What a fight 👏😳
Love the videos, mate.
Underrated comment
Rodtang is the best
Epic
Btw love it channel Shane. It's been a great help (esp for a guy who can't afford professional instructors).
Judges in Japan have always been bias against Thai fighters...been like this for decades
Homeland advantage is almost everywhere, Thailand, UK, USA, Japan, Brazil, Australia etc. If you're fighting in your opponent country you know you will probably lose the decision or maybe a draw if you really dominated.
Agree! bulshit! there is no point tenshin can win this fight
Rodtang is a cambodian
I believe if the fight had 1 more round, Rodtang would have been to dazed to continue
Rodtang might look like the winner because he just kept on moving forward but you noticed, most of his kicks or punches were either blocked by Tenshin or plainly missed his target. On the other hand, most of Tenshin's punches and some of his knees and kicks hit Rodtang mostly on his face. That's where all the points come from. Watch it again.
i don’t see any robbery, i know Rodtang but never heard of Tenshin. So far it was the crafty Japanese guy who landed a lot of accurate punches, and Rodtang was blocking them using his face. Amazingly he doesn't appear to be hurting at all as he yells while charging forward taking more punches. Which captured the hearts of many spectators with awe like they are watching some sort of spectacle. But since nobody got knocked out, in the end the deciding factor in the scorecards would be the number of clean hits landed. Technically it was Tenshin who did, no matter how terrific Rodtang's fighting style was
Exactly. I know both and admire them both a lot. I see Rodtang as like a megatank/bulletproof. I see Tenshin as like a rogue/assasin, just very agile, accurate and fast. In this match, Tenshin obviously realized Rodtang is impossible to KO. So he 'Mayweathered' with him and won on points. So in short, technically Tenshin won but in the eyes of many Rodtang won. In the end, the technical is what will be remembered...
Right observation
You're right bro, i don't know why so much people are saying that rodtang won
What about all those leg kicks and body kicks tensing ate.
Finally some sensible comment. I dont know why people call this robbery.
Well, lets have a rematch with clinch and elbow in Bangkok.
Well lets have a rematch in bangkok with takedowns and submission
Have a rematch in America, in the MMA cage. So it'll be fair enough maybe.
And then have a rematch in boxing rules.. Your thai won't be able to see anything for a month after match.
Could not agree with U more
Let's have a rematch. This time No punch, kicks, elbows, knees, takedowns or submissions. Just plain Tetris match.
12:02 when red haired guy realized this Muay Thai fighter is not human.
knee to face at 3:27 still standing what

Hell ya.. But good chin can't make you win the fight.. You need to punch and kick..tenshin landed almost all of his punches and kicks

i bet that japanese kid to fight with Rodtang nowadays, Rodtang completely turned into a beast , check out in One Champion
No matter how many times i watch this, it's amazing to see how this bastard rodtang seem to almost never take any damage LOL
They should put Tenshin in one championship. See how long he lasts.
JoJo Mayerfan facts
My initial thoughts as soon as I watched this fight.
They won't tenshin is their money cow. They will protect him until someone gets a lucky punch and knocks him out.
JoJo Mayerfan rodtang is the best of the best but tenshin him give him a real good fight he’s a good fighter he would do good on one fc in kickboxing I recon
@@shaunfacey7077 ikr too many haters of Tenshin. They don't know this man was undefeated for years very dangerous fighter
That Thai fighter was a beast... looked like he can go few more rounds .... definite robbery, Thai fighter won this.
agreed
Thai Fighter lost, he doesn't know how to protect his face 😅😅
Pheakdey Seng in karate they score backpedalling more? 🤣
In Muay Thai, if your opponent attacks you but you do not show any reaction, that is NOT a power shot. But, if you attack your opponent and he shows a visible reaction (such as flinching) this will score to your favor. Although tenshi hit the thai a few times in head, the score wouldn’t favour him.
You can't be a walking punching bag and win the fight because you are aggressive. Tenshin had countless clean head shots, kept Rottang off balance the entire fight.
In Rise, significant strikes count more than who waas more aggresive. Rodtang kept coming forward, but hardly had any significant strikes (Tenshin is known for his amazing defense). On the other hand, Tenshin had so many significant strikes but Rodtang's chin was beyond godly.
doesnt matter if rodtang is indestructible, its still a point system lol
@@torontodough2755 in this point system kicks count more tenshin was just punching
Tenshin shake his head after heard the result. I think he must be disapointed with the decision. He won the match but I don't think he feel like it.
Im a girl rider lol
Salty people. Tenshin has more strikes and points. Fights not judged by how much energy a fighter has at the end of a fight either. Tenshin wasn’t as good as he is now and didn’t have as much power. If they rematch tenshin wins with a more clear victory.
Nasukawa hit him with everything he had and the Thai just kept moving forward. Looked like he could fight another 5 rounds at the end of the fight whereas Nasukawa was completely spent. The Thai fighter won easily. Huge robbery.
