The UK's Navy New aircraft carrier teamed up with US pilots to launch F 35 jets in beast mode

At the end of October the Royal Navy took its naval-aviation capabilities to the next level by launching a fully loaded F-35B from HMS Prince of Wales an aircraft carrier for the first time.

No arresting gear.........YET!! They're going to install catapalts on both carriers by 2026 as both ships were built with the possibility of installing such arresting/catapalt mechanisms at a later date according to requirements. With the advent of war in Ukraine, Iran, Russia and possibly China/Taiwan, that requirement has arrived.

The upgrades to the both carriers or at least to Wales have been canceled. That means, no cats no traps, no steam. It's not happening. These carriers are merley izumo class.
