I used mine to commute from Highgate to Westminster in London every day back in 1969. Mine had the wideline featherbed frame. I think a 1958 model. I rode it down from Edinburgh to London while I was working there then rode it back up when my working stint in London came to an end. Good days!
I have this bike 30 years ago. Tears from my eyes. My friends say: bum-bum-bum..and Norton! This time i riding Honda Hornet, good, but it is no NORTON!
No problem, it pulls really well at low revs , if I ride out with my girlfriend on her 125 Suzuki I stay in 3rd and 4th all day while she's dancing on the gears,
The Es2 looks to be a really nice bike, I shall have to get one before the prices skyrocket even more. Currently riding a '59 Velocette Venom owned for 33 years, nice machine with good lights from an RM23 alternator. Ralf Seymour played around with it before I had it. A few years ago I was times at just over a 100 mph by a lad following me on a CBR. I can only surmise that his speedo was a little fast.

Looked like a nice ride, did you manage to get it into fourth gear?