Yes obviously robbery. This video title should change to "rodtang robbery in japan against tenshin"
D No if that this guy was a boxer he could be come Europe champion surely he has energy and a good Chen boxers would get tired 😓 he would be drain out any boxers he not going down and he is very strong 💪
Tenshin landed more punches. The game is offense and defense, Ok. the Thai Fighter was the aggressor but got outpointed. Most of the people get fooled by the antics of the Thai Fighter. Yes he looked more fresh at the end but that's not how you judge a Fight.
Do you have shit in your eyes?
If u r blind don't comment it's fair played won by Tenshin
Let’s look at Tenshin’s facial expression when he won the match. Tenshin knew he didn’t win the fight.
💯💯
Yup. He look defeated even after the fight. Rodtang was celebrating while tenshin bent over in his corner from the punishment he took
its a point system so by points he won thats al
Naaa, tenshin was far superior in all ways, when the judges said “draw” tenshin couldn’t believe it, he smacked the other fighter face. Tenshin connected more punches and kicks. You just don’t know nothing
@@tomaztodonte14 Muay Thai has a completely different point system than boxing and MMA. If it was scored like a boxing match, then yes, Tenshin won. But by Muay Thai standards he completely lost. Go read them and then re-watch that fight. It's obvious Rodtang won.
Shouldn't have been a draw to begin with, and that ridiculous grappling/acrobatics display Tenshin used to finish out the match should have had it thrown out in favor of a round 7.
Thai fighter can only win with KO In japan
K.O.C WengShen what rodtangs did that tenshin didn’t? Cause tenshin just smacked rodtangs face 🧐

Can't agree more... extreme biases are evident in Japan professional fights scenes..I have watched hundreds of fights from buakaw to other thai fighters fight with Japanese fighters... shame on Japan..
@PROJECTMAYHEM GAMING Do you have any videos?
Obvious on points who won. Tenshin definitely had more clean shots and tripped the “ robot “many times. Robot is just pure endurance but lost hands down on skills .
Tenshin lost on the original scorecards. They went to an extra round because at least 2 judges had to pick a winner to end the fight, whereas 1 gave it to Rodtang and 2 were undecided/draw. But the original decision was in favor of Rodtang technically.
12:28 was not a low blow, right to body. that was a gut wrenching knee
Indeed, that's not very honest of him..
I paused right when Rodtang kneed, he kneed the body but his foot hit Tenshins cup. Wasn’t a powerful low blow though .
Watch all his fights ..that guy tenshin is a sneaky fella with full of pretence .. obviously his balls wasn't kicked .. pretentious fella with sneaking around pattern in all his fights
Tiger knee!
when you start losing a fight you think you will win you do things like that.
Tenshin was way more technical in this fight. He was landing more accurate hits, Rodtang was constantly kicking with the same right leg the entire fight, most of which Tenshin kept blocking. Rodtang was then throwing wild combos out of frustration after Tenshin continued to block his right leg kick over and over. Most of the time Rodtang would throw the right kick, Tenshin would block it and immediately follow with a counter punch to the face. Rodtang's signature Teep kick was also being repeatedly caught and trapped by Tenshin, so it was ineffective where it usually dominates. Tenshin won this by the numbers. Rodtang is a beast, no doubt, but he went up against a technical genius and lost fair and square.
Agreed
Disagree, could argue Tenshin was more flashy athletic skilled but Rotang had a much more efficient fighting style in defense and offense..
Technical is synonymous efficiency, Rotang was wearing him down.. which is why he was mad when Tenshin faked the low blow to buy recovery time
@@rrpearsall so who landed more shots and who missed more shots? You just contradicted your self with your efficiency statement. Tanking shots in hoping your opponent tires out isn't efficient
Don't leave it to the hands of the judges, especially on foreign soil. Although this was a kickboxing match and not a muay Thai match. Meaning the fight wasn't scored on how a muay Thai fight would of been.
What makes you think Tenshin's tactics wont adapt with whatever rules are set?
@@daniellombard2329 I swear to god everyone who thinks this was a robbery is stupid. All rodtang did throughout the fight was push constanly and eat 2 punches for every roundhouse he threw.
Thai fighters are slow starters after round 2 rodtang mopped the floor with him he walked him down controlled the ring most of tenshins punches flew past his head after round 2 rodtang was landing big kicks and knees and chucking him around whilst landed hands of his own don’t forget. Was a different rule set but rodtang controlled the whole fight landed the more effective shots landed more shots probably. He got trampled for crying out loud tenshin got shown😂
@@rexhinaldcuke4146 I'm honestly stunned at how stupid this entire comment section is. Tenshin must have punched Rodtang clean in the face about 200 times and Rodtang probably hit him clean about 4 times.
@@joshcooper5237 I know in Boxing controlling the ring and coming forward is what judges look for but idk in Kickboxing...same thing with "effective shots" thats a boxing thing that judges will take into account when a match is close. I think the Japanese fighter landed more shots...he had a jab that was landing clean all fight.
1 - 2 rounds for tenshin, 3 4 5 extra for rodtang
Rodtang let him win the first two rounds it's a Thai thing
@@manbat106 That doesn't make any sense. Then what happens when two Thai fighters go against one another? Do they sit down and try to help to each other win?
