My heart almost stopped when he started moving the camera! 😁 I feel you! I had a similar experience! Even if I hide and secure my cameras and, just like you, mount them in areas with little to no people, you can`t avoid them completely. It's good he didn`t damage the lens!
I didn’t expect anyone to walk through that area. I had a second camera that was much more visible that I luckily removed a week before this guy walked into the area.
Hi, we only have 2 species of squirrels in the UK. Reds and the American grey (which can be melanistic). Can you please tell me which squirrel species were in this ( lovely) videos. Cheers from Cornwall UK .
This video includes Eastern Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) @ 8:32 @ 9:37, Red Squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) @ 9:25, and Fox Squirrel (Sciurus niger) @ 9:45. The Eastern Grey Squirrel has two different color morphs - grey and black. Thanks for watching!
@@Birdlab cariolennsis is shot or trapped herebas it's a major pest. Vulgaris is much loved,, and protected by law, and we have loads of schemes that try to help them thrive. Cheers for the info.
He turned the camera because he just illegally shot a deer and he didn't want you to have footage of him carrying the deer out you can hear him take the shot at 6:53 I'm willing to bet he shot that four-point buck if I were you I would turn the video footage over to your local game warden I guarantee you they got a file on this guy he knows he was illegally hunting in other words he was poaching
This was on the morning of opening day of the regular firearm season. So he was probably legally hunting but trespassing on a no hunting property. In some of the earlier video you can hear firearms in the distance, so he could have also been tracking a deer that he shot on a neighboring property. Regardless, he should have left the camera alone. These aren't wifi cameras so I can't pickup the signal on my phone.
Someone messed with one of my cameras on private property. They shut the camera off.... What they did when it was off IDK (but have an idea). When they turned it back on, the "horizon" was moved slightly. Frustrating.
I used to include those in my earlier videos. But I found them distracting. Just personal preference. I do list the dates in the description and at the ends of the videos.
The camera is a Browning Recon Force Elite. The color and pattern on the camera blended in pretty good with the tree trunk and it was hard to notice unless you looked directly at it. I guess this guy had eagle eyes. I cover most of my cameras with a piece of burlap which makes them invisible in brush and grasses.
Even though the Dude moved your cam, you still got some good wildlife footage.👍🏻 Happy New Year Birdlab✌🏻🦝🦌🐁🦤🐾
True. I got to focus on the smaller animals "behind the scenes". Happy New Year to you as well.
I can think of some "other" names to call "the dude". Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
You will have to thank "the dude" for showing you what you were missing behind your camera lol...
Thanks dude!😅
Always gotta be an a-hole around. This is why we can't have nice things.
😆

Enjoyed see the bucks in rut chasing the does, glad the guy didn’t steal the camera. Thanks for sharing! 👍 👍
The camera survived to film another day. 🙂
@ 👍 👍
Buddy can afford all that fancy camo but can’t afford his own piece of property. Interesting.
Camo has certainly gotten more expensive, but definitely nowhere near the price of land. 😂
@ you can find a decent lease for what he paid for that outfit.
Spent it all on the outfit 😂😂
I don't have any trail cameras, hunt mostly public land these days but it seems like the one being used has great sound and videos
This camera is a Browning Recon Force Elite. They cost about $160 and are very dependable. I have one that's been running for four years non-stop.
@Birdlab thank you
It's hunters like him that give the rest of us a bad name.

You forgot to add the muskrat in the description.
Thanks

Some people have no boundaries at all.
Do all cameras when using video mode stay focused and seem to move or follow the object moving.
They stay focused in one spot. I edit the video afterwards.
This is why i put my cameras up high
He definitely must have done something illegal to move the camera while he walks back past it
Time/Date stamps would be nice
I used to include those in my earlier videos. But I found them distracting. Just personal preference. I do list the dates in the description and at the ends of the videos.
Dude was obviously out of shape.
So you wouldn't see the poached animal.
World is getting smaller. What should we do about it?
I just had a locked on camera busted off the tree by a hunter that than trimmed the tree so he could climb it with a climber.
So I chose to leave the person in the video! Liar!
Gotta learn how to camo your cameras up and find ways to hide them.

Had one cut off the tree with an ax. Guess he didn't want the cops to get his picture.
Wow, some people have determination. This tree was huge. He would have needed a chainsaw to take it out.
All someone has to do is take SD CARD BUT NO LETS BE A @$$hole 🤦🏿♂️
Wow, I feel you!
