Why do my notifications go off so late
Thank you Ryan, this was helpful.
My son who used to work on the pit crew for a NASCAR driver he swears by liquid IV
that’s what they use in the dead hot summer when he’d have to wear the fire suit at 100° outside he would be sipping on that liquid IV. It definitely works.
not sure why but had subbed to your channel, then just had to re-sub. YT doing something funky?
liquid IV is the Jam!
What’s good about a white Christmas is that it’s so quiet and peaceful outside
Oh my goodness you're so right. It's definitely peaceful. Everyone is stuck at home with their family whether they like it or not 😆
@@Ni-dk7niif I wake up to black powdery stuff covering everything on Christmas I’m popping a few radiation pills and jumping in the bunker.
This is what everyone needs once a month in cities
Snow can help absorb sound that’s why when it snows a lot it’s usually more quiet then usual
@@Ni-dk7ni I LOL'd.
I'm thanking you for your reports last week. I was in Gallatin, TN held up in my bathroom during the tornadoes. They went around where I was, and I was safe.
I went without power for a few hours and got all of my weather information here. Your coverage was on spot.
People are still cleaning up the mess, but you gave a lot of folks the needed information to stay safer.
I work in Gallatin. Had made it home up in Bethpage before the storms hit. was nasty stuff.
I'm in Hendersonville seems like it jumped my house I only lose a few hundred bucks worth of roofing but my neighbors house has much more damage. I also was hiding in bathroom with my son in the 🛀 it was so scary
In Gallatin also and we were lucky as we live close Vol State and storm tuned after Hendersonville and went toward Airport Rd. Glad you are ok.
Things have changed so much since I was a kid. Being 75 I have seen a lot of winters living in upstate NY. I still remember going out in the morning and having to jump off the front porch as the snow covered the 3 stairs on the bottom. Loved it as we made a lot of money, fo kids way of thinking, shoveling snow in the neighborhood. Also when they would have to come by the house and load snow up in dump trucks so the road would be wide enough for two way traffic on the street. Now retired in the Philippines so all the snow I see is in our refrigerator freezer.
its not like that anymore unfortunately, i live in central NY and its supposed to be 50 degrees christmas day, 10 years ago we would have snow all december, now its just a few inches here and there
Where is Ryan during this major storm?!!
He posted on his second channel - Ryan Hall, Y'all XTRA
Something magical feeling when opening your door on Christmas morning when it's super peaceful out and see snow ❄️ edit: I agree with most of those who commented I only like snow on Christmas otherwise I do not like driving in it, or being cold, and about to potty train a pup in this weather thru the cold nights is gonna stink. Burrr.
Not if u gotta shovel 😅
Lol you're right about that except hubby has to shovel 😅 us women don't like being cold lmao 😂 jk
This time of year ur more likely to wake up to tornado sirens than snow in my neck of the woods
no it fckn sucks. Go live on the Canadian Prairies. Snow is an expensive cold pain in the arse.
Love the sound of nature's white noise when it's snowing out.
Ryan, you're a boss. The only person I know that seems to love weather as much as you is Brad Panovich here in Western NC. Even on his off-hours, he's uploading weather models and forecasts and videos from home just explaining everything that's happening. It's refreshing to see people who are genuinely expressive in their hobbies and interests. Much love, dude.
I love brad!! Im in charlotte!!
Tom skilling. Chicago weatherman.
@@SeaSlug.silly. Right up the road in Statesville! :D Much love, neighbor!
Hah! I was just telling somebody this morning about Panovich's joint pain forecast. Her knees and my sinus were starting to hurt about noon today, and I'd seen Panovich's FB post yesterday. I like his winter stuff too -- informative, without pushing panic. Small world!
Even odds for New England then?
In my 60 years I’ve only seen snow on Christmas Day in Georgia once. We had flurries at Christmas back in the early 1990’s. My friends who had moved here from Michigan could not figure out why their neighbors were outside hoopin and hollering on Christmas morning. They just shook their heads when I clued them in. 🤣🤣🤣
i gotta appreciate how this man can consistently get enough content out of the weather to get millions of views on each video
its all click bait.. you do realize that right?
He’s More accurate than the local guys on TV.
He tells people winter is coming, which gets everyone excited because we just don't see that kind of stuff anymore. It never happens.
@@Gardeningandstuffwithholly Actually he's not. Maybe where you are but most of these guys are wildly off because what they do, their shtick so to speak, is to put up videos for storms that are theoretical in the models 2 weeks out. You wont see local guys doing that. They dont try to predict weather that far out because they know they will be wrong and lose trust. But on UA-cam its all about clicks and subscribers.
We haven't had real snow in Philly for almost three years now. It's unbelievable.
