does that square with your example of wanting more RPMs in order for the machine to provide better performance? Perhaps something not set correctly on my machine???
Is this the final video ? I’ve done all things shown and I am only @ 23mph. 2021 x1140 250 hrs 1100 miles on 26x9x14 tweels on the front 26x11x14 on the rears. 2” bracket lift.
Yes sir. I’ve done it once at 100 hrs. I didn’t think it would change much on my Unit but I did it again yesterday just to make sure. I use an injector cleaner and anti gel formula in every tank made here locally .
So I'm old school too, and I'm wanting to know what your opinion of high rpm is for this engine. Mine shows 3150rpm at full throttle and 1450 at low idle. What is high? Kubota shows HP for this engine at 3600rpm. Is that the upper limit?
I could get it close. With or without the K-connect? Is there any other weight to consider? You'd need the hand throttle for sure and a little mod to some linkage

Done everything so far and has helped tremendously. Keep em coming!
Awesomeness!

The foot pedal stops before you get to the floor?
Awesome video once again, thank you.
My pleasure! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great video and modifications
😀

Absolutely! I'm still old-school and think a tach and oil, temp, hydro pressure/temp gages are important. Everything just has these dummy lights... 😒

Not done yet! I'll get more done this weekend. Thanks for watching! Have you cleaned out your spark arrestor in your muffler?
Yes sir. I’ve done it once at 100 hrs. I didn’t think it would change much on my

That's the point of highest horsepower. Not necessarily the highest rpm. My opinion is that it can do more.
Where is the hand throttle on the kubota , I have a 1120 diesel but have never looked for hand throttle.??
It's an optional kit. It gets installed on the left side of the driver seat where the differential lock is.
How fast do you think you can get this thing to go. Target is 35 mph flat road at least two people. thoughts? Thanks

How fast have you got it up to so far ?