@@kieranrankie203 No they spend the first round testing each other out second round for high betting and 3rd round they go all out
@@manbat106 But it doesn't matter because the other fighters will go all out from the start and Tenshin still won the first 2 rounds. I think Rodtang is an amazing fighter, but in the end he had the advantage due to superior stamina. If the fight had been 3-4 rounds it would be 50-50. Still great fight from both of them. What other non-Thai fighters have been able to go toe-to-toe with the Iron Man?
@@kieranrankie203 If you ignore around 1-5, just that awful display Tenshin put on for the extra round should have gotten him disqualified. He spent more time grappling than fighting, and right when Rodtang was about to open up on the exchange, Tenshin would throw that stupid cartwheel flip to put himself on the mat after his onrush. If that fight had stayed on it's feet Rodtang would have steamrolled him. And even despite all the shenanigans Rodtang still dominated that final round.
Japanese do this to thai fighters everytime, robbed
Abdullah Danish Really hate those sides of Japan.
Abdulah you shall used your head to judge this fight, Rodtank he kick bellow belt two times it is a dirty tricks that the Thai used to weakening their opponents,. Right, and Tenshin blocked most kicks, rights, looked Tenshin he landed on targets most of times, rights, it is Tenshin is a clear winner..
But Japanese have Money. I’m ties.
In defense of tenshin,
He didnt look like he thought that the victory was deserved either lol
that's the reason, there is a lot of Japanese kick boxers won the titles only in Japan. and they don't go overseas to fight at other event. most stupid thing is that there is Rizin, K1 Rise etc in Japan,,, but K1 fighters are not allowed to entry the other organizations unless they finish the contract of K1. it's a joke
Rottang great strength and Stamina and can absorb so much , he still has much energy and "IF" it went the distance he probably would win.
Tenshin - Clearly the better striker and accurate fighter - Technically better than Rottang, Tenshin landed a ton more shots, on a points/hits scale Tenshin wins .
Both worthy of winning and it was a very close match to the wire. I don't think there was a robbery. Just too many high emotions.
Agree - Rottang is clearly outclassed here and fought with only his willpower. Not sure why this is even a controversial match , he straight up lost
@les It was a KICKBOXING match and Tenshin scored more in every round. Even in the round when he seemed to be tired, Rottang was more active and powerful, but he didn't score that much. Kicks and punches in the guard don't count. You must be blind or something.

Hey yo Robert T will not listen to you he is a wanna be fighter. He is a keyboard warrior who does not understand what she is watching.

He just keeps saying insults to me. ROBERT T LOW LIFE!
not better striker... more technical. His shots didnt even phase in comparison.
You can see tenshin's spirit breaking down from 8:00 onwards, when your opponent take your best hits and then taunts you to come to the middle of the ring, it is bound to happen.

What a bullshit
Tenshin had better technical striking
Equally matched? Not even close...
Tenshin nasukawa, once trained muaythai in Thailand when he was young. You can find this truth anywhere in the youtube.
Yea, a lot of K1 fighters have trained Muay Thai in Thailand at least once in their career. Many Japanese, too.
Rodtang probably fought a week later. Tenshin was laid up for months after.
Right
your [point?
Now you all know why they do not like pitting Tenshin against powerful Muay Thai fighters not only Thai but also other westerners who practices Muay Thai. This is the reason why Tenshin never fought outside Japan cherry picking his opponents to make him look like a stellar fighter in reality he is not. Now Rodtang EXPOSED Tenshin's Lack of Stamina and Weak body! He is not someone who could take powerful attacks he is not tough. Rodtang made him look like a pussy in the ring!
Agreed. Tenshin is undeniably fast, smart and have great eyes for opportunity shot. But if you still can't knock your opponent out with those advantage in the first 5 minutes then you're toasted.
Joey Diamond
I am sure if Nasukawa will face opponents with tough body and tough face but this time is a smart fighter I am sure Nasukawa will not last long. As a stellar fighter you even if you do not have the power in your punches and kicks you should have great stamina and strong body. Nasukawa is tired only in the third round. Look at his corner and that girl crying I do not know if she is his sister but they are look a like so maybe she is or his cousin. If Nasukawa is not smart he is fucked up in the 3rd and 4th round. For me there is no need to go for a 6th round 5 rounds will tell you all where are the judges looking. THIS IS RODTANG'S WIN!
Joey Diamond
I should add that Tenshin Nasukawa is not yet tested in his in his entire career. I said this before when I first saw him and some people argued with me. I told them the real test is if he fights outside Japan fighting other champion CAUCASIAN and Asian then the real test will begin. He was not yet tested and some got angry to my comment. This is his first test in which they Robbed his Foreign Opponent who fought inside Japan expecting to add this in his winning fights and there you have the result, Tenshin Nasukawa lost this one.
Rightly said. But he will never be tested, his manager or his country will also never let him unless he has the balls to step out of his shell and take the challenge himself. Because Japan is very big about saving face. The entire fighting community in Japan, from the circuit down to the press. had already paint his story as THE prodigy of this century. Having him lay down face on the ground is very bad for the narrative. That's why whenever Tenshin fights with Muay Thai users (which are considered the gatekeepers by all JP fighters) it always against the old or out of shape fighters and never someone in their prime because even amateurs knows that he will be thoroughly destroyed.
