I think what makes people see Mark stand out here is because he adds these very small details such as hand gestures, facial expressions, head movements that make the performance his own and not just any choreographed dance. But yeah you also can't deny that swag, it's sooooo real. He's not trying to be swag, He IS. But I could also feel, instead of being competitive (ong seongwoo is also a great artist), that he sincerely just wants people to show, this is who I am, this what I can do, this is NCT.
I watched this before i really knew any of them, and Mark's stage presence really hit me in the face. It was shocking. He doesn't specialise in dance, but my eyes are always naturally drawn to him. He knows how to control his energy when he dances, and that impresses me so much. His movements are precise, and most of all, he looks like he enjoys being there, on the stage, performing. It's like he was born to be there. Mina and Seungwoo are superb dancers, but they don't have that spark that instantly draws me to them. They sometimes seem uninterested, and that makes me uninterested too. I'm sure they'll develop that later on though! It's just my personal preference. Mark was just really intense, it really hit me when he and Mina were standing together before Seungwoo joined them, he looked at the camera while Mina looked at the floor. It made me realise, *wow, this dude is an idol* . I feel like if Mina and seungwoo put on masks and caps i wouldn't be able to tell they were idols, but with mark i get that vibe instantly. Its impossible to ignore. So yeah, personal opinion.
