I agree. The Order 1886 really is CGI quality graphics 100% in-game. I also believe Quantic Dream has always been a competitor in graphics with ND while on PS3. Uncharted 2 from ND 2009, QD Heavy Rain 2010. 2013 ND The Last of Us, QD Beyond two Souls 2013. If The Dark Sorcerer is only a tech demo running on PS4, but with BTS's engine , I can't imagine how incredible looking there PS4 game will look with the new engine They've created.
On the Ps3 the big guys for graphics are Naughty Dog Guerrilla Games and Santa Monica with God of War, this generation Ready at Dawn and Evolution Studios are the big surprise IMO they're surely more than welcome if they give us this kind of fidelty on games(:

The Order 1886 is a sleeping giant! I have a feeling that it will become one of those iconic games that puts the developer on the map! And man do they deserve it after all the great work they did for Sony on the PSP. And guess what? This was a developer that Sony started supporting through the Indie phase. So keep on knocking Sony for helping developers find their voice on the Playstation through Indies.
To anyone wondering why there's no multiplayer, the creator of the game mentioned that his main effort and focus was on the single player campaign only, so that players can familiarize with its story and characters. By adding multiplayer, he felt that it will spoil the single player campaign since this is a brand new IP. If the game turned out successful, he would add multiplayer in future sequels.
Visually atleast this game looks mind blowing! I must say, i hate letter box in games. But actually for once this is a game that seems to make it work. Might have to wait and see what it feels like when i get the game. But it doesn't look out of place. It actually seems to fit in without taking away from the experience. The game looks fantastic! Can't wait to see what's in store for this game. I'm hoping for a system seller! This game is a game we've been waiting for. And it does seem to shape up to a great experience! This has the potential to be another huge Sony franchise. It looks like it took a lot of gameplay cues from the Last of Us. My only complaint is that they should have another gaming mode like zombies or at least something equivalent to Spec Ops in COD.

My main concern is that reviewers and players won't get the 2.40:1 aspect ratio and this will lead to other game developers doing the same thing to get that "nextgen" graphics. Consoles already suffers from low FOV and we don't need to get even less view with black borders.

Game studios aren't doing gamers Justice. Games are produced way too quickly. Imagine a game this beautiful with much more, and more diverse, gameplay. I'd be willing to wait a few years for the masterpiece that would be. As a huge Assassin's Creed fan Ubisoft is perhaps the worst example of pumping them out too quickly. They make a big deal about realistic cloth in the game environment, but if there is still clipping in it, it's game over... Nothing annoys me more about games that try and be "realistic" is the insatiable clipping all of them have. You see it when they are standing on the hot air balloon and the guy on the right has rope in his hand and it clips through his jacket...

Notice how the devs are talking more about the graphics than the story. This is a warning sign to me because it could mean that the story is going to be bland. Look at Naughty Dog for example. They would talk about the story and the characters' relationships with each other while being able to show off how good the game looked. However, Im really hoping that Im wrong. After all, game development companies owned by Sony are known to go the extra mile when developing their games. I guess we just have to see how this turns out. Heres to hoping.

Please don't hate me my fellow gaming brothers but I've lost any excitement I had for this game. I don't mind it being linear but from what I've seen and heard from players that had the demo (or beta version) its extremely linear. And from the numerous and constant scenes that's been used as promotional video, it seems the linear style aka hand holding extreme; is still there. I want this game, would love to play this game but it needs more than just looks going for it. I want to be proven wrong and hope when i releases it becomes great but as of now I see it being way overhyped.
I think the only thing that can hold this game back would be overly used QTE for scripted combat. I have high hopes for this game, but QTE really sucks the enjoyment out it. Why can't I just hit an attack button, heavy hit or light hit, and a cutscene of that choice pops up? Why are we still playing the cheap QTE effects?
This and Bloodborne make me happy as a PS4 gamer. No one with a working pair of eyes can deny this games beauty and detail.

when will people get over 60 vs 30 fps my god wait till it comes out and play it if its fun great another awesome game if it sucks cry about it then...
Notice how the devs are talking more about the graphics than the story. This is a warning sign to me because it could mean that the story is going to be bland. Look at Naughty Dog for example. They would talk about the story and the characters' relationships with each other while being able to show off how good the game looked.
However, Im really hoping that Im wrong. After all, game development companies owned by Sony are known to go the extra mile when developing their games. I guess we just have to see how this turns out. Heres to hoping.
They want to keep the story in secret. They don't want to spoil anything. Just like Christopher Nolan did with Interstellar

Please don't hate me my fellow gaming brothers but I've lost any excitement I had for this game. I don't mind it being linear but from what I've seen and heard from players that had the demo (or beta version) its extremely linear. And from the numerous and constant scenes that's been used as promotional video, it seems the linear style aka hand holding extreme; is still there. I want this game, would love to play this game but it needs more than just looks going for it. I want to be proven wrong and hope when i releases it becomes great but as of now I see it being way overhyped.

I think the only thing that can hold this game back would be overly used QTE for scripted combat. I have high hopes for this game, but QTE really sucks the enjoyment out it. Why can't I just hit an attack button, heavy hit or light hit, and a cutscene of that choice pops up? Why are we still playing the cheap QTE effects?
It would be really cool if it was dynamic qte. Heres to hoping it is.
