The problem with the decolonizing of the African child is connecting with what the likes of King Ajo teach with our spirituality. Many African or Black academics fail to connect with our authentic spirituality or end up saying it doesn't exist. The man makes reference to his own indigenous knowledge taught by elders who practiced true spirituality. Which will guide us in differentiating between real and fake today. Most of his references from elders are actually the teachings of iNkosi Yomoya Uzwi Lezwe Radebe. Reminded me of my Grandmother who told me about her ancestors Mphephu / Mbedzi who could stop rain. I've been blessed with 3 sons and a daughter. I'm very close to my sons 2 of which I'm living with. When I'm with all of my sons I find myself doing things when I look back are things my father use to do. I respect very much what was passed on to me on both side of the family.
