If your star player is about to become a free agent and wants to get paid? can’t resign, gotta trade them away or not renew. this means you can’t even sim the draft at the start of the challenge, no over $10m/yr guys at all! So you can’t pick up Giannis and then trade him for 5 9m/yr hoopers. Even if you get a nuts rookie who is like 83 OVR out of the gate and his contract is $10.03m, you gotta not take the decision to sign him. this is a brutal challenge, but could be fun to have a genuine difficult rebuild where you can’t just some how flip Sabonis into Siakam into Booker.

My only question is, what made you put Derozan at the 4, woulda moved Bron down for him at the three because he's better defensively and he's a bigger 3 that can play the 4, and he's three inches taller than DeRozan, so he'd fit better
I was going to suggest that he knew that DeRozan had poor distance sliders but great inside and mid sliders and how with the offense they are running, they're not using him as a stretch 3. Or that he knew Lebron takes and hits more 3s in the 1, 2, 3 than the 4. But then the 4 minute mark hit as i was typing out my first response that i ended up deleting and listening to the video, and apparently he didnt know any of this. It was just a good guess.
