those first five minutes of you talking about your book were so inspiring, i really like how you have this fluency with words and how you can express your ideas so clearly, it's something that i'm always working on
What fills me with curiosity is where does she find the perfect musics to guide you through her feelings and through the narrative she sets, with the music being both royalty free and still having the complexity to accomplish its purpose
i'm doing my master's abroad an when eva is ranting about her exchange and "not being present", she can express so well the things I'm also feeling. seeing this makes me feel less alone. thank you
This is actually such a coincidence, i was JUST discussing with a friend-my irrational fear of the fleeting-ness of time and how I’m always overwhelmed with yearning to go back, whenever i think about the past. And when you delve deeper you realize your perception of the past is only the good parts and you were probably equally stressed, sad, etc at that point of time as well. It’s just important to stop lingering on the past and dreading the future and rather start anticipating the life coming at you, the life you are presently living. It’s also come to my notice that we were reading perks and Normal people around the same time too, its pretty freaky lol.
Before I clicked on this video, I was feeling dissatisfied with my life and wishing I could go back in time for a redo- which was prompted by endless scrolling on instagram and comparing my life to others. Your description and reflection of that book sent me to instant tears, and was really something I needed to hear. It flipped a switch in me, and I have never felt more inspired to make the most of my days even in the simplest of ways. Thank you for these videos and being vulnerable, they have truly influenced me in such great ways
this video came at a perfect time and is just what i needed. i’ve been sitting around, feeling really bad and constantly wishing for a time machine so i could go back to simpler times. you made me realize that i can do things with my life right now (that don’t necessarily have to be productive) that can take me out of comfort zone. it’s so easy to forget that i have control of my day-to-day life and that i CAN choose to do new things. your videos always inspire me to go out, take care of myself, live my life, spend time with people that make me feel good, and nourish my body with good food and my mind with some good literature. thank you eva 💗
Honestly eva love your videos, I relate so much, as some one who is abroad and working I am always thinking what about the next thing, always worrying about missed oppetunities or comparing myself to others. It is nice to know I am not alone and its okay to feel that way. I always look forward to your videos. They always give me fresh perspective.
copenhagen, just like most scandinavian cities, seems like such an authentic vibe, with lots of culture and non frenchise shops & restaurants. I would LOVE to go there one day, and i am definetely using your video's for some insp heheh
Eva, every time your travel vlogs come up, I am truly so excited! I’ve been to a lot of places/restaurants u’ve recommended in Italy&Paris, and it was the best decision! can’t wait till ur next travel vlogs come up🩵🌼
i had never considered traveling abroad for school, but seeing your life through your videos makes me wanna try it out. i AM IN AWE with how artistic your edits and language use is
You are the first person I thought of when I finished this book! Flaneuse: Women Walk the City in Paris, New York, Tokyo, Venice and London by Lauren Elkin. I know you will love it - you are actually living it!
So so glad to see more of you in this video, Eva ... and to hear your thoughts on reading, studying and traveling brings such meaning to your video! Keep diving deep 💓
my fav posted yayyy!! idk how i've noticed but you have been growing so much recently and it makes me so happy. i have watched you for 2 and a half years and i'm pretty sure you had around 200k when i subscribed 🥹 you deserve all the love you have been receiving recently and so much more
I love your channel Eva!❤So happy that you are doing UA-cam. Your philosophical approach to your videos makes you really stand out from other UA-cams. I am captivated listening to your thoughts and views on life. After I watch a video of yours, i feel like it also added something positive to my life: making me reflect and simultaneously learn something through your lense of experiences and lessons.
You are literally my favorite youtuber now❤I honestly binge watch your vlogs when I feel low, and they cheer me up🎉 Your videos are so much fun, magical , aesthetic and lively..and your edits are mind blowing❤
from a french reader : if you liked le soleil des scorta then you have to read « salina » from the same author, and a book saga named « des grives aux loups » by claude michelet. wonderful books i promise, i’d be glad to know what you’ll think about it
Salina c’est vraiment la meilleure œuvre que j’ai pu lire !!! Les images sont « violentes » mais elles sont décrites par des mots très bien choisis de sortes à ce que ça ne soit pas cru. Si t’as d’autres recommandations je suis preneuse
In the first part of the video you were just taking the words right out of my mouth! I've been feeling just like you and I felt so inspired to follow the way you're thinking! Thank you for being one of the best people online, ly
I remember last year on an August monday, i was sick and skipped school. This video popped up on my feed and i fucking loved it. Amd ever since then ive been watching you its been a year 😭 and your videos still amaze me
Hi Eva! Can you make a list of all the books you recommend? Or a video on how you choose out your books or the best books youve read before? PS I recommend you read of human bondage! One of the best I've ever read
quick question: have u made a video or have u talked about how to apply to study abroad or where to look those things, idk, i’m really lost about those things and i really wanna do it in the future
Hey Eva! If you want to read another intergenerational book, I can't recommend Pachinko by Minjin Lee enough. It's an astounding book, although it is unfortunately in english.
Eva's videos take you through stories and make you feel like you're a part of the experience like you're being projected there
