In Rwanda, Botswana, South Africa, Ethiopia, 25-30% of vehicles in these countries are EV (electric) cars & they're increasing those numbers year-by-year. All these countries are NOT oil-producing countries. Actually on Monday, SA reduced fuel prices by 7%. But Nigeria is a failed state & will keep failing cos a house built on lies/deceit/oppression cannot work.
@@czogg99 Of cos, EVs are not even on the agenda in Nigeria. When we cannot even provide fuel for ppl to buy; yet we go around claiming to be giant of Africa. What a joke we have become!
A different perspective could challenge the idea that Nigerians have lost the right to complain. It could emphasize the importance of holding leadership accountable and the complexity of the voting process:
Why converting, at what price are they selling it there, in their local currency? If they sell say 100 Ghana cedis it should 100 naira or less here, stop converting it, if we want to sell crude outside Nigeria we sell at international price, now we have Dangote refinery functioning, what is the essence of selling to him in naira, stop helping these criminals in power in carrying out their corruption.
@@EbukaMark-cu1bk U sell to Dangote in naira using dollar rate, and that rate the PUMP price will be 1200 per litre. if u want reduced prices then sell the crude oil at half its price. This is what other OPCs like libya, qatar etc are doing for their local consumption.
@@philipkay1334 you're correct 💯 but some idiots on this platform are defending a dumb and incompetent president who doubled as the minister of Petroleum.
Nigerians lost their right to complain. We must take whatever we see. You can’t eat your cake and have it. We have soon forgotten how we voted along tribal lines, even when the facts were facing us, right from Buhari till date. Can we deny we didn’t know this govt. had no plans?
If this foreign keep building this terminal and facilities as assest for us but my Big question is can we even maintain and operate them effectively and sustainably.
I get so mad when people try to justify petrol cost hike with the international production cost even when we produce both crude and PMS within the country. Can we also make the cost of everything to be equivalent with the international costs including minimum wage.
Nigerians wake up. Why is this hard for anyone to understand? Your president have a serious conflict of interest in the price of pms. All these years Tinubu have criticised the rot in sunsidy payment/refime, little did we know that he is a beneficiary with his own refinery in Malta rexives huge subsidy. Now Dangote buys crude in naira but why is he now going to sell like his product is refined outside and imported to the extent that the landing cost according to importers is N1,117 but Dangote is going to sell at N1300? The truth is that if he sells below, Tinubu will lose money ehen he brings in his product from his Malta refinery and there lies the conflict of interest. If the national works for the people, Tinubu should have been impeached already.

Reduce the crude oil price for local refinery and then the pump price will reduce.
