This gun is the only reason I've gone flawless more than once. The prosecutor noise used to drive me to insanity, now it's an invitation to use Riskrunner lol.
Permeability is probably better if you’re just going for risk runner plays. Same effect as osmosis but ,with hunters, much quicker cooldown with the dodge.
You can also stash an osmosis and permeability legendary in your slots and DIMventory between them whenever you want risk runner proc’d

@@kylecardella1276 Yeah, you could hardcore build for it, but it's better used as a moment-to-moment counterpick. What Cammy is doing here is fun and funny, but it's not the best way to use Riskrunner. My goal is to get the opposing team to switch off their arc weapons OR for them to die to Riskrunner procs.

Risk Runner when Arc Conductor is proc'd is +10% damage, 15% Arc Damage Resistance, +100 Handling, and unlimited ammo.

@@seffers4788 Yeah, base damage buff is same in PVP and PVE. Only thing that changes to my knowledge is the DR is at 50% in PVE vs the 15% in PVP. I'm not entirely sure if the chain lightning damages differently.

If Bungie ever puts a kinetic with permeability into the game, the stag is going to be busted for this reason... With osmosis kinetic you have to sacrifice you arc grenade or do something goofy like getaway artist. But Stag with permeability gives the best of all worlds.
Open engagement with a rift to give arc soul and convert kinetic to arc; ricochet to gain arc conductor dive with arc soul and arc conductor'd riskrunner. High probability of trading up a frag and if you die you drop a rift for teammates to continue your dive. And stag gives 50% rift every time you go critical health, so you have your rift to open at least half of your rounds.
I love how the Destiny PvP community still survives by theory-crafting the most goofy war crimes they can throw at each other. It's beautiful.
@sm3sam97 the problem is majority of the playerbase still just uses the same cookie cutter loadouts. Still makes me laugh when I die to something crazy unexpected though lol
the whole igneous hammer + conditional thing before the sandbox update was annoying, so I threw on a stasis hunter with cryosthesia and bakris and just went crazy with freeze + shatterdive @@ShadowNemesis575
I grabbed Riskrunner this weekend expecting people to use Prosecutor, but there just aren't as many people as I thought. Most people using Summoner.

The damage resist on risk runner is 15% down from 50% like it used to be. Not sure of the exact damage increase but it increased the headshot value by 1 pre patch
I remember it during ikelos meta lmao..so annoying when someone else got the perk proced on the guy using it and then he proceeded to mop the floor with you.

He has used bow crutches and gl crutches but he isn't making a habit out of it and he openly say's its an annoying build when he uses it.
If you've seen me on epic defender then as i said there if he is still making that build work after essentially a 40% nerf then the build is broken.

Very funny to have people with hardcore scrub mentalities talk endless shit in any situation while also being a Cammy viewer, who is a dude living for funny builds lmao.
You can call me a scrub but in my 20 years of playing games I've never seen ANY FPS GAME allow nubetube types of tuns to be usable nobody wants to play vs canc3r.

I remember when everyone was running around with Heir Apparent HMG that gives you an arc shield. Had risk runner on & took damage from someone's arc gun. Guy with Heir Apparent cornered me & I just held the trigger. He & two of his team mates died in the next few seconds. Always remembered that.

On my farming runs had a guy with riskrunner on enemy team, i was on procecutor. Lost a round, switched to summoner. Checked the riskrunner guy, had switched to tresspsser. Switch back to procecutor. It turned into mindgames.

Getaway artist could go hard with this
Nice thing about Riskrunner are its stats. With the catalyst, it beats most legendaries with good rolls (really only being beaten by god rolls). Since it's exotic and you get it from a new light quest, it's a super nice SMG especially for those who don't have really good ones
My issue is i see maybe one Prosecutor an hour, the rest of the time it's Summoner.
Well this vid was made while farming ..so everyone is getting a drop so they are goin to use it ...when trials just drop it was mostly prosecutor

Farmed all weekend. Friday was all Prosecutors that just melted. Saturday and onward was replaced by all Summoners, clearly people using Pass of Persistence too. Felt like the thing slapped about as hard as Prosecutor to my face, but when I got a decent one and tried it out... Shit man, the handling felt amazing and everything else felt wrong. Adept Rufus it will stay.

I don’t know if it works but with getaway artist perhaps you could consume the flash made for that ultra arc soul and proc osmosis at the same time. Then you’d really shred.

Cammy/Comments, with there being less special ammo about now do you/we think Melee builds might be seen a bit more?
Synthoceps, Feedback Fences, Karnsteins, Liars Handshake for example. There's a couple there that will be good anyways but wondering about Liars Handshake especially! Dodge to activate OP Melee, get hit, OP Melee back = Fight won, Heal, Dodge back. Plus there's Arc Fragments that make the build even more deadly! BUT... Would it actually work in PVP now you're not gunna roll straight into someone's Shotgun?
Bakris Shift definitely confuses people, Icarus Dash & Thruster can throw people off at times too! So would dodging directly into an opponent work too? Not as much special would they take the bait & melee you immediately?
Liar's can still 2 punch a full health super with 9 Resilience or less, and 1 punch if the person took any small amount of damage, not to say you'd want to do that, but if you get a juke in(especially with a Gambler's dodge to angle out) , you can finish somebody without realizing what you did. Karnstein's is decent(especially with Solar fragments that help when you get a keyword heal), Necrotic Grips imho is insanely underrated for what the physical poison can do to somebody trying to heal up /recover, you can scam a nice double if you grapple melee with them on at a pack of people who took a bit of damage as the spread is pretty good. Also throwing the Arcane Needles to poison can be nice, especially now that Needles got way more sticky. Warlock's Arc slide melee is still solid with Necrotic as well.
The only real problem when it comes to seriously leaning into a straight forward melee build strat in PVP is that basically anything that's not a Titan melee(most specifically Arc and Void given Knockout, Bastion+Offensive Bulwark respectively), can feel super inconsistent just due to physical connections and programming. Warlock still has the more awkward palm animation that doesn't register as great, Hunter's knife slash melee and Arc/Stasis punch melee is a little better but still kinda crappy and sometimes stubby comparatively to Titan's stickiness and physical lunge they can gain.
I'm not saying you can't do something that accounts for a melee kill(swash weapons are still great) but it's just not the most reliable strategy when the game just doesn't consistently let you get the melee kill sometimes. Sometimes you gotta just keep firing your guns if you're going to be that close.
@@thealldayspecial Appreciate the detailed response! I use Necrotic Grips on my Warlock with Thorn almost all my time in PVP haha. Arcane Needle or Celestial Fire are reeeeaaaaally good with the Poison! Scorch especially!
Titan like you said with Knockout, Synthoceps etc just smashes haha. Bastion OS, Shield Bash for Supress etc. They get pretty damn good Melee perks without Exotics added on.
Hunter can definitely slay with certain builds. I love Athrys's & Caliban's! Was wondering if we can go back to some older builds, I'll give it a try in 6's first & see what I can work with!

Do you notice the 4 resil? Been running 7 ever since I heard about the 120 health gate.
Cammy is a god tier players they don't really need the resil.
I personally think everyone should run 7 on hunter to get away from more fights, 7res 7mob 10rec is possible with some fragment stat sticks or just god tier armor.
Warlock and Titan there's no reason to not run 100res in the current sandbox since 6-7intellect is enough to always get your super by the end of the game.

This is why I don't use prosecutor or centrifuse more than a single game. Because once people realize you're using those and you rematch them, at least one person will thrown on riskrunner and delete you.
