Does your explanation coincide with ayat No. 33 of Sura Al Imran (3/33), which states that ALLAH has chosen ADAM, wo Nooh wo Ibrahin wa Al Imran as best among the people. Because you say that ADAM was not a specified person but this word means all humans.
Two friends purchased 10 prize Bonds each of 1000 value. When the draw was conducted one bond of Friend No.1 was declared successful for Prize of 100000 and the other friend did not get any successful bond.
