At one point I was listening to this in the background and couldn’t tell if Bobby was transforming the legs or making it do the hokey pokey. Like, go back to the leg section, close your eyes, and tell me it doesn’t sound like he’s about to puppet the hokey pokey.
I'm not too into the toy repaints but if I had to get into any, these would be it. They all look really cool and different enough from the original releases. ....also wouldn't mind that MP36+.
what x transbots is doing with stunticons is very interesting, cartoons, g2, and toy version. I'd take them all but at the moment I'm with FT and I can't afford them. Thanks Bobby!
Nope, wrong. That's not how you're supposed to say it. You're supposed to say, "Top of the morning good sir, I am well and am fit to go in a moments notice. Indubitably! I must say that I as well wish to hear of your well being. Care for some tea?"
In the Lone Star state, y'all open carry and people are sweet as pie to each other. Crazy how that works, you see a firearm and people's demeanor tends to change pretty quickly.
@@mark4flair376 - Some open carry. But a lot more concealed carry. You don't know who is. And that's the way it should be. Be polite, whether you know they're packing or not. Because they probably are, anyway. It IS Texas!
I think these look awesome. I'm a toy accuracy guy (and the Stunticons were also my favorite team) so I may be biased, but maybe third party can cater to that niche since Takara has largely abandoned it.
I fondly remember the dark metallic maroon and diecast silver heft of this unit back in the day. It was like an oversized Hot Wheels car. Now this has gotten me to thinking about having a real life pistol recoated in the same colorway. Talk about your rich maroon and metal weightiness!
in that guy's defense, i was very confused why the head sculpt looked different from what i am used to and it made sense when you brought up that it's supposed to look like the original toy and not the cartoon
I went with xTB stunticons and don’t double dip, BUT Dead End was the only one I had as a toy so he’s my favorite too so I really, really want this...but we all know what happens if I get one....
Great review. Love the look of these toy versions. Now to you mentioning about having to specify word use and language like for that one dude, I've been noticing a growing trend towards lowered/lack of comprehension skills in our language (both verbal and textual) in our society. It seems that people are not grasping context clues in modern society as much as they used to do. People seem to need greater context or specific wording compared to even a decade ago. Might just be me, but I've noticed it happening more and more.
I think it is a shift in cultural context to some words that give the illusion of less meaning, while in reality we are in such a hyper connected society now that it's easy to miss all these changes because you're not connected to the right parts of the internet to understand the new context.
I wonder how Motormaster will be for this G1 toy version set. The Motormaster toy was kind of ugly and it definitely include the trailer and cab, since the body was the trailer and the feet were the cab. Anyway, I like this version of Dead end. Thanks for the video, sir!
I love hearing your glee in reviewing this carbot
Wow, look at Bobby being excited about something from XTB.
Go back 3 years ago, and it would be a completely different story.
At one point I was listening to this in the background and couldn’t tell if Bobby was transforming the legs or making it do the hokey pokey.

The head sculpt is a Kung Fu chop to the nostalgia plexus!
They actually look like different toys. XTB puts more work into these repaints than Takara/Hasbro ever did :D
Cause they're focused on making solid products and not pleasing investors
I'm not a big toy accuracy MP guy but that gives me a ton of nostalgia.
I'm not too into the toy repaints but if I had to get into any, these would be it. They all look really cool and different enough from the original releases.

This is the deco I want.
I've needed Toyhax to do a stripe for the original release since it came out. Seeing this just makes me want it more.
Great review- love the end with a toss of the spoiler! Paradigm Skullface. Thanks
Definitely a nice figure. Imo I think the X-transbots is the one to have in combine mode or Altmode. As always great review!
Awesome vid! Dead End is one of my faves!

they also did a blue dragstrip lol
"I'm straight" is what you say to a fellow Baltimorian when you're on a downtown corner and they ask you "you good man, you all set?"
Im from Chi-Town, Same🤣
In Texas, we just mean mug you back, then pass on by. Probably give you the evil eye over the shoulder, just for good measure.

Not in on this set,but I might pick up this figure just for the hell of it. Makes me nostalgic that's for sure.
So excited for the remaining two. I can't wait to see how they are going to make Motomaster look toy accurate, that is going to be nuts!
I love what they did with it, especially the stripe.

Thanks Bobby. Dead End is my fave. Great voice acting too.

I think people are just lazy honestly.

I wasn't able to get the first version of this guy, but I honestly think his design is cooler (except maybe the face from the cartoon)
I honestly wish the g2 versions of these guys used the toy version toolings, I prefer them to the animation accurate molds
Now that's a good lookin alt mode.
These G1Toy classic looks are not for me but it looks like a good TF figure. Thanks for the review Mr. Skullface
I am honestly bummed that I got the normal versions instead of these toy versions. Sad about that, these look nice.
Funny thing, I broke down sold my basic figs back and picked up the Youth versions. Had to eat some $$ but, its worth it.
I wonder how Motormaster will be for this G1 toy version set. The Motormaster toy was kind of ugly and it definitely include the trailer and cab, since the body was the trailer and the feet were the cab. Anyway, I like this version of Dead end. Thanks for the video, sir!
It's gotta be tampographed right?
Ohh man, looks like a deadman Walking - but G1 cool or whatever
I snapped the hip on my toon copy while trying to transform it...man, that scarred me mentally. 😅
4:24, I suspect Bobby's starting to miss doing skits.
Looks nice but the complex transformations always kinda scare me away from buying some of the transformer figures
Looks like Xbotz bumped up their game.
Bobby mang, you always say Dead End is your favorite - but just wondering why? First one? I don't think he had much of a personality in the 'toon.
Thank Booby for the awesome reviews, as per usual? Do you like yur new name?
"How are you doing?"
"I'm straight."
"Him, okay... I didn't asked you your sexual orientation, I asked you how you were doing..."
straight is slang for good, get out more
straight as opposed to bent as in bent out of shape, or how you end up when you go on a bender.
cool and nice
SO glad I didn't go all in on xtransbots now. DX9 has the coolest Menasor in my opinion. I really don't like the look or size of these.
This doesn’t look like the G1 cartoon at all. Is this spose to be based on the toy? Maybe be more specific about that 😂
Alex Turner read the title of the video my guy haha
