Another neat trip you and your wife may like for a long weekend is to come to Winston-Salem North Carolina and stay at Old Salem one of the airbnb's and Ride The Greenway trail around Salem lake and through Old Salem. A lot of nice restaurants in Winston-Salem.
Just rode this trail on May 16th. Glad to see more of the trail is open now. Beautiful trail.
