It's been cold and it is breeding season soon so they will need all the extra help they can get. Well done Sam on making your own. I used to buy the big bags too, works out way cheaper. Bung them in the freezer to harden them maybe.
We have gone through 90 shop bought ones in next to no time, the birds around the place love them! Hopefully they will equally love these homemade ones. The best birds we have seen so far are a Woodpecker, such beautiful colours and a Buzzard. Hundreds of small birds of various breeds too.
@@VintageRVAdventures cool, I used to get a woodpecker in the garden when I had the house. The great spotted one that is black with white and red on it. I love seeing the birds, but yes, they soon know where the food is and come and scoff it!
