These are the type of singers that in their prime paved the way for new singers, displayed good command of technique with ease while still being able to emote. Ps. She came in bit late in the intro lol. She was on top of it though ( the drummer hinted at the beat with the high-hat hit). So cute.
Which 2017 Celine can still do ;) The new stuff of hers that he has reacted to is just sort of average, it's not too impressive... but lately in 2017 Celine's pulled off so many more vocals that just add to her legacy. Sure she's aged, but age for Celine doesn't mean anything... Everything from her summer tour this year was absolutely amazing. All amazing performances. 2016 she was very nasal but a lot of that has gone away, and during this tour she barely lip synced anything. Yes I like to see her old stuff but the new stuff is so good too, I re-watch her performance of Think Twice in London 2017 at least once a day.
ChrisTheAppleOne Celine is impressive, still. Celine can not "still" do Celine of 87 to 2002. She was still formidable up to 2008. Today she's great and a classic.
She can do the 90s Celine, just with a different voice. Her voice is different, but the agility and the range is definitely still there. Her technique is not as polished as it once was, and she's not as consistent, but if you put in her in the studio and gave her a couple tries, she would easily be able to do any runs or riffs she ever did in the 90s... she's had so many legendary moments in 2017 especially on her tour.

But you simply cannot compare prime Celine with her current instrument. She cannot do "90's Celine" in 2017. Period. She's ofcourse still impressive, it's Celine Dion we're talking about, she will always be a "Singer's Singer".

This performance is from 2004, and here she can still sing like she ever did before. She can still do that today. 2017 has been a good year for Celine. The only performance from 2017 you have reacted to is her My Heart Will Go On... which was complete autotune and she lipped the chorus... MOST likely because of the TV network. That performance is complete CRAP compared to her 100% no autotune or lip sync performances over her summer tour. But PLEASE watch ANY video from her Summer tour and react to it... During the summer tour she completely KILLED IT! She's even better than she was in 2016, and believe me when I say that.