I remember traveling to Philly growing up as my father was from there. We've gotten stranded and had to fly to JFK on an occasion because of snow. I remember my grandfather shoveling the stoop. I can imagine missing it just a little bit.
cuz It's always Sunny in Philadelphia, Bro.
Haven't seen snow in alabama in about 13 years
Same in Baltimore.
hell even up here hey in Wisconsin it's gonna be almost 50 on Christmas. Theres some snow almost every year.
I feel just having a couple snow events make it feel Christmas like. Just some good flurries and a couple nights with snow on the ground make it feel festive.
Strange things have happened over the years. The small city of Freer, Texas which is halfway between Corpus Christi and Loredo, had 6 inches of snow on the ground, Christmas morning 2004, but Jackson, Mississippi, 750 miles to the northeast, has never had one in recorded history.
One secret, Freer is blocked by hills in 3 directions that reach over 700 feet above sea level.
I'm from Ganado Texas and we got around foot of snow during that snowstorm. I believe it was Christmas Eve into Christmas morning. Usually Ganado will only snow about every 5 years or so and its usually like 1/2" or 1". It was insane, I'll remember that for the rest of my life.
It looks like it's going to be close to 50s and sunny over Christmas here in south central Ohio. I do love snow but I'll be very happy for a mild and pleasant Christmas this year and hope it will follow a similar pattern all through until Spring and Summer! It's been a crazy winter so far I must say. I guess it's down to the El Nino phenomenon. Cheers.
Thanks for all the great and enjoyable videos, Ryan. I love hearing from you, especially about snow.😀❤
Always look forward to your weather updates. Thank you for all you and the Y'all squad do.
❤Nice mention of Cincinnati- our home! And we are happy no matter a blanket or no blanket of snow ⛄️ ❄️- just as long as we know Ryan Hall Y’all and his team have us all “covered” (see what I did there?) with excellent , reliable and helpful weather casting. Thanks Ryan to you and your family - Happy Christmas and Merry New Year 🎉!
Winter storm coming to the East Coast this weekend. And my weather guy has checked out
This year feels the least christmasy. So not having snow just sets the town. 🤷♀️
I've heard so many people say that, and I feel the same.
My family has had a very difficult 18 months. First I lost my brother, then our business, then we were homeless, then my mother-in-law passed as well. So Christmas was hard last year and it's hard again this year. I would rather skip it tbh, but that isn't fair to my kids. So I try and struggle through.
I feel Christmasy ❤ Sorry you don't. It will be ok 👍
@johnrogers9481 your barking up the wrong tree bro. I do imaginary friends. 🤷♀️🤷♀️
I'm sorry that your virgin sky baby didn't show up this year without any snow.
Man, last year was absolutely nuts. Here in Eastern KY, a few days before Christmas, we had like half a foot snow and -30 or so wind chill (around -5 actual temp), and then around New Year's or so, it reached damn near 80. Never seen anything like that. Weather here is as bipolar as it gets, but even that was batshit crazy. lol
Minnesota was way worse with wind chills in the -60F! Yes, negative 60
Last winter was screwed up and I’m afraid how much worse it will get. TEOTWAWKI.
Wooo yes love it ❤❤❤
Ohio saying, if you dont like the weather wait 15 minutes lol
@@MagpieAnnie73i got fired for calling off during the level 3
You do great job with weather keep up with the great content sir I also like watching your carrying live streams on sever weather days keeping people informed also glad I buyed the hurricane black mug its awesome
It will change and very fast...
A lot of things are gonna take place. Just be ready for anything. Be safe Blessed be...
Thanks for all you do Ryan! Great forecast and I hope to see this channel continue to grow!
Thanks for all your hard work Ryan and team!!!🎉🎉🎉
Hope y'all have a great 🎄🎁
Warmest winter I've seen in my 22 years living in Bozeman, MT. No snow on the ground at all, unusually warm, only been two or three small storms....praying for a miracle!
I always trust and enjoy these forecasts. You all do a wonderful job.
I’ve lived in northern Minnesota for almost 40 years, there has never not been snow but this year it’s pretty skimpy but trust me, I’m not complaining!!!
oh it'll come next year during jan-march when you least expect it just like like last year in wisconsin
Thanks for all your hard work Ryan and team!!!
Hope y'all have a great
I live in deep deep south Texas. We are happy as long as it cloudy with a 55 fahrenheit temp.
Here near Charlotte NC I’ve been praying for a white Christmas for years. Keeping my fingers crossed as always.
