Good morning from Lehigh Acres Florida
Hello 👋
Good morning Tiffany, I love that panel,my husband loves the truck .
Ooh I need that T-shirt.. love watching you thank you
This is my first time watching you. You have entertained me & gave me a few pointers. I’m looking forward to watching some of you other videos!
Awesome! Thank you!
Glad to see you get your mojo back…great instructional, this was very helpful…
Thank you for showing us how to make a panel quilt quickly ❤
You are so welcome!
Great to see you got your sewing mojo back. This was perfect to show how quickly a panel quilt can be done..
Thank you! 😊
Enjoyed very much.
My method of straightening those pesky wonky panels is to thoroughly wet it , pull & pin it like you are doing, then I iron it dry after it is aligned. The printing process is the culprit. Hope this helps a bit.
I soak them if they are worse than this one was. But there is many ways. Most times I spritz them and stretch and then pin and stretch till it's good.
Thanks Tiffy, for guiding us in how to straighten those wonky panels. Great demo and advice with the cutting and piecing. 🥰🇦🇺
Deb Strain the designer of the fabric you were looking for.
I have been watching for quite some time on my TV while I recoup. Thanks for all you do.
Awesome you make it look so easy and your not short everyone else is tall .Thank you so much.
Thank you, that was therapeutic.❤️🎄
I love it.
I love it love it love it
Oh my gosh I have two of those panels
Love your T-shirt. Beautiful quilt! You are a great teacher, fun to watch. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much!
Beautiful work as usual. Love this quilt
Hi everyone, from Ontario.
Hello 👋
Thank you Tiffany for showing how to stretch the panel. I have several gifted to me and have not done them. Now I am ready to try.
Go for it.
Hi good to see you I just wanted to know where you got that table I need one thank you love the panel video
My table is a used office desk from an insurance office that closed down. So it's 36x72 and can be sat on both sides.
Odds are the fabric stretches slightly wonky whirl the panel runs through the printing process, so the print is off grain right from the beginning.
Ya it's many different factors. But they make for great quick quilts 😉
❤😂
I used to enjoy doing panels but cannot find them anymore.
I find them online. Lots of fabric lines have a panel that would go with the line. Also quilt shops typically have panels displayed and packaged so they don't have to cut them right then and there.
Tree and trucks home grown by Deb Strain
Have you ever made a clam shell quilt?
Nope, that is one I haven't done yet.
DEB STRAIN
I have panels and i am a beginner, this seems too complicated to get it right. I'm intimidated😮. Maybe when i get more experience😊
No panels are great and relatively easy. And gd for beginners too. And they are relatively inexpensive.
You can do it!
Only thing is the outer white seems to make the beautiful panels disappear. Too much white. But I do love the print.
It is beautiful but looks like wall paper with a large hanging picture.
.87 is ⅞".
I’ve used a lot of panels over the years and never noticed the wonkiness. Which means that I’ve scattered wonky quilts all over the place! Opps!
Haha ❤️
Love how you did this panel. Beautiful work🥰
(Jayne) Thanks, I'm currently working on a panel quilt and found u had alot of good tips.
I have done quite a few Christmas and baby panels.
LOVE,LOVE,LOVE this quilt! Great job as always♥
This video is right on target. I have a Christmas panel that is going to be my backing on my first Christmas quilt. Thanks, enjoy your videos.
I have so many Christmas panels and never thought about using them for backing. A reversible quilt! What a great idea!
Thanks for explaining how to get the panel to be ASAP( as square as possible) before adding borders! It will help me on my next one!! My sewjo is better now too! So Thanks!!
You're welcome!

You are inspiring me, Tiffany! Try pulling more on the bias.
I tugged on it quite a bit after spraying it with water. It helped before I cut it finally

Deb Strain for Moda, her Homegrown Hoilday 2020. Thank you for the tips on how to straighten a Quilt panel, something I’ve always struggled with, and ideas for borders.
Girl thank you, you made laugh
I remember in home economics class way back when we were told to stretch out opposite corners to straighten out wonky fabric and also to snip end and rip….good job….first time watching from suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio
There is a video 6 years ago from Hoffman fabric. It is called Squaring up Hoffman fabrics panels. They explain how it goes on the bolt causes the panels to be wonky on the bolt.
Thanks 😊
Hello from Oklahoma
Hello there!
Agree with Margie, the green with fir trees and small red cars is likely to be Deb Strain - she designs for Moda and often does Xmas ranges.
