This is probably my all-time favorite Tori song. So haunting and beautiful. The lyrics are made up of names of Marc Chagall paintings... "The Marriage", "The Festival", "In Hell", "The Blue Pirouette", "The Wolf Pit"... How much of a genius is Tori?
ruinsane100 the most genius! She channels the energy from her subjects in the most amazing way. This song is also my all time favorite and cooling and Mary's of the sea....she's my all time favorite. Thank you for appreciating her.
@@amberjones50 judging by your top tori picks (and if you add pretty good year, here. in my head, and doughnut song to your list), i think you're my musical soul mate lol.

Maybe I like this song the best of all her songs. It seems to go on forever and I can never get enough. Haunting, beautiful and simply brilliant! Thanks for posting :-)
This is lovely it has taken me five years to hear it, very moving. I lost one of my oldest friends this year and listening to this put me in mind of him. Sad he's gone but hard to be too sad because he loved life and lived it to the full. Those trampled flowers ay. Thank You Tori
This goes right back to the beginning for me. Feels like it could have been on Little Earthquakes as a big sister to Winter and Silent All These Years. Utterly ethereal.
How great can a song be ! So simple in chords but such an impact, specially for me in a very difficult time the same year the song came out. Stil crying when I hear this song. Thank u Tori for recording this song, almost if u were with me during my illness
Best Tori Amos song ever, thanks for putting this "dvd limited beekeeper edition" on you tube, can't find a regular cd version, only one live version on "B of A pavilion Boston MA 8 21 05" from sony/bmg.
wow...this is an amazing "marriage" of sound / visual / text. the song is moving inandofitself but your whole creation brings it to another level. thank you so much.
Sniff sniff snifff...I lent this book out to a friend, we aren't close anymore..bc she got close w/ an ex among other reasons, and then to also hear this song has to do with Boston and artistic directions and influences, and of course Isabella, it all makes why I keep revisiting this song lately. Thank you sooo much!!!! I didn't remeber reading this in the book! XOXO loves.
Excerpts from Piece by Piece Book. Great idea! =D Tori and her explosive and stunning b-sides... This is some serious stuff... Everytime I listen to this song, I feel a switch turning inside... little things, feelings, thoughts, perspectives... I don't know...
Oh, so this bonus track thing turned out to be another modern artsy song. Like "Datura", 'cept with less electro and more piano. Fine with me, it's beautiful.
This song alone is worth more than the whole career of many people.
How did this not make the album but Hoochie Woman did. Like what the actual.

@@joemachine4714 me too ! It’s March 2022 and I’ve been listening to tori since 1997. Where the hell has this song been hiding ? Mind blown 🤯
my all-time favorite too.
C# Minor is such a wonderful, dark key.
This is the most beautiful song I've ever heard in my life. All thanks to the Goddess Tori Amos

enchanted.....so many artists on piano have used these bars since her creation by tori.
speechless when I hear this song.... takes me everywhere I want to go
the piano in this song is so george winston-esque... gorgeous.
...and the vocals are ace, as well, of course.
also vaguely reminds me of the score from the animated film, 'the snowman'...
this song kicks the ass of most of the songs on the beekeeper...
"the blue pirouette..."...ahhhhh.....

+Dave Santos i couldn't agree more. It always calls to me at this time of year.
Dave Santos cause you're a girl masquerading as a male? 😝
Yes! =D
It's "Garlands"
😔 Too bad this album version isn't available for download through iTunes USA 😔 I 💙 THIS SONG TORI !!! 😘
I want Mountain released also
So beautifull =)
Takes me to another world. A better world..
I read those words in "Piece by Piece" and I'm wondering who Isabella could be :)
love
@nikican She sings clean the rest of the song so why complain?
Oh, so this bonus track thing turned out to be another modern artsy song. Like "Datura", 'cept with less electro and more piano. Fine with me, it's beautiful.
@nikican And that only adds to its human-like beauty.
