Hey would Dave Diaz have these in stock ? I see he has a 602 area code that’s the same Phx code I have. Would be tight to pick one or two up locally in the great state of AZ.
Hey got a question so I was wondering if I have a iPhone will it connect to it also will I be able to use Zello and other Scanning software to scan and have the radio on my belt and will the audio go through the radio speaker
@@Luczgy I doesn’t not have Bluetooth but I cross repeat it to my other radios that have analog so I am able to have to groups talk from two different states and the radio acts like the middle man bringing them together in conversation
The Motorola Ion does but the global ptt has a cool feature of repeating from cell connection to analog so those in your group that don’t have cell can be involved to
The Motorola Ion does and it is android based so I use broad castify and the radio at the same time , the xl6500 does not it is more a basic simple radio. The cool part about the ion is that you don’t have to make wave files for channels announcement feature its smart enough to read out the channels on its own
Anyone in phoenix az have these? Also can you show the push to talk platform in action?
Can you use this for analog uhf ham radio an use keypad to enter freq. Thanks
Yes via front panel programing
Did you figure it out ? I’m trying to program it to my fire frequency
Your fire freq is likely on a P25 system in which this radio cannot do.
is the Global PTT 6500 radio similar to the Motorola APX 6500? what are the specifications?
None, it’s practically a baofeng inside a Motorola radio
WHAT you have an APX NXT? I want one...
Sorry, maybe NXT time

@@Radiographer101 on second thought, I think you might be right. Either way I want one