Lol NC ain’t getting no snow, haha. Maybe Raleigh but haha
@@darthregulusone can hope! 😂
I love Charlotte NCA my God to dream❤
@@darthregulus snow on xmas is one of those topics where we gotta see to believe it. cant believe that we've actually had snow on xmas (not sticking) for these past few years
CLT area had a white Christmas back in 2012
What's best about snow is seeing dog breeds, like huskies, go crazy with love and zoomies as they play in it. Nothing like a happy dog! I swear they look forward to snow more than any human😊
Love how you are doing all you must to make profits on UA-cam but you mainly have passion and always give an honest forecast without hyping it up even though me as a snow lover wants tons of it
Great job!!! Please continue with the warmer than usual, no snow forecast for my area . . . for the rest of the season!!!
I've been learning the cycles of the calendar as described in Scripture, and things are lining up with us being about a month behind what we would usually expect for this time of year since last cycle had a 13th month and the year didn't truly start until the beginning of May. We are really only in what is the 8th month until the next full moon, then the 9th month, so right in the middle of Autumn. Shalom and thanks for all that goes into your updates!
Forecasts are calling for near 50° temp for Christmas day here in Michigan, we enjoyed a December motorcycle ride yesterday with a very mild 52° and sunny.
Always love seeing your new video alerts!!
I remember Christmas morning last year very well. We were in Murray, KY. in the western side of the state and when we left our hotel at 9 in the morning it was -7° F with a wind chill of -19°F. Yes there was a dusting of snow although not sure if it was an inch. The wind was howling all day and much of the next. Yikes that was too cold indeed 🥶.
I LOVE SNOW!!!! Born and raised in New York (Long Island) and live in northern VA so I barely see snow but love it. I'm even the brave one driving in it🤣🤣
Used to live and lobster fish in Maine and we had white Christmases all the time, now I miss it. Because my work relocated me to East Texas. Been here for 20 years and am still in culture shock, but Texas has a way of growing on/in you.
Sadly another abnormally warm Christmas in Chicago. It looks like the weather forecasters are saying it's supposed to get much colder during the first week of January but still no big snows going all the way to the end of January
Thank you for keeping us up-to-date you I will do a great job happy holidays from my family to you all
This is why I liked living in Vegas during Christmas time. A 45 minute drive and you are in Mount Charleston and can see snow 6 months out of year, including almost all of December. Visiting snow is easier than living in it.
We were snowed in with Blizzard last Christmas in Buffalo, 43 ppl died, so im fine if we get no snow this year. Its been oddly warm still here.
This just doesn't feel like Christmas this year. Anybody else feel this too ?
I’ve been feeling that way too.
My husband & I are noticing trees lit earlier, houses more decorated and we 💬 nk it is a way of battling that feeling.
Go to concerts, play Christmas music around the house & watch all your favorite Christmas movies, help those less fortunate...don't give in!
Merry Christmas! 🙏✝️🎅🌲🕊️
Greed, inflation, war, 50°F in Ohio in December. Madness
@@MissyMuthaTruckiN Much happiness for the last one..😂
Eh…maybe, but it’s not about the snow, it’s about the real meaning for the season which for us is Jesus Christ Birth. The snow adds to the feeling but it isn’t everything.

I’m dreaming of a grey Christmas
Looks like a bummer. I’m hoping for a lot of snow. But not holding my breath
Thank you for your weather report. Looking forward to the next one.
Thank you, Ryan. Hoping for a snowy winter in NH!
My daughter introduced me to your channel. I love it. I live in Southwest Louisiana. I only remember having a white Christmas one time. It was magical. I remember many Christmas mornings dressing in shorts, tee shirts and, flip flops. I am over 72. Loved every one snow or no snow. ❤
I'm in Winston-Salem nc and want snow so bad. Been in Florida for over 10yrs. I missed the snow and cold weather. So tired of being hot all the time
It's called free air-conditioning lol
As far as colorado goes the state has recorded snowfall every month of the year in every part of the state not just the mountains. It can snow in may here I've seen it generally memorial day is when it warms up more consistently anyway and the snow stops in summer March in colorado is generally the snowiest month and weirdest month for weather.
Thanks for the weather update, Ryan give the weather team a shout-out and hope everyone has a Wonderful Christmas.. Love and Blessings to All 🌍❤️🌅🌑🌌🌕🌧️🌈🌬️🏞️♥️
Congrats Ryan. So glad for you and your wife in your wonderful family.
Let's get some snow in South Carolina! It's about time. That rogue storm looks like it's gonna pass right through here 🤞🤞🤞
This will continue to be the only place I get my weather updates. Spot on EVERY time.
Ryan, you're absolutely killing it. Another weather enthusiast I can think of is Brad Panovich here in Western NC. Even during his downtime, he's constantly sharing weather models, forecasts, and videos from home, breaking down everything that's going on. It's always great to see people who are truly passionate about their hobbies and interests. Sending much love, dude.
Rain, snow or sun, Merry Christmas, God be with you thru the New Year Ryan and You all.
