I recently scored that casting so I looked it up. The Thomassima III is actually based on the Farrari model of the same name. Also got the Willy's 1941. That color and the Black one. I agree. One of my top 10's of all time. Flipout wheelie bar too. Finally found the '65 Corvette casting I needed to complate my Bone Blazers series. The Nash metropolitan is the car used to construct 2020's Legends winner Nashhole. Also scored Muscle Tone today. Dune Devil is Roll Cage on American blisters. Sadly its lost its spare tire. Only need 8 more to complete this set.
2000 the great futuristic year of the past :-) actually the Thomassima 3 is an existing car but tbh for the long time I also thought it was fantasy , the lotus 340R was originally a concept but it went into very limited production the Isuzu vehicross ( my today favorite ) was a mass produced ( like a regular vehicle ) weird suv in the late 90's ( Doug demuro did review one a while ago ) :-)
I love collecting the first editions, gotten a bit out of hand XD, but usually Hot Wheels go above and beyond with the detail in first editions. They also don't usually put ugly decals on the cars which is nice.
Thanks for watching! First editions are great to collect, I collected all the first editions for '98, '99, '00 and '01. Prior to '98 there were less 1st's but harder to find in the wild. After '01 I just bought the ones I liked because there were too many fantasy castings. I'll show the '01's that includes many fantasy soon.

Well, depends on who's selling them and the rarity/desirability of a particular edition. Such as the first edition Mustang Mach 1 from '98, it was issued in yellow but also in a neon orange. Yellow is more common so from what I saw on Ebay, $8.99 in package and the orange $10.99. You can Google everything so just have to shop around to get the best deals. Shipping can be more expensive than the casting so if you have Facebook Market Place then you might find someone locally that will give you a better deal. Why is it so important to collect everything sooner or later you have to decide who you are going to leave your collection to because we do not live forever and you can't take it with you when you die
I can easily donate my collection to a worthy cause upon my demise, until then why not enjoy collecting ALL the cars I love in miniature! Appreciate your comment!!
