Hello, question if you can help. I have an 08 accord with a TSSOP chip, a lot smaller than regular SOP or SOIC. Have you ran into these and if so what was your method to read them? Desolder or what?
Hi guy... you have some very good videos. I am retired and starting a small automotive locksmith business... I have an extensive background in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and repair. So electronic in cars was a easy conversion for me.... Of course I have to jump off into a Ram 3500 first thing that has a WIN module out. My problem stemmed from my own ignorance ... I bought a replacement from a Dealer on line assuming I would get the code with the new part.... Wrong!!!! They tell me to take it to the dealer... So my question is this... can I read an eeprom in the WIN to get the new code... I have a XTool Pro Pad 2 and have pulled pin codes from about anything I hook it up to so far. It comes with eeprom reading capability but the equipment supplied requires removing the chip and plugging it into a device that can read the chip.... however I did just order a probe like you demonstrate so I don't have to remove the chip from the board... I opened up the old WIN module to see if I could spot the chip but couldn't find it - all the 8 pin chips looked too small to plug into the attachments and non of them had any part numbers that identify them as the proper chips... So my question is this... is there a way for me to pull the code from a new WIN module that has not been programed to a car yet???? This crap about the dealer selling a part without all the information to allow for instillation is pure BS.... I am going to look into the Right To Repair laws and see If I can bust that crap up.... Especially since Chrysler / Dodge /Jeep is having such crap WIN modules. Thanks in advance ...
Hi Jareth how are you, hope you are doing well, I'm the locksmith guy, have a small question, of course if you don't mind to help me. Can vvdi prog read 05 sequoia eeprom (93LC66A)? I need to add key, cannot refresh, customer still have a keys but far away
I tried to program a key on a new Honda ignition, but the key wouldn't program. So we put the old antenna on the new ignition, and the key was able to be programmed. Can this machine help out in this situation?
Hey which machine works better ar 32 or the vvdi..

Thats a tricky system but so long as you meet conditions to isolate the EEPROM then yes.
@@JarethGarza actually just got it, thank you anyway, i appreciate your quick response. Thanks a lot
Hello, why you did not write using the vvdi prog?
I tried to program a key on a new Honda ignition, but the key wouldn't program. So we put the old antenna on the new ignition, and the key was able to be programmed. Can this machine help out in this situation?
Jose Oro Absolutely
I see that you use the VVDI and the Tango machines, do you need both of them or can one do the job.