Thanks Ryan for confirming that we Kentuckians will have no chance for snow on Christmas. What a bummer, but its no surprise given Alexa says its 56 at my house today.
Thanks for all your reporting on the tornadoes man. I was atleast prepared when they hit. Missed me by about half a mile, got damn lucky. ❤ From Hendersonville
I was just north of Nashville in my semi. Drove through a hour before...
Christmas feels the best when there is snow on the ground! 💁🏼♀️❄️

Plus, how are you fairly accurate (very accurate for your profession) when my local people are about as reliable as a wheelbarrow with no wheel?? Thank you!
WHAT is going on in South Florida?????
LOTS OF WIND & now Rain!!!
Blizzard here last year in Buffalo. It was crazy, but silent night (except for the wind) was beautiful. My son was able to see his first major storm. It was lovely! 🌲♥️
Well I'm jelly 😂❤❤❤ love it
We had 5 feet of snow Christmas 2017 in Erie, Pennsylvania! Buffalo NY sometimes gets 7 feet of snow! Skier here, I love SNOW! 🇩🇪🇨🇭🇺🇲❄️☃️⛄☃️🎄⛷️🏂⛷️🏂⛷️
Now that I got away from Wisconsin 22 years ago I am very happy here in North Carolina seeing snow on the mountain tops and any snow I get melts in hours or a day or 2. No More Shoveling. Leaf blower maybe. 🥳 Happy New Year !!
I remember a few Christmas’s ago here in East TN we had a whole foot of snow on the ground which is insane for this area! It was so fun! We opened gifts and then went sledding! Came back inside frozen solid to morning coffee and Christmas casserole! Best Christmas ever!
I'm just south of Cleveland, OH and I'm really hoping for a GREEN Christmas! It would be even better to be back in S CA with sun, warm Pacific breezes & palm trees, but we were stupid and moved to OH. As long as there's no snow, I'm ok.
Hoping for the storms to hit CA 🤞we need the rain and snow
I live in Hays, KS, so I never worry about bad weather. Incoming weather hangs either a right or left at Colby, KS and misses us completely.😊😊😊😊 Happy Christmas and Merry New Year.
52° on Christmas Day here in Nebraska. Love it
I grew up never seeing a white Christmas because I'm from Arkansas. I live in Pennsylvania now, and whether or not I get a white Christmas isn't that critical. I'll feel totally blessed and happy if I can just spend it with those I love.

A white Christmas would be awesome. Snow and Christmas just go hand in hand.
But even without a white Christmas if we can get some snow or ice in the south would be a blessing.

I love your updates. ❄️. ☀️.
Hi Ryan!
Thank you for the content. Living in Columbus, Ohio, I knew the chances of a white Christmas were already low. So, no disappointment there.
There's just something about where Columbus sits where snow and stormy weather either goes north or south of us. Instead of severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, heavy snow, etc...that cities like Chicago and Memphis face, we get lots of clouds and are one of the gloomiest cities in the U.S., as a result. It's just one of those flukes related to the jet stream.
It is gloomy here also. We have gotten some rain the last few days, I doubt enough to ease our drought.
Truthfully I like the idea of being warm and no snow for Christmas,,,, I'm here in the twin cities in Minnesota and it's 40°,,, so calming without worrying about sliding and crashing your car ,,,,, happy holidays everyone
Same 😂
What about the ice castles and the skiing and ice fishing?
Here's wishing your family and you a very Happy New Year 2024! Thanks for all you do for your subscribers!

From what I understand, my area actually won't have a white christmas for the first time in a very long time. Granted if storms are gonna come in regardless, guess it's a good thing I bought a weather radio in case any of 'em become severe
edit: Plus, even if we don't get a white christmas, I'm fairly confident that just like the years before, january and february are gonna hit hard in terms of snow, although only time will tell
Here’s to hoping that one storm does come through. I think I said on a different video that the weather forecast changes not only day by day but sometimes hour by hour. It’s the nature of nature, things can be unpredictable. So hopefully something strange happens this year!
🎶🎶 The sun to shine by day and all the stars and night,
Mele Kalikmaka is Hawaii's way to say Merry Christmas to you. 🎶🎶🎶
I love these temps in Oklahoma this time of year. It's mild and I am fine with it. But I like snow too
While a snow covered Christmas may be festive eye candy for those who have a warm home and clothes and plenty of food, it is misery and even death to homeless beings, both humans and animals. If you have any animals, please think of them when it is cold and snowy. Make sure their water is mot frozen and that they have plenty to eat. They depend on the calories to give their bodies some warmth. Provide shelter from the wet and the wind. Then celebrate heartily!
I am anticipating a very large snow storm eventually in the NE. With the way these rain storms are going, at least one should be a big snow:)
The rain is insane
Too bad the temp goes way up when it rains. No snow this month in NE
