First time on the channel! Color Traveler ink: Kotohira Happy Yellow

- I have become a huge fan of the inks from Color Traveler. They're just so good! Happy Yellow is not really a yellow to my eye, more of an orange, but it definitely leans yellow, and I'm happy about it! Vanness gave us this ink to enjoy and review, and I may need to collect them all.

Nope.
This is a very good color, I'm surprised seeing it come out so strong on the paper after seeing the translucence of the ink in the bottle. Certainly a happy feel about it.
(Did you mis-speak when you called this a South Korean ink? Color Traveler is a Japanese company (and, of course, Kotohira is a location in Japan).) edited to add: made in Korea? Interesting.
I guess it's a Japanese company that makes ink in Korea? I'm not really clear on what the deal is, but it's good ink either way.
I have a couple Color Traveler inks and they are beautiful and flowy. I like this one, too. The chromatography is really neat. I’m waiting for Color Traveler to put out a real suitcase with a special, padded, leak-proof section for packing their ink. Maybe they could collaborate with Tom the Sugar Turtle.

You know, Mike, you do a pretty impressive job on these videos when you’re working alone, but they’re always just that bit better when the feline directors show up to offer some guidance.
One hundredth sample? Tell the cats to give you a special treat! I didn’t mind how it looked on the Galen notebook, but maybe my screen un-grunged it.
Please show us more Color Traveler inks! (Sounds as if the inks themselves should come with a passport stamped for each place to which there ink has a connecting.)
I just recently bought this (along with a bunch of other Color Traveler inks) and I love it too!
In case you're curious, Color Traveler is a line of inks from a stationery chain called Tayama Bungu, based in Hiroshima. The inks themselves are likely manufactured by Tono & Lims if it's made in Korea. Tono & Lims is a big Japanese brand that was started by two people - one who is Japanese and one who is Korean, so even though it's a Japanese brand all the inks are produced in Korea. Generally most of the inks in Japan, even if they are exclusives that are only sold in certain stores or specific areas of Japan, are either manufactured by Sailor or Tono & Lims.
