If moisture gets in spark plug hole it can ground out coil pack then burn it up. Happened on 2 of a buddies coil packs. Testing with ohm meter takes the guess work out.
Use ohm meter to test coil pack. If it test good pull and reinstall coil pack. Sometimes they don't make good connection. I had to put a washer on 2 of mine.

So did it end up being the coil pack?
Nope, never got it figured out as of yet. Weird as it was only on colder morning it would misfire and it would only last about a minute
@AGuyandHisProjects Maybe a lash adjuster not getting enough oil due to the cold and not seeting a valve all the way?
What was the problem?