Enjoyed your video. You make me laugh. That’s how everyone should be. Love you
You made my night ❤😊❤❤❤
I'm so glad!
I have tried working with panels a few times and am frustrated with the wonky designs. Thank you for the advice
Glad to help
Wow! Great job Tiffany.
Thank you for making it look easy and fun.
Deb Strain
I do my boarders the same way much easier for me.
I wonder if dousing it with starch would help. I might try that sometime
That or just water works too.
The wonky panel made me think about when I was a kid in the ‘50’s and ‘60’s. Often the yardage would not be square. My Mom and sisters would grab opposite corners and tug then check to see how much was straightened. This would be done several times until it was straight then the cloth could be used.
I had some vintage fabric that has been wonky before. I really takes work to straighten up 😉
Great FAST Quilt Tif❣
LOVE IT❣
Thanks so much!
I always go to JoAnns Store. I Love it there, especially when they have Sales plus my Coupons
I think you just needed a break from quilting and maybe a little Christmas to bring you back .
Just trimming that heavy salvage helps to square up an off printed pattern. Love your tutorials!
I love what is on your shirt
Tiffany! Love this! You have a great attitude! Thank you for sharing and happy for you to have your sew jo back!❣❣
Enjoyed this episode, glad you have your sew Jo back, have a great day.
I have the same panel, now I know what to do with it. Thank you.
Great 😊
I truly appreciate how you showed us to correct when wonky. You are appreciated!😊
Such a happy Christmas quilt. I like your straightforward instructions!🎄🎄🎄
The pine trees with the little red trucks is from Deb Strain
Very pretty panel.
Tiffany, I just love you. When I watch you it feels like I’m just visiting while always learning so much. You are definitely one of my favorites ! Merry Christmas!
I practice 'no rules' on all my borders and have never had a problem. I've been doing that for many years. Glad you got your sew job back.
Most enjoyable video. I am glad to see you smiling and laughing. The panel worked out wonderfully; I love the trucks. Are you going to use it or possibly sell it? 🎶💐💖
It will go in my sale or auction pile.
This ismy first time watching. I am in Omaha, Nebraska.
That quilt top is absolutely stunning.
Hello 👋 and Welcome 😊
I love your videos. You make me laugh lol and you know your stuff
Thank you, I have this panel and wondered how to make square
I have a Brother HC1850. I made my grate nephew a Batman quilt. I can’t get my machine to sew the border. My tread brakes. I wanted him to have it for his birthday Dec 24 which is Christmas Eve. Any suggestions? Will be greatly appreciated. I even tried sewing it by hand but it’s to thick. It’s hard to push the needle through. Help please. Lill Justin has saw me sewing on it he loves it. Please help me!
Is it quilted already? Cause 2 layers of border fabric should sew together nicely. I would suggest changing your needle and re running the thread through the path. If it's already quilted and thick from that, then I suggest if you can lift your pressure foot with a gage if your machine has it to do that. If not, then try a walking foot.
It's beautiful.
Thats so awesome! Thanks for the stretching tip, I would have been going, what? LOL I have several panels, now I will try to make a quilt!
You can do it!
I want to be like you when I grow up. Haha Haha I'm 66 do you think I need to wait awhile? I just love watching you you are an inspiration and the work you do is beautiful. Thanks Tiffany 😂
Go for it! Have fun! Make lots of amazing projects! 😊
It’s gorgeous ❤🎉
Thanks so much tiffany. I've had that panel now since last year and was wondering what I wanted to do with my borders and this gives me a very good start. I love it!!!
Beautiful!!! New subscriber here. 😍🤩
You have a lot of videos so thought it would be easier to ask. Have you done a review or tutorial of your Juki sewing machine? Never mind 😂 found it!!!
Yup lol 😆 you found it 🤣
After I pin the panel borders I mist the panel lightly with water and then use my fingers to smooth the panel until it is square. The fabric relaxes enough to change the shape of the fabric. When I then iron it the panel will remain square. It always works and takes far less time and effort to get the panel square.
I used water after I gave up and stretched it into shape as best as I could. Most I can fold pin and square nicely. This one was not working as planned haha
oh, i have the little trucks fabric by Deb Strain..home grown holidays... this is beautiful ty for the tutorial
That's cool 😊
It is gorgeous, I may give a panel a chance 😂
I'm going to loosen the strick rules taught to me. And take a big breath 🫁 to relax. I feel my mojo coming back. 🎉
Awesome 😊
That little green tree print is Deb Strain's! What a find!
Very pretty!
