I expected a lot of cool things when I first stumbled onto this wonderful channel. Fancy beaches, amazing food, and hotels that look stunning. I never imagined the South Pole was even a choice. Not to mention there is a specific company that caters to such tourism. We have all see the Bora Bora flexes on social media, but a stay in the most remote place on Earth? Phenomenal work as always sir and a special thanks to Mr.Macdonald!
Great video, Andrew’s work is absolutely stunning! I’m amazed the penguins can survive in that environment I’m so glad they are protected. Antarctica remains pristine because humans have limited involvement.
Hi Traveler. Well, That is one for the record books, isn't it ?? Truly Awe Inspiring. I got to see another view of Antarctica. I follow (Gone Venturing) he worked at McMurdo Station for a few seasons. Thanks for taking us along, and including this very special edition of the vlog !!
How cool is that! I met Andrew last October at Miavana, when he was invited to shoot there. Really nice guy with amazing photographic ability. Love the content. Antarctica added to bucket list
Wow... this was so magic to watch. Thank you for putting up a collaboration with Andrew. 🙏And a big shoutout to both of you. This must have been a once in a lifetime experience.
This super unique collaborative, nat geo esq video definitely needs more views! The level of photography & videography by Andrew is simply breathtaking!
That was so magnificent. The scenery and those gorgeous penguins. What a harsh environmental place to live. Nature at its best and worst. Humans do not belong there thank goodness. Visiting under supervision is the best for man and animal. Photography at its finest. Cheers.
As a pilot I’ll forgive Andrew for forgetting the name of the most iconic airplane of all time. The McDonald Douglas DC-3. Because animals and nature are my biggest passion just above Aviation and he captures some epic shots. 😊 thank you for sharing this incredible place to both creators.
Sadly I’m hearing the penguins are not doing so well due to global warming, ice melting and not being able to keep the chicks on ice until their feathers grown in prior to hitting the water.
I could not wait to see this video-it is amazing. Love how Andrew savored every moment of his South Pole visits. I will definitely check out the links to his social media provided in the Description. Excellent footage and photos of the penguins, who are probably thinking, "Oh dear, here come those odd creatures again." Thanks for sharing Dr. LTE. So happy you made this incredible journey!
What an incredible experience that must have been and what those penguins go through to watch over their eggs. Incredible beautiful video, thanks for sharing. 😊
@@AndrewMacdonaldPhotography I dont like it that you said you felt like a fraud at the South Pole because of the earlier explorers, you should not have that kind of negativity carrying around you wherever you go. It takes away from the special moment and incredible achievement of yours and any other person who is able to visit such an unique place. It was a pleasure watching this video but your comment did leave me with an icky feeling. I feel like no matter who you are, every person has their own journey and it should be special and celebrated in its own unique way.
Being Honest, I was missing you, In this video I was missing the taste of your conventional method capturing with no voice and elaborations, I didn't enjoy the way that I had been enjoying and watching your all previous videos being quit calm and let the viewer to imagine and bring his own thoughts. Any way I like your previous two videos of Antarctica trip, and this one, it was not your type I must say! being honest. ... Thumbs up buddy
Brava!! Absolutely wonderful videography, photography, narration, and being taken along on a grand journey. My favorite of course are the Penguins!! Thank you both for a fantastic video! I'll be sad to leave next week but can't wait for more adventures with Luxury Traveler!
Beautiful shots!! Nice team-up!! Did you accompany him on this side trip? Because I just can't imagine you missing the opportunity to see these unique creatures!! 😊😍🌞!!
HOW SPECIAL WAS THAT 😊 GREAT COLLABORATION 👍 SLEEPING IN THE SNOW ❄️ MANNN!!! THE PHOTOGRAPHER 1 OF A KIND PICS 📸 WITH HAPPY FEET & HIS FAMILY ARE PRICELESS!! ❤ THE WAY THEY WALK SO MUCH SWAGG! 😅 AWESOME TEAMWORK!!❤
my dad did this trip in December last year, his a wild life photographer and he did the white desert SOUTH POLE & EMPERORS trip, all though very pricey coming in at $98,000 pp, he told me emotionally this was an beatiful amazing trip and 100% worth it!
I am absolutely moved by this beauty of reporting! nature with all its splendor and harshness in that ice landscape where the penguin community survives being only them against nature. Beautiful report. And you gentlemen have the best job on the planet. thanks TLTE and Andrew!
It is at the South Pole, precisely at this place, that you can go around the world the fastest, in only 5 seconds. We place the index finger on the rod, and we go around it quickly. If you want to go around the world at the equator, it's quite a bit longer to do, 40,000 km... 😉
Yeah! We're in here for yet another treat! Thank you so much for this amazing content. 1:07- Hi #Andrew! Your work is phenomenal. Nature is just pure beauty! Thank you for borrowing us your eyes, through your lens of course! 7:17- That's definitely facing-south. 😂. Oh wow, man! I'd love to leave my South African flag at the South Pole! 14:25- So photogenic. 🥺. It's like they're posing, hey. They're so unreal. Whaaw!💖💖💖 Thanks to the mountains, that are proof there's land. One would easily think that Antarctica is made out of, JUST, ice! 24:01- That "Father-Son" chat. 😃 24:06- They apparently make the most loyal partners.🥰

@@SudiSaiorse13 Thanks Bonnie for the info. It is a bit too expensive for me, even though I'm planning to trip to Antarctica soon, but I realized now it won't be with White Desert, it will be rather with the French cruise the Ponant. It is way more affordable.
An amazing journey, the incredible beauty of nature and it is very inspiring. I like your videos and I hope to see your original video from the South Pole. Did you ask Andrew to create a special video for your UA-cam channel or did he suggest it?
I thought this was a live action remake of Happy Feet at the end 😅. Spectacular video and how I wish I could afford this kind of trip in my lifetime. ❤
This was such a beautiful video....amazing...all animal no matter what should be respected throughout the world but it does not happen in many parts but it should...It take a different mindset to look at animal in a beautiful way and I am glad I am one of them....
Well done Mr Macdonald, beautiful. Thanks for showing the 1% in their natural habitat.

No creature on earth, no creature, endures such unimaginable, incomprehensible misery as does the Emperor Penguin. One wonders for what purpose. TY
Penguins are adapted to Antarctica. I don't think they are miserable.
