Just got mine today, Ive been using my old speakers Mackie srm 450 (grey version) for over a year after my Ev's were stolen, i absolutley love mackie srm 450, but these new rcf 912 are such an improvement. i didnt think i would notice such a difference,, but its massive, the new technology is way more impressive.
Recently bought a pair of these and super happy with thier performance, mostly used for karaoke the sound projection is somthing else ! They seem much heavier than the yamaha DBR 12's i was previously using ( they were excellent speakers for the money) but its worth it and the 3 year warranty nice 😊
What cooling system do these speakers use? I have a pair of 945a they are beasts. But in the second gig I used it in for 5 hours the back of the speakers where the amp is got very hot. Is this normal?
Great video. I've been thinking of getting one for personal use. Mainly for the backyard. I have a pool on a half acre lot. Do these sound well outside? How's the bass? I want something that really thumps on the lows/bass. Lmk. Thanks Also, I'm looking for a simple setup "plug and play". To connect to a phone or tablet via Bluetooth or aux cable. Not a dj or anything near that, just for casual use
Can you control all the mixer through the mobile application? I play electric oud with music playback via laptop. do i need to buy for a mixer or i don't have to
Man can’t decide which speakers to go with, these or the Jbl prx812w. I do mobile djaying w open format, I have (2)12s EVs now 1000 watt. But I want more thump and power. What is more reliable (Jbl or rcf) I do use a sub as well. Any suggestions anyone? Thanks!
Which one would be better for DJing… RCF ART 935-A , RCF ART 945-A Or EV ETX 15P? Which one would you chose/ go for if it were you? …I’m torn between these picks as I’m about to get the RCF 935’s (a pair) but I’ve always kindda been an EV guy so I was saving to get the highest end on their line which are the ETX line and I have the budget to do it now BUT, RCFs have been my dream speakers/ sound too for a while… so I don’t know… what do you recommend!? Please 🙏 … I see that a high frequency/ volume the RCF Art 935s are going hard and clean and still giving a good punch/ low end/ frequency which is what I want and need for my DJ music (I’m a open format DJ - All genres) but the EV ETXs are good too at a high volume and RMS (continuous) …and I want to avoid carrying/ having to bring Subs as much as can…for more portability, efficiency and faster set up and break down… and I also heard that the ART 935s compared to the ART 945s are better for the punch low end/ frequency because the ART 945 tweeter/ driver is bigger than the ART 935 thus giving you a more sharp/ flat less Bassy sound… your thoughts/ input on this one please? I’ll greatly appreciate it 🙏
Ja jestem osłuchany z różnymi systemami, i gdybym wszedł do lokalu z zawiązanymi oczami i posłuchał RCF Art 935a to powiedziałbym, że gra zestaw z subwooferem. To jest niesamowite. To jak lekko one grają. Polecam całym sercem, sam jestem nimi zachwycony i myślę, że Ty też to usłyszysz. Pozdrawiam i życzę satysfakcji ze swojej pracy. Hej
Hey buddy, I just got the RCf 912 A they sound great, I use to have the Qsc k12.2 I notice the 912 have more kick bass than the Qsc. Thats a good thing for mobile dj events I guess, but when I use them home to practice or listening it's way too much bass even in the linear setting. I have to eq the bass. any suggestions?
Yes I have. The problem was the position of the speakers and this are not for my living room and sound better at louder volume. The idea was to use them for events and at home for dj practice of course they are overkill for my space. But they sound better now
I am a QSC lover, but these smoke the K12's. The thing is, K12.2s start sounding harsh when you push them. These do NOT. I feel so lucky that I gave these a try. I have never heard any 12's as good as these. No nonsense and man you can REALLLLLY push them.
I bought those speakers, they are not good because the respond of the power came later, after you open a lot the gain master on your mixer from over 12.00 am positionr to 15.00 pm position, then you can listen power.... I had a better respond with my last old 710 Rcf Mk4 speakers! So i'm selling back those speakers the 912 a not good.

Thank you for the nice video! Can you comment on the "basic noise" the speakers produce with no inputs, as compared to other active speakers with similar characteristics? I'm asking because I just had to return EV ETX-10Ps because of the enormous amount of noise they produced when just turned on. The noise made it impossible for me to use them in quieter environments (e.g. panel discussions, bookstore events). I'm aware that some noise is to be expected for active speakers with a reasonable amount of power, but I think the amount of noise differs a lot between different manufacturers/models, and the noise of the EVs was really over the top. I owned RCF ART-310s before, where the noise was almost unnoticeable.
I get lots of noise hiss when I run my driverack pa 2.. I know you didn't say anything about your signal chain but the hiss was driving me crazy just wanted to mention it.
Probably a good idea to get your facts right before stating them in a video? The Art 735 has a maximum peak power output of 1400W with the 935 at 2100W. This is not 3 times the power (as you have stated)

We're glad you're enjoying them Jamie!

I just want 2 of the RCF ART 945 speakers!!!
2100W with 15” seems perfect.
2100w is made up. Picking numbers out of thin air.

Still Made in Italy... worth the LOOK!
That's a good point for RCF!! They don't make them in China like others brands

So if I were using these with a subwoofer, would I set the preset to Stage so it rolls off the low end on the box?
@kerryjohnson7364 you could do that .
Is it ok to use the 945 while inside of the covers?
@@LeisuretecDistribution sorry yes I was referring to while outdoors. The way the cover was designed just made me curious
Whats the diffrence between art and the nx915 a

I think you might mean they cross at 1.3k mate. Nice video thanks.
Yes! Definitely not 13K...😅
hello rcf 915 when loud state eats smell is normal?

@@LeisuretecDistribution yes changing the position has helped a lot
How do they sound vs the HDM35?
How does this compare to the QSC K-Series?
These are not quite as harsh/bright sounding as the QSC in my opinion.

I don’t like how it can’t be set on a 100hz if I’m using it with a subwoofer
@2:20 "...moves the crossover to 13k......" I think he should have said "1.3k". 13k is not a normal crossover point for a 2 way speaker.
Ahhh yes, 1.3k 😅