But I must admit our Muay Thai fighters are pretty dull when it comes to technicality and points in the fight. Because in our country, Muay Thai users are groomed by the atmosphere to be good at 1. Showmanships and 2. End with a K.O. They fights to impress the spectators and kills opponents in the ring that's why they always have trouble winning with points against opponents who runs alot or backed up by their own judges,
Joey Diamond
So you are Thai yourself. That is what I want to point out to Muay why do you always fight the same? Go forward do not back down. Almost no head movement and foot work. My advice is as someone who is new in martial arts when letting your Muay fighters fight someone different than their style and then fighting in enemy territory they must have foot work, jab, head movement, knows how to dance inside the ring knows when to move forward or backward and make adjustments each round to avoid giving your enemy easy points.
There's a reason why Muay Thai fighters aren't very good boxers.
The angles and head movement that good boxers employ have no use in Muay Thai, as the Thai fighter will simply clinch you for a few seconds and knee the shit out of you and then slam you to the ground.
Example, the first Buakaw vs Masato fight, Buakaw just straight up humiliated the Japanese champ with sporadic clinching and kneeing, so K1 totally nerfed the Muay Thai advantage in their subsequent iterations to just one knee per clinch so that their Japanese fighters don't just straight up continue to lose to Thai fighters.
And after those rules were enforced Buakaw lost to Masato, as Masato used his superior boxing skills to win the very close match just like this one(Rottang vs Tenshin).
Muay Thai fighters also have great stamina, as all they do is kick, and anyone who has kick boxed will tell you that kicks leech off more energy than boxing.
They did good adjustments. As figjters should not fight for too lomg in clinch. It is not a hugging competition.
@@Bespridelkinas lol, try clinching with a thai. He would bring you to your knees with just sheer technique and strength. Hugging my ass. Clinching on its own is probably much more technically complex than boxing and kicking combined
boxing styles have a place in muay thai but is extremely dificult to apply, check a few fighters to make an idea:samart payakaroon, sagat petchyindee, wangchannoi sor palangchai, somrak khamsing.
@@de20 I have seen 5'5 thai's clinch 6'0 and even bigger guys to the ground with finesse.
13:47 That body kick had to hurt....
I cant believe the amount of people here saying it was a robbery. I say this as a huge fan of Rodtang, the only thing he had going for him was forward movement and blocked kicks. In every exchange he got countered at least two times.
If this fight was in Thailand, at best it's a draw, because of how forward movement, body kicks, and ignored shots are scored there. Given that it wasn't, I think a narrow win for Tenshin make sense here because of the amount of significant shots he landed on Rodtang's head.
I've watched it a few times now, and even slowed down some parts:
Tenshin vs Rodtang
10 - 9
10 - 9
9 - 10
10 - 10
10 - 9
10 - 10
59 - 57
Even if you give both of those contested rounds to Rodtang, it's still a draw.
Tenshin’s counters are so good
i got tenshin winning round 1 , 2 , 3 ,4 and losing 5 . If this was a longer fight ROodtang would outlast him for sure tho.
Crazy how he can eat so much kicks knees elbow and punches but Floyd put him away with a light jab
Great match. Both showed a ton of heart. Tenshin reflex, counters and accuracy are impressive. His power could improve. Rodtang is conditioned like Iron, indeed he consistently push forwards although his Muay Thai style does lack head movement and more footwork his style is tough as nails yet he gives up points in the process. If he integrated western boxing he would avoid such and balance his style further. Tenshin is very quick and reaction time is instant! He can compute so many equations in seconds however his endurance was slowing down in the later rounds. I also wonder how much damage he could truly handle. By way of points he did land more. Great fight so much promise in these 2 fighters.
100%
The little boy is wearing a kimono.
There is no one else in the village. )
Draw. But tenshin did land more clean hits. Rodtang was like a terminator.
Any trick roll-kick 19:55 such as the one that sent Nasukawa to the floor should not be allowed. It's not fair for the opponent because once Nasukawa is on the floor his opponent is not allowed to kick or stomp him. On the other hand, if somehow Nakusawa got lucky and landed his foot on his opponent face or neck, his opponent might get knocked out with that one blow. That kind of roll-kick is so cheesy unless Nakusawa is managed to stand after he made the move.
Tenshin is a very good technical striker who is good at both skills and fighting by the books
Looked like a good way to have a quick break to me. Pretend I'm doing a bs kick and have little lay down. lol

It would be great if they made an interview a day after the fight. I would love to see the bruising they got from each other and perhaps tell us in all honesty the different parts of their body that are hurting the most.
In my opinion, that extra round shouldn't have happened. Both are great fighters, but the Japanese landed more significant strikes to high-point hit zones. That Muay Thai fighter is tough, yet it was clear that many of his strikes were blocked. That extra round was a privilege for Rodtang to catch up with the points, I think.
Massive kicks scoring legs and body, Tenshin was hurt and retreated, throwing show time kicks to stop Rodders onslaught. Tenshin was outscored plain and simple. Every single time.
