I respect the loyalty of these kadogos. They started serving NRA 40 years+ ago and as soon as Obote & Co were overthrown, they were forgotten. The contributions of the NRA collaborators were also forgotten. Many have resorted to youtube to express their dissatisfaction in the manner in which the affairs of the veterans have been handled. This must be so embarrassing for the President and his Team. In my humble opinion, the President has all it takes to attend to these fellows....he has had that capacity since he took power...he is simply not interested. Nevertheless, I salute these kadogos for their unwavering support for the big man for decades, despite their deplorable living conditions...they have been practically reduced to beggars.... I'm sure they sometimes wonder whether they supported a team of liberators or....

U Wested your life seriously
He didn't waste his life. He fought for us. Sadly they were forgotten
Thats your shallow view, you may actually be one of the beneficiaries of his sacrifice, now you taunt him!
@@LuleBugembe Bwana Bugembe, learn to present your views without insulting anyone. It is not necessary to insult someone atakuvumye! I think I wasn't rude when I was responding to you but you have responded rudely!
@@come123D There is absolutely no insult in my comment. Lets be sincere here, which one is the insult, claiming "someone wasted his life" for a genuine struggle that many are benefitting from or rebuking the response? Criticism should be taken affirmatively, I bet you can substantiate your claims of abuse, maybe I should use "unfounded" or "far fetched" not "shallow", nevertheless the meaning is the same. Nonetheless apologies for the discomfort it has caused you!
@@LuleBugembe The insult lies in you determining that my view is shallow. You're entitled to your opinion and I understand that. To you, my view might indeed seem shallow. However, even if you felt that way, there are several more polite words to express it for the sake of having peaceful discussion bcoz we are not at war! I find many Ugandan social media users find it very easy to use big terrible words when expressing opinions on social media. Bavuma even where it is not necessary!
Moreover, I did agree with you that he was forgotten, but what I cannot agree with is the notion that he wasted his life. He fought for peace.
According to the stories we were told, those in power were committing all kinds of atrocities-government soldiers were killing pregnant women, raping women and schoolgirls, robbing iron sheets from homes, extorting money, and killing those who couldn’t pay.
Someone had to stand up and fight against that, and this man, along with others, did just that. So, it’s not fair to say he wasted his life. The only tragedy is that those he fought with have now forgotten him while they enjoy the fruits of his sacrifice.
