half of this DRAMA for me is Shen Du's emotion olay, and unbelievably all accomplished by just the movement of his eyes, the very very stuble change from emotionless to intense feeling for the wife- THE hard core fighter with a tragic past and that easy walk to a face of absolute adoration and tenderness for his wife... Ding Yuxie is amazing. and so are the rest of the crew- IN a way the FL is very much LIke Shendu. Innocent, kind soft - BUT has a steel will and determination to provide justice for those wronged . The 2nd male lead is another damn good actor.. he conveys that inner struggle , he is evil but confronted with the innocence and kindness of his love, he gets soft.. so much like Shen Du .. Yikes I cant get enough of this drama..Visuals, cinematography and ugh Ding Yuxie's acting is divine. HE HAS GROWN up so well..
Yes truly , Best romance historical drama w/ perfect casting ,amazing acting w/ all the cast..especially Deng Enxi & Ding Yu sing as best couple in this drama.. ,they perfectly match in this drama and love all the scenes being together.. congrats & job well done 👏👏
I don't know if anyone from the crew be reading this, but I absolutely loved and enjoyed watching the show when it was airing, and even after that. I waited for new episodes every day and it's something I don't regret. The entire cast's acting, charecters and costumes were so on point and even, the two main leads are the ones to keep me hooked into the story the most. As good as the script was, Ryan Ding's acting from the first episode itself convinced me to watch it and it was worth the time. He's indeed really hard working with a wide range of emotions and makes you feel things even without dialogues. The lead heroine, was so good, unexpectedly that I forgot how young she is. Infact, her crying scenes made me cry as well 😅 but their chemistry was undeniable. Melody of Golden Age has been added to one of my favourite dramas of all time now, and I don't know how many more times I'm gonna rewatch it 😂 and, Ryan Ding has always been the best. Hope to see Yuxi-Enxi couple together in some other project in future too. ❤

One of the best Chinese dramas I’ve watched in recent years. I really love the chemistry between the two leads. The acting is great. Yanxi is so natural it’s amazing and shendu is brilliantly done by tingyuxi. I’ve not watched his shows but he is great in this drama. I’ve had enough of weak and and twerpy looking generals in recent dramas. So much rubbish. The female lead would make a brilliant lead in dream of the red chamber.
This is a masterpiece in every aspect👍 Every single actor and actress (whether they are lead or supporting stars) are so talented and brought all their respective characters to life with superb skills and precision👍 And the directing, the styling, the plot, the clothes, the set up, the buildings, the production etc etc are all top notch and on point! The creators of this drama did a fantastic job!👍👏👏Awesome!! A production that's worthy of rewatching again and again. Bravo!!😃👍👏👏

Beautiful drama from scene set up, shot, transition, makeup, clothing, and scripts, especially the 2 leads dialog. The ML did a pretty good job here. I think this is his best work. He acted differently than his other character and was more powerful. Fl played very well with cuteness naturally, smart and great emotional scenes.

Such an interesting documentary! So much of hard work they put into it. It’s definitely very soothing to watch after work late at night. They have created a master piece but remain so humble. Can’t believe the actors get so affected by the emotions even after the scene. Not an easy job! Well done everyone.

The production design on this show is brilliant and sophisticated on an artistic level. From steadycam pans to the drawing of the eyes to each different angle is so nice. Really made me think of the brilliance of Miyazaki films but live-action. Gotta love and appreciate the attention to detail and storytelling. ❤

Chinese drama Melody Of Golden Age is the best drama in terms of interesting storylines and getting carried away with the story of this drama and in my opinion this is the most favorite drama in terms of the characters of this drama player especially I got carried away with Shen Du's cold character and unpredictable behaviour and nature and it is difficult not to fall in love with women easily and Yanxing is a strong and ambitious woman. I hope that this drama will always be successful and the second season will be made😊❤🇮🇩🍉💐

I'm new to this genre and have already found that Melody of Golden Age will be hard to match because I have been looking for my next series =)) The sets were amazing and I loved the characters.. the main ones and the side ones with their own stories. I despised the villain and the ones who worked with him... My only comment is the ending felt rushed to me... boom boom boom and all was forgiven.. in particular, I think, Shen Du's side man had become quite cold and villainous to innocent people and he was salvaged right along with Shen Du.. I missed it if he was part of Shen Du's scheme.. and the ending in general could have been broadened... In my heart I thought Shen Du would have remarried Yan Xing and that happiness would have been a good ending. Anyway, loved it and will no doubt watch it again to catch the bits I missed the first time.
I Love them . Id want a MODERN drama with exact story LINE. SAME actors- Corporate struggle with the leads on diff side. Forced to marry to save both of their corporate

很喜欢这部戏，开始时喜欢男主的高冷和善良，后来喜欢他对女主的一往深情和关爱入心，危难时总是护着女主，体贴入微，现实里太难得的真心真意，侬情密意，百看不厌！让人找回初心的感觉！
男主造型好看，武打也很好看，很有型！演技拿捏得好！
女主才19岁的年纪，甜美可爱，演得挺好，与男主互动得自然，很般配！男主女主都情感细腻，细微入戏！
我喜欢他们的感情戏，家人的，朋友的。
最后几集就有点马马虎虎，交待不清的感觉！
太喜欢男主女主这一对，觉得他们就真该是一对儿！

I'm new to this genre and have already found that Melody of Golden Age will be hard to match because I have been looking for my next series =)) The sets were amazing and I loved the characters.. the main ones and the side ones with their own stories. I despised the villain and the ones who worked with him... My only comment is the ending felt rushed to me... boom boom boom and all was forgiven.. in particular, I think, Shen Du's side man had become quite cold and villainous to innocent people and he was salvaged right along with Shen Du.. I missed it if he was part of Shen Du's scheme.. and the ending in general could have been broadened... In my heart I thought Shen Du would have remarried Yan Xing and that happiness would have been a good ending. Anyway, loved it and will no doubt watch it again to catch the bits I missed the first time.

這戲男女主角很好看，女主角很可愛又漂亮，王威導演和美術布景很棒。前面很好看像喜劇，編劇後面6集都亂編一通，太皇太后昏庸到不行，最後面6集跳過，直接看40集。第19集顏幸幫沈渡縫傷口後，用嘴咬斷線，完全不怕細菌感染，令人傻眼。😅 我本來以為顏幸是書記官，看了幾集發現顏幸是法醫，檢察官和書記官都做，也令人傻眼，感覺編劇們沒唸過刑事訴訟法和刑法。😅😅😅