@@Inconceivable-Montoya yes, his strikes were heavy but Tenshin's clean hits make him a better fighter here. Rodtang focused more on power and toughness, and neglected accuracy. I am a fan of both but clearly, Rodtang here appears to be being schooled.

Never seen Tenshin hesitate and struggle a little against his opponents
Its no question that this was Nasukawa's toughest challenge to date. His opponent took a SHIT TON of punishment. However, if there is no knockout, you have to go back to the cards and look at actual strikes landed, which I think Nasukawa definitely wins on. How else does one score a fight like this?
Doesn’t that remind us of mayweather. He strikes & collected enough points & all he has to do is evade, deflect & counter.
depends on the criteria, as far as i remember, glory has it primary based on damage, muai thai have composure as one of the key aspects. But imho tenshin won based on strikes or damage, but it was very close. definitely no robbery though
@les by what scoring standard did he lose the fight? he landed more effective shots, blocked nearly every kick and landed clean counters off the blocks. In KICKBOXING thats equals a win. Kick boxing and muay Thai are scored completely different. If this was a muay Thai fight you might have a point but it wasnt.
@les thats not how I saw it id give him all the rounds except 5. in round 5 rottang actually started landing shots to the body and slowing him down. but untill that point all he was doing was walking him down and getting blocked and slipped. You only win rounds with aggressiveness if its effective but it wasn't he was getting hit with clean counter the whole time even in round 4 I think this was a good fight im not taking away from either man but It was by no means a robbery.
@les perfect 2020 pal, hard to argue with such a well put together reason for him winning those all those rounds.. Someone needs to get you a job as a judge for golden boy you'd fit right in.
Blatant robbery.. this ain't just bout foreign soil but fightin a prospect who has potential to make them Big Bucks, one they're heavily invested in..
Tenshin has a tremendous heart & will, especially for his age but the fight was by no means close.. had it been close they'd have just given it to Tenshin but it was so bad they had to add a round which was closer but still in Rod's favor & then they robbed him..
**Had it been a bigger stage & maybe somebody from the west who has alot of traction & eyeballs on then I'd bet they wouldn't do em dirty but when you're a relatively unknown Thai despite being an elite, you get robbed, Big time!
It's a shame is what it is
Rodtung is definetly getting some steam he is world champion @onefc
Rodtang won. Tenshin's body language - note his head shaking after the fight was over - said so very clearly. Judge also overlooked the decisive knee KO that Rodtang scored, Tenshin acted it away as a low blow.

Despite whatever judging criteria, Rottung was the dominant fighter more than 3/4 of the fight and had forward momentum. Tenshin was saved by drawing out ref breaks and the short rounds. Wtf I can't believe there is some people saying this was robbed. Just because Tenshin ended more tired? This is fighting, this is about striking your opponent not about looking manly while you eat almost every punch. Some of you talk like very young Rottang fans. I aplaud his attitude here, so much heart, so much strenght, put Tenshin's stamina in real danger, but that wasn't just enought to beat him.
No because it's a fight... And tenshin hit him with everything he had and it had zero effect were as rodtang had him hurt badly and dropped him and by the end tenshin was beat the hell up. I mean it's a fight if you don't score damage what is the point? Might as well jab and run the whole time
@@IjbvfknnnThis would be accurate if this fight wad under Muay Thai rules, but this wasn't. It's under K-1 rules. Why are y'all moping about something that isn't here. Damage isn't the #1 factor in K-1 Kickboxing. Rodtang lost, accept it.
I like Tenshin, but wow he lost every round in this one. One of the worst calls in a fight I've ever seen. Disgraceful.
One of my favorite kickboxing fight , I only watched mma before ,but after watching this fight , I watched every fight that has these two name
What do you mean by robbery? The japanese hit more times and looked better in the exchanges. He made more points, and was the winner. It’s true that the Muay Thai fighter was better conditioned, but you don’t win by how much stamina you have.
you must be new to the sports, if you've been watching K1 you know they are heavily biased.
I have watched this 10 times. You guys are purposely trying to be blind from the facts on the video. You should watch it again slowly.. Clearly we can see who won based on 5 rounds because you should be able to see Pikachu hitting Charizard with lightning bolt throughout the fight.
Your an idiot for having to watch it 10 times to come to a conclusion first off, and even after all that your still wrong, look at the result tenshin looked battered, rodtang looked fine, the hit and run strategy only works if he was hitting and not getting hit but he was hitting running and getting fucking hammered with kicks and all of those punches he landed didnt do anything rodtang just came harder while he was wilting.
So, you’ve watched it ten times and still didn’t see that Rodtang clearly won the final round? Since the judges deemed it to be a draw after the fifth round and therefore ordered a sixth one, Rodtang should’ve won the fight! If they had declared Tenshin the winner after the fifth then I would’ve been okay with that decision, but they didn’t and Tenshin very obviously lost the last round, which proves that the Japanese judges were biased as fuck! Normally the judges should’ve been from a nation other than where the fighters are from to keep it fair, but this was a fucking farce!
