Remarkable man and musician, it was a privilege and an honour to be working under his button in the 2012 Aegean Festival. Thank you Mr. Rutter!
Wooooo thank you Mr. Rutter. Greetings from Caracas - Venezuela.
This is the Needlepoint, Tapestry, or Oriental Rug movement. The theme weaves through the circle of keys in all different directions beautifully. Each modulation is a wonderful surprise. The key variation is reminiscent of the Third movement of Beethoven's Emperor Concerto, or, drawing from Rock or popular music, Chicago's lovely, meandering Color My World.
It's also the calm before the Fecit Potentiam Storm.
