Husband and I watched in SW Ohio and got to see it all. We were both amazed; didn’t realize just how special it was going to be. But even in totality, it didn’t strike me as that dark. Looked more like that green tinge that shows up right before a big thunderstorm. Be careful out there! 💕
I live right on I-70 halfway between Indy and St Louis and we got to experience 2.5 minutes of totality. Worth the HYPE! Kids here got the whole day off.
I think kids across Indiana got I live down in Evansville and they were out of school here and we had the full totality here it was cool looking at it with no glasses

During the eclipse it was dark for a brief time around three minutes. My yard lights came on During the dark period. Looking at the sun was amazing During the dark period. The photos I took didn't really show the amazing beauty.

I looked at the eclipse with the glasses on and when the moon covered the sun you could see the letters,FJB on the moon.pretty cool.

I was about 20 miles south of St. Elmo at my uncle's farm. Had totality for 2 minutes. Got dark enough to turn on the Mercury light. Was really cool.😊