@@pacovl46 I don't know whether I should play along or tell you guys to read my comment 10 times.
@@ArmadusMalaysia fine, stick with your story! I know what I saw and Tenshin did NOT win the the last round and that’s all there is to it!
@@pacovl46 Obviously it was Pikachu's prime time.
If this is a muaythai rule, high chances the thai guy would win. But tenshin saw opportunities from this guy & use it as his advantages. The thai guy is good but he was emotional & most of tenshin punches connected to his head.
@1/4ganoi true. But don't forget this is a competition. That jabs still give points to Tenshin. If is only ko based, that thai guy must find ways how to connect his attack against tenshin. So under the rules of this competition, tenshin wins. Still i have the respect for the thai guy toughness. But this is like a fight between tarantula & hornet. Tarantula is tougher & bigger but hornet always strike them 1st. Nuff said.
Lmao, you mamahuevos have no idea about how bad those jabs hurt, after the fight the thai guy gets brain damaged, tenshin would just have a bruised arm.
@1/4ganoi you have no idea do you casual?
MT like a chess game. clinching and knee to body can destroy Tenshin stlye.
Tenshin fast lock him knee to body.
In MT rules. MT is chess game.
If count only punch Tenshin won.
But if count kick, knee and punch together Rodtang won. Kick and knee made more damage and very hurt to body but not obvious to see. Thai people can see and feel it. Thai rule judge by damage and form so they think it is robbery
But Rodtangs kicks is not clean, always blocked
I dont think it's a robbery. Its actually even hard to judge this match. Look at how Tenshin hit's with cirurgic precision, moves very fast and constantly puts pressure over Rodtang.
The thai dude too, simply takes it all, like a mountain, its impressive his spirit. In a fight based of rules we cant fully analyze their capacity. All i can see its that no one has been knocked out, and if the match had more time, probably Tenshin would fall due to Rodtang amazing endurance and spirit.
But to the point it finished, i saw Tenshin doing his best and constantly throwing impressive strikes. This match cant be judged properly, both were amazing.
Tenshin clearly won by clean points, doesnt matter if rodtang is indestructible, a clean hit is a point.
@@torontodough2755 What purpose is a "clean point" if you cant even hurt your opponent? Had there been more rounds, the fact that you cant hurt your opponent starts to show itself. And in that context, being "indestructible" does matter. So that is what makes it so hard to judge.
rodtong almost killed tenshin that is what i saw look! those kicks made so much damage it really hurts poor tenchin haha
12.25 shame on you kid so rodtond said "no no no nonooo" fucking funny haha
You say "haha" but you're crying inside fanboy lol xD
what a waste i read your comment psh
@@กั้กม้าเก็ง Need a tissue?

i am a huge rodtang fan (also a huge tenshin fan too - im just a fight fan to be honest) but i dont know how you could call it for rodtang.... tenshin was teeing off on him the entire fight. pushing someone around the ring doesnt mean youre winning
Tenshin is amazing!!! He didn’t win this fight though. Very different styles can make a fight hard to judge. Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Tenshin Nasukawa have very different styles. But this is not a hard fight to score. Rodtang won it with a large margin. This is Buakaw vs Masato 2004 except the wronf guy won.
The fuck are you even talking about lol, did we watch the same fight? I've never heard of this tenshin guy before but he scored more points here for sure, it's just rodtang is a freaking tank bro he was catching hard hits with his face those hits would definitely knockout any other fighter, but as you may notice, rodtang did not hit many clean hits to tenshin here he was being outplayed.
The god of kickboxing vs the Demon of Muay Thai
Rodtang never change :
"C'MOOONNN!!!!" 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Rodtang dominated the ring but Tenshin landed a lot more clean shots, he outscored Rodtang and so he won.
If Tenshin can do crescent kicks, the opponent should be allowed to attack when Tenshin is on the floor.
dont know why everyone thought rodtang won. he was blocking punches with his face all night. yes hes tough and didnt get hurt but tenshin beat him to the punch in almost every exchange.
12.06 look at tenshin face😂 he was like "how can he took my kick"
I think that tensin win cuz he got more point the thai guy just absorb all the punch and kick from tensin. Tensin got 1,2,3 round and rodtang got the next round. If it a muay thai rules tensin will lose cuz he cant take powerfull attack thats why he really good at evading an attack
Dude I'm with you. Tenshin had more rounds. I wanted to add that Tenten was consistently landing left counters the whole time. This is kick boxing. Judges rely on punch counts more and they don't score blocked kicks.
5:50 best highlight in the fight for me
Rodtang, as always, had a super strong body that can take any attack without any pain, but regarding skill, Tenshi at that time is a little bit better. So, unless Rodtang coiuld KO Tenshi during the fight, otherwise, if decide by points or ref, Tenshi abviously won this
I doubt it will last forever NO ONE has ever took so much damage without consequence. So, he better start working on his defense, I hope it improved since then
Rubbish. Go study striking scoring
People that saying Tenshin won this fight clearly dont do martial arts in real life. Japanese judges has been bias against Thai fighters for decades. Even when Buakaw dominated K1 , some of the matches has been bias decision by Japanese judges. Tenshin is a super star in Japan for this generation. It would not make any sense for the judges to score Rodtang over Tenshin in their home soil. Same thing as When Ramon Dekker literally won against Thai fighters. And Thai judges still scored Thai fighter to win. Tenshin is gased out and even fell on purpose to the ground to avoid punches or just to recover a little bit of stamina. Great fight but questionable decision. I'm not surprised.
