I’m thinking about returning to Myanmar for a third time. There’s so much more to see there. I feel like I’m in another world when I visit Myanmar. Nice video!
Thanks! Myanmar is my favorite country in Southeast Asia. I’ve been back twice and every time I go, It just amazes me. This area is really special. There’s almost no tourist there.
@@whereivebeenwandering Exactly! You don’t get the drunken idiots in Myanmar. I would like to travel further down Inle Lake this time. I would never go back to Mandalay - I only went there to see the bridge and Mingun. I could get lost in Bagan for several days again. I’ve used the same tour guide twice.
It deters mosquitoes definitely. And it's not for sunscreen. But in general it's their tradition. My myanmar friend here in Singapore they use thannaka so that the face won't be oily. I use to have pimple on both my cheeks and forehead. I use thannaka everyday. At work, at home. Thankfully, my face is back to normal. No more acne.
My myanmar friend beside me tells me that this face tattoo ladies, will tattoo their face when they get married to indicate that they've already taken. But those who are not married. They don't have to tattoo their faces. It's interesting though.
А very exotic trip along the river. I have done it, too!
Yes! It’s a great trip

All people in Myanmar were so nice
Is this halkha district or tedim or falam
I’m not sure which district this is
These ladies look really intriguing. Great
They are beautiful ladies
Does Tanaka repel mosquitoes too?
I’m not sure about that. It might. I know it’s primarily a sunscreen more than anything
