- Kaetlyn Osmond and Gabrielle Daleman become the first two Canadians to share a world championship podium in the same women's event. Their free programs won them silver and bronze respectively at the 2017 World Championships in Helsinki, Finland.

I cried for gabby in peyong cheng such a devistating free skate
I love coming back here to see Gabby’s joy when she finished this amazing skate. So heartbreaking what she suffered after this 😢
Good heavens, Canadian ladies! You are shining stars.
In her best performances, Kaetlyn had such extraordinary presence on the ice. You can't take your eyes off her -- the drama, the speed into her moves, her edges, the way she flies on jumps, beautiful arms, stylish flair, even her facial expression, all radiating ease and a love of skating. The young Alena Kostornaia had a similar thing, kind of an extra factor.

This is the Gabby we all love. Glad she had this, other than the 2020 devastating Canadian championships due to injuries, but we STILL LOVE HER. watched this March 6,2020. Thanks Canadian ladies, Gaby and Kate.

To think that 20 years ago, we failed to qualify a woman for Nagano. We rebuilt our program since then and now look at our ladies. They're right up there among the top.

Gabby is spunky while Kaetlyn is elegant. Awesome skates by both lovely ladies.
you can only hope and pray they are judging based on what they are seeing AT the olympics and NOT on what they have SEEN prior to (during the GP season). sorry but you need to PROVE that you can perform at a high level - with perfection of elegance, style and music and jumps at the grandest stage of them all. idc if you're #1 or #15 - what you do on olympic ice is ALL that should be judged period. super proud of our cdn girls, we have 2 in the top 10 and we killed that team comp so we CAN win gold! just be perfect ladies! (tough we know and much easier said than done) but these judges are so technical now it's all they care about - as most of the top ladies have the component score in the bag (meaning already figured out), russians always score higher, it took katelyn a while for judges in the GP circuit to start rewarding her the way the russians were, until alina it was only katelyn carolina and evgenia, then alina came out of jr league and it was over - anyone who watches skating new this from 2017 worlds, it was over period. :P
Nope any sport is based on that night. It's called sports. NHL NFL etc arent based on the season although it gets you to the finals it's the pressure it's the night. Its sports. People would stop watching if it was the whole season. I love skating and I'm not watching every event. Be real