Tenshin won easily by points, Rodtang is literally giving away free hits to entertain the crowd. Tenshin's boxing is better
@@DKYtut Not really.
@@DKYtut Not really Ho
@@filiptueaprakhon7367 I see you can't accept that Rodtang lost against the undefeated kickboxer, probably because you're emotionally biased since you're Thai, I understand .
@@DKYtut Nah not really, why are u mad? lmao. I have been training Muay Thai since 6 years old until now. I know how this martial arts works. Tenshin lost this fight. The guy was throwing himself on the floor in those few last rounds. I'm not bias at all. I have been talking shit about thai fighters as well if I think they lost but ends up winning by the judges scores. You should study more about this game before you even try to comment.
Nasukawa won that match 110%
Round 1-4 was his and 5 was a bit in Rodtangs favor and EX was a draw if anything.Hop off of Rodtangs jock for 5 seconds Nasukawa got way more significant strikes and Rodtang ate way more shots. Rodtang doesnt need a bunch of bench warmers riding him when he loses fair and square
Amazing fight! Tenshin clearly out boxed rodtang but just couldn't do any damage. He won on nearly every exchange. Tough to judge this one. Ability to hurt your opponent needs to be accounted for in judging so i would call it a draw. Tenshin got more clean hits in but zero damage. Would be cool to see a rematch in ONE. 4oz gloves would change everything.
So the kicks of rod do not score?
@@lifeisgreat1718 its not score like muay thai, punches are scored higher
Rodtang has an impressive poker face if you didn't know, you can tell he was also gassed at the end, taking all the shots and not doing any significant damage yourself
Tenshin won’t fight outside of Japan promotions.. ONE has very competitive fighters in his weight class
Robbed. Tenshin was barely alive at 4th round. He had to went as much as using the rolling thunder, throw himself to the ground, took his sweet time getting back up, then complains about his OWN groin shot. Which referee completely lenient towards.
Japan loves weaving their anime protagonist narration. And just like anime protag, they only survives or wins because of plot.
EDIT: at 12:30 he clearly got kneed the torso but say it was groinshot and calls for a timeout. That's a bitch move. He's no longer in a condition to fight and he needs every seconds he can dirtily scrape by.
Japanese refs and judges always look out for their own, that's entirely why the extra round was invented in the first place. Japanese fighter didn't do good enough to win in 3 rounds? Fuck it, give him another round. Like in 2004 when Buakaw was beating Masato like he was a pinata, and somehow the judges still made him fight another (also completely one-sided) round before giving him the decision. Or in 2008, where Kyshenko kicked Masato's ass for 3 rounds (including a knockdown), got sent to an extra round which he also won, and then got jobbed out of the decision. It's nothing new.
BestWayKilla
Yeah right. I do not know the fighters you said but I got your point. The Japanese people are really racist when their fighter is fighting foreigners! They just care for their own except you win if you kill their fighter inside the ring. The same in boxing this is what they do even if the foreigner did good in making points. The Japanese will give the decision win to their own fighter not to the fighter who deserves the win.
Those damned Japanese always cheat for their guy!! That's why Mothra always loses to Godzilla!! Dam the fuckers!!
Alive or not, he landed more clean shots. Isn't that what gives you a victory? You know nothing about martial arts. Do you?
Richter Belmont agreed
I'm 8 minutes in and Jesus what a fight. So much more entertaining than UFC
I don't agree with result though. I thought Rodtang won
Its clear that Rodtang won....🤓
I wouldn’t say clear because it’s hard to judge different styles but yea rodtang won
Yo pensaba que las peleas las ganaba el que menos golpes recibía y más golpes daba, pero se ve que enrealidad gana el que más golpes en la cara aguanta y va al frente bloqueando puños con la cara.
Rodtang was gifted an extra round and STILL failed to bring Tenshin down. Also showed poor sportsmanship at the end when the champ went over to give respects
Tenshin got the points by blowing many punches on the face of thai fighter . where as Thai fighter fight like a fool 🤣🤣
exactly
No one understands this though
Rodtang won, controlled the pace and landed more damaging shots. Wasn't a robbery though. Close fight. Rodtang needed to knock him out to win over in Japan.
I can see why majority of people felt that rottang got robbed. People don’t realize that in Muay Thai the score is mostly for landed kicks and not punches~ punches in Muay Thai is almost close to nothing, however, I think tenshin was trying for a knockout hence he was trying to out-punch rottang which is the other option other than risking a draw or unanimous decision and rottang, from the beginning, has been accumulating kicks for points~ the take downs however might have played in part but other than that this was a very close fight~ very well done to both fighters.
yabadaba you look like you know too much about muaythai are you fight in raja or lumpinee or you are promoter in thailand ?
