In the late 2000's, Got Milk had this weird obsession with Russia for some reason because we got this & that series of commercials with another family trying to steal a glass of milk from the KGB.
There's a similar (yet darker) one that involved an American family, except when they found out the doughboy drank the milk, they threw him in the oven. These are some other dark got milk commercials like 1. The one where the mother tried to convince her kids to drink milk, but the kids told her that their neighbor never drinks milk. When he lifts up the wheelbarrow, his arms fall off and the kids scream then chug their milk. Got milk? 2. There was a convict who was reminiscing on his childhood on how he would come home from school to a batch of cookies and milk. But one day he came home there were cookies but the milk carton was empty. He was traumatized by the event and turned into a criminal. One of the other inmates told him that he knew a person who could possibly get him some milk. Got milk? 3. A man walks into a store and picks up a few boxes of cereal. When he goes to pay for it, the cashier notices he has trix and says that trix are for kids. He leaves the other cereal boxes and takes the Trix. He goes back to his apartment and pulls open a zipper. The man is revealed to be the Trix rabbit. He pours the cereal in his bowl but realizes he is out of milk. Got milk? This one is only dark because of the mood and tone as well as the eerie music. 4. There was a ghost who was crying and walking through a house. When she gets to the refrigerator and finds a carton of milk, she is happy at first, but finds out the carton is empty and starts crying again. Got milk? 5. There was a psychic kid. He told his dad to stop and a dog ran by. He then told his dad to wait and a tree fell down. While at a birthday party he said "don't eat the cake" and they still did. Then a woman screamed and appeared with an empty milk carton. Got milk? The mood, tone, and eerie music made it even darker. 6. There was a man riding the bus eating cookies. He saw a billboard advertisement for a diner that served milk. It turned out the diner is shut down and being demolished. The next location for food and drink is over 400 miles away. The man screams. Got milk?
I’m surprised they took this lightly. I mean the dough boy wasn’t so lucky with the American family when they didn’t have milk.
