    I really love the style of your videos - very aesthetic optically and acoustically! I went for this McLaren as my first MiniZ and then got the same Jorumena, but with switched from what you chose ;)

    That's really cool. I'm looking to buy the Mini Z mazda 787b. I absolutely love the look of it.

      Thanks! 787b is a great LM body. I'm also in the market for an 102mm body but need to wait for Kyosho to produce a new batch.

    I got 1 recently with the lexan roof as well and just have to figure out the best chassis for it. 👍

      Thank you! I ran this body seriously recently. It really worked well. I drove with much more confidence too.

    Hello. I am very new to the hobby and found your video to be really helpful! I was just wondering where to buy the wheels and tires that you are using in this video? Thank you in advance 😊

      Thanks. In this video my car was using a mix of things and a bit weird (not necessarily what I'd recommend). The white front rims are kyosho RE30 wide -1 offset, and the yellow rear rims are PN 5-spoke extra wide 14mm 0 offset. The tires on the front are PN KS medium slick, and the rear are PN KSM super soft radial. You an buy them at places like wolframrc.com or kenonhobby.com.

    I have this car body on my stock and super stock mini Zs. If your regulations allow this what you should do to this body is you should
    1. remove the roof and replace it with the lexan one
    2. Change the wing to the lexan wing
    3. Remove the tail lights
    By doing all this the car will be much much faster. But that's if it's allowed. But as is it's still better than most of the Kyosho bodies.

      Thanks for the tip! How does removing the tail lights improve performance?

      @@sammybaka it reduces the weight of the body. I say there's some aerodynamic advantage since air is passing through those big giant holes in the back of the car sucks it down to the ground. But the people that have been racing with this body longer than I have say that it just reduces weight thus improving handling. Also lowers the center of gravity by a little bit not too much. But every little bit helps.

    Is the pan car body better

    • @sammybaka
      @sammybaka  2 роки тому

      I've only driven a lexan pan car body once so I don't have enough experience. I remember it was very agile and could get around corners faster than I was used to because of the body's extra downforce. In terms of speed, that's better than a hard body like jomurema. A hard body protects the chassis better though and is required in many race classes. So there are some pros and cons.