Guys Yabadaba is right .He knew it. You get score from landed kicks and knees in major, elbows even better than punches. Punches also score but it must be hard enough to hurt and stop your opponent clearly, not like armature boxing. If you are a puncher you got to keep attacking for a knock out to win.To take down also score as showing you are stronger if you are down you must get up as quickly as possible. It is not just how many you have hit but also how you look. I don't know how to explain .Let say if it is a close fight and come to last round and you got only one taken down and more you are getting up slowly hard gasping ,you have lose. You got to hit effectively , show you are stronger, you can absorb the pain and you are controlling the game. Muay thai fighters are trained in Thailand that way. Based on that obviously this fight Rodtang 100% won and look ,Rodtang was really disappointed and upset and so Thais.
You don't realize it was a KICKBOXING match.
Yeah, that's maybe in Muai thai, but this is Kickboxing! So nobady cares how slowly you get up, or how good you look after the fight. It's what you do during the fight.
In muaythai standard stadiums rule, not only landed shots that count but even when that shot got blocked but still clearly weakened the opponent then the attacker still got score at the end. So strength, endurance and balance are very important for muaythai. if you look weaker or inferrior in any way that means you are losing score at the whole picture. Some skillful fighter like Somrak got scores by his consecutive evades and blocks. Anything you can do that will make you look superior all count!
You can tell tenshin doesn't face a lot of people with his athleticism, speed and strength. He tends to more or less become scared when he does.
Lots of bitter Rodtang fans on here calling "cheat", "robbery" etc. but what I saw was a close fight. Comments like that are very disrespectful to Tenshin who is an amazing fighter too and put in a great performance. The draw after 5 rounds could have gone either way. Highly subjective as a few of those rounds were 50/50. I thought Rodtang edged the extra round because he had more left in the tank and Tenshin seemed to be spent, but we all know the Muay Thai fighter will do better the longer the fight goes on. Their training is simply more intense than any other type of combat sports.
It's always odd to see these Thais don't seem to acknowledge it's a kickboxing fight scored under most shots landed. So Tenshin won on points. It was close but he won. It's not Muay Thai. Kicks on the arms don't score. The amount of pushback or damage taken doesn't score. It's shots landed. Tenshin was too slick.
Best to take note of this: Japanese kickboxers are good at their hands. Their flurries and boxing blitzs are bizzare compare to Thai kickboxing, which are almost nonexistent mostly, and relies on long guard and clinch. That's why Tenshin won against rodtang because of most hits landed versus of rodtangs durability and conditioning so basically, the japanese outboxed the thai with jabs and 1-2s alone.
Masato vs Buakaw
Stop running Tenshin
Put those judges in the ring with Rodtang lol! I'd pay to see that.
japanese man clearly won. japanese man kept tagging rodtang. its not about whos dealing more damage but the points. the points is what will make you win. jaanese man knocked him down couple times, landed nice clean shots and kept good distance. overall great fighter. rod tang couldn't compare to him in boxing skills.
@@henrypalencia6074 ur dumb? he did not knock the muay thai fighter down just dragging him down with him when he falls. And if rules muay Thai rules are applied Rodtang can ez throw him down any time too. But he did not use it. Also, those roll kick down to the ground is nothing but killing of time and hope these judge don't use it as a hit count. Muay Thai fighter won this one big time and got rob hard. Clearly judge just giving him a cheated win. Videos don't lied. Rodtang outank, out stamina, out box and out kick box this judge favor red hair guy. Japanese judges are always do this biased shit to Thai fighters. Buakaw got so many of them and he decided to forfeit one of his K1 championship against Kehl. Because of added extra 4th round which clearly he won 3 round. This reason he quit K1 otherwise he will probably be holding 5 plus world record K1 championship belts.
@@killeyx Tenshin outboxed him the entire fight. It wasn't even close Tenshin won.
I like the comment. Rodtang wouldn't do that unless they r in a fight with him. He is very humble.
Tensin landed more strikes while rodtang keep taking it … its not about how much u can take hit its about how much u can hit and that what tensin did and he won the fight
Hardest fight of kenshin that ive watched. Rodtang is not robbed. Kenshin got lots of points by clean hit, Rodtang is just so adamant.
Tenshins face said it all when he was announced winner
Tenshin is good but Rodtang is a bad ass. Rodtang bullied Tenhin the entire fight and went through him. Rodtang won the fight.
I thought Tenshin won the fight. He was landing his strikes at will towards the end and countering every hit almost perfectly from his defense position. Rottang was great at showboating, but most of his strikes(particularly head shots) were all blocked or evaded imo.
i agree 100%, i think the problem might come from a deference of scoring Technics or styles,as explained on JRE MMA Show #37 with Mark DellaGrotte Thai put way more enforces on the kicks & clinch
Daxcheese555 I agree.
Daxcheese555 I agreed
At will is a ridiculous overstatement. There were plenty of times where he couldn't land anything because he was in the middle of getting pummeled. Also, volume shouldnt mean shit when they arent doing any damage.
Where is agressive point
I love how tenshin literally double legs rodtang. and no point deduction lol
