Yes, its a hand trap turbo based meta... I have been Maxx C'ed so many times in this season with icebarrier, with no response on hand, even playing like 10 responses on deck. Never seems to be on the hand. Also, my best performing version is Tearlaments Icebarrier, its great for going second and so satisfying to break boards with droplet.
@@hicoooyou just gotta keep an eye on the water Locks. Play the tear / horus part First, and always discard Duamutef on the zombie vampire effect. If you got water lock by icebarrier trap you can summon It again next turn for removal. Also, Tidal+MM in hand is a three effect play, as you can discard MM, send Havnis and summon Kitkalos of this play.
@@leandrocardoso4876I also play, I played so much Ice Barrier that I realized that it is weak because it cannot summon many monsters, so I used it with Horus Tear and it is very strong.
@@JetherArroz-mn2my just shared the decklist screen on my Channel. I Will upload a replay of a duel and Decklist. It doesn't brick often, i would say 2 out of 10. You have so many lines to choose from. Funny enough, o would say i bricked less than pure icebarrier. It could be Just luck, but It is what It is. The bad thing is that this deck cant afford hand traps. I'm working on a way to summon Chaos Angel with this deck for protection. It can be done.
yeah i think Ice Barrier struggles in this meta, but around Master 3 is still achievable i'm actually only 2 wins into M1, but then demoted back into M3, we need to be a bit lucky in the coin toss
Well, you should stop to summon Lancea in the EMZ for no reason, i learned that the hard way. There was so many times i wanted to summon Coral Anemone, but would have to sacrifice Lancea. If your endboard would be Just breaker and Lancea, think about letting the EMZ free for next turn.

My duel mostly like this:
-activate icejade ran
-oponent activate Maxx c
-summon lancea
-oponent draw 3
-end turn
-lancea got imperm
-oponent play tenpai
-not enough Handtrap
-surrender
-repeat
